*This review is from an online perspective. This is not an instore experience Yelp Moderators (Originally written on 9/15/22) I saw major errors on it after Yelp removed this review. I have fixed errors. 11/14/22 I have never been to this store, but Natalie D (who is no longer a Yelp Member) peaked my interest in the place. I looked them up online and found a Rock group called (you guessed it) Beach Bunny formed by Lili Trifilio in Chicago, Illinois in 2015. The band gained popularity after the song Prom Queen went viral on Tiktok. This is the wrong Beach Bunny so I added the word Clothing after the name and guess what? I found it. This place sells hats, beauty products, jewelry, clothing, bathing suits, sandals, bags, towels and cover ups. Prices so far from what I have seen range from $16 to $165. Some of the items that caught my attention online are The Elsie Bracelet, Haute Summer Kaftan cover up in black, Hard Summer Full Bottom/Top in white and The Monte Carlo Rancher Hat in white. The Cabana Animal Towel in the pink, black and shades of orange complete this whole beach attire. The women's purses and sandals were not to my liking and so they will not be included in this attire selections I liked. Whatever else Natalie D saw, I wonder what outfit she found to be to her liking at this store? It would seem you can only by tops and bottoms of swimsuits separately. Mix and match, but double the price and probably less fun too. Still, if you want more choices, the online store is your best bet. Happy hunting ladies and gentlemen. Oh!, by the way, buying beauty products like makeup is also an option online. Waterproof make would make The Joker proud see as a pitcher of water made is face melt in 1989's Batman. read more

So this is a long story. I went into this store for the first time with my two girlfriends. We were browsing around and looking at bikinis and being indecisive about what to try on. Were girl, we don't fucking know what to get and us girls are indecisive. At first the girl was being nice (I think) , making sure we were taken care of. But then when we started to try on the bikinis she kept asking if we were okay in the dressing rooms. And not in a way you think, she kept asking after every minute if we were doing good in the dressing room as if she thought we were gonna steal them. Long story short, after trying on the bathing suits we decided to put them on hold so we can look for other swim suits at the mall. This girl told us that we could leave them on hold for 24 hours, please remember that! So we shop around and decide to go back and get those bikinis and my dad said he'd pay for our bikinis so we were just waiting in the shop while he transferred the money to my account. While waiting this girl straight out wouldn't leave us alone, asking us questions and if we were gonna buy the swim suits when we told her we would. We started to feel uncomfortable and the worker overheard me and my friend talking to each each about waiting for my dad to pay me and then this worker straight out cut into the conversation and said, "You guys have to have that person here to pay for them. If you're paying with someone else's credit card they need to be here." And then I told her I was using my card. And then we were waiting for a little more and then this girl just straight out came up to us and said "i don't know what you guys are trying to do but we can't hold onto these items for you guys for long." And then I replied saying "You just told me not to long that we can keep them on hold for 24 hrs." And she replied with, "not if you guys are doing something sketchy." We were going back and forth and she was saying things like "You guys are being sketchy using your daddies money." "Ii don't know if your sugar daddy isn't send you money but we can't hold onto these items for long." Things like that, SUPER RUDE! Sorry but if you dad can't buy you an expensive bikini just say that and tell your dad to get his money up. I'm not trying to pay 500$ for a bikini, that's why I had my dad pay for it. And we went back and forth and eventually she said she wasn't going to hold our items even though we were gonna pay for them, I was just waiting for my dad to send me the money since I didn't have any money in my account. And this worker was being super rude and wasn't treating anyone else like that in the store. Only me and my two friends. (Pretty sure because she was being lowkey being racist but I wanted to hope for the best that racism wasn't a thing anymore) We ended up leaving the store because we felt uncomfortable and waited for my dad to send the money, which he did. We later on went back to the store and ended up paying for the things. That girl was no longer there instead another work who saw the interaction was there and she apologized for her behavior. So yeah, if you go to this store, be aware that there is possibly a racist employee who works there. To the girl who cashed us out and apologized and made us feel comfortable again, she was super sweet! read more

I've been shopping online at BB for YEARS! I luv their bikinis n make it my business to get 2-4 every year. I had never been to a BB store in person until recently. It was so cute. The woman who assisted me was phenomenal. She was very helpful and kind. I value customer service and she wasn't snooty or rude. She paid close attention to my needs and what I was looking for . I love their swimsuits and have been a loyal customer for years. One of my beautiful swimsuits had metal and jewel hardware details and was destroyed by the salt water from the ocean after a few wears. I was so upset and took it into the store, Melinda was incredible. She made me feel like a valued customer and went out of her way to help me and I am so grateful. Let me start off by stating that I love Beach Bunny bikinis, and it kills me to write this 1 star review. I was shopping at Fashion Island today, and went into Beach Bunny today to pick up a couple new bikinis for my upcoming vacation. Sadly though, I was not helped, or even acknowledged by the young lady working today. It's so sad too, because there was only 1 other customer in the store, and she was only acknowledging them. I thought ok, let me give her a few minutes, I browsed around some more, pulled a couple of bikinis off the wall, showed them to my Mom, and still nothing from the sales associate. I even took the bottoms off the hanger to hold it up to me, and still not a hello, hi, or can I help you. I was so disappointed... I came here before and had great customer service but Monday 6/28 at 6:50pm was a different story which makes me not want to come back. The door was clearly open so I walked inside and immediately without greeting me the Asian female told me "sorry we're closed everything is shut down even the registers" ummm you close at 7pm so the door needs to shut at 7pm NOT before that time. I'm sure your boss would say the same. I also just quickly asked if they had an item in stock and she said "no that one is sold out sitewide" UMMMM NO YOU'RE CLEARLY WRONG! Instead of being in a hurry to leave you should study your product knowledge. Terrible service I rather shop online now. One person had to ruin my shopping experience at this store smh read more

I visited Beach Bunny today to try on the Lexi set for sizing, and Melinda assisted me. She was so patient, kind, and helpful with finding the right fit for me. Although the full set I wanted was sold out in my size in this store, Melinda was able to luckily find the last top for me in-store and then located the exact color/size/style bottoms I wanted from a store in Arizona. She handled my transaction swiftly and informatively: amazing customer service! I love Beach Bunny bikinis, and have been a regular customer for a couple of years. Their suits are well made, lined, and sexy, while still being functional for swimming. They are pricey ($200-$400) considering everything is made in China, and the sizing is a bit inconsistent, but I find the quality to be worth it. I usually shop at the location on the peninsula, but was already at Fashion Island today, so I visited this store for the first time. The merchandise was well organized, and easy to browse. I tried on a few bikinis, loved one, and purchased it. So, why 3 stars? There were two women working, one in her 40's, and one in her 20's. The older woman was helpful and knowledgeable of the styles, and wore a mask. The younger woman was not wearing a mask the entire time I was in the store. I found this to be extremely inconsiderate, given we were in an enclosed store, during a global pandemic. When she rang me up, I had to ask her: "Why aren't you wearing a mask?" She did not say a word, just rolled her eyes and looked downward. "Do you just not want to?" Silence. Face coverings are required by law in Orange County. If you want to politicize a pandemic and deny science, that is fine. But do not endanger others in the process. I will not shop here again. read more

Great new store in Fashion Island Mall! These bikinis are gorgeous! They have bikinis/one pieces for all ages, all sizes. The store is beautifully laid out, and looks high end just like their bikinis! They have accessories like make you bags, oils, and purses that are sooo cute! This is a must stop shop if going to Fashion Island. Oh and great location in the mall too!! read more
