Saw that Be Relax was an option on my Priority Pass. Checked in on the waiting list. It was a 40 minute wait, so I walked and got a snack at Gameway. Signed for manicure and a spa massage chair for my husband. My manicure with a pale pink with a shimmer looked so soft and polished. Perfect for my nephew's weekend wedding. I've never had a manicure in an airport before, but it was perfect. Love the quick drying polish. Thanks to Be Relax for this great perk. A nice way to relax at LAX. read more

As I walked up to this location of Be Relax is in the Tom Bradley Terminal of LAX, someone was enjoying a chair back massage. The whole situation looked pretty comfortable because it looks like you are reclined to nearly supine. Through Priority Pass, outbound passengers are entitled to a few services. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Polish Change plus hand massage was pretty tempting but the only staffer who handled those was about to end her shift.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead, I selected the 30-min Be Back chair massage and it turned out to be the same treatment that guy was getting when I walked in. It was more comfortable and relaxing than expected. This might be one of the best manicures I've ever gotten. I'm on a ridiculously long layover at LAX, and rather than getting a room to take a nap, I decided to invest in treating myself. I can't begin to say how happy I am to have made that decision. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Anasha might be one of the kindest people I've ever met, and she does a DAMN FINE manicure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried a cat's eye treatment for the first time, and I may never go back. When I tell you she tamed my cuticles without even a HINT of nipping my skin! I've never felt so relaxed having someone cut back my cuticles, and they've not looked this good in a while. Anasha is a great little conversationalist, incredibly professional, and I'm already planning to get my nails done again at LAX the next time I pass through. If you're concerned about the price, don't be. This was only $25 more expensive than what I'd normally spend, but it's at an airport, so the up-charge should be expected. This is one of those rare times, however, that the up-charge is WELL worth it. Total plus tip was only $101...WELL worth the price. While I only came for a manicure, they also do pedicures, and now I'm thinking I should have done that as well. She initially told me I could sit in a massage chair but that she'd need to sanitize the chair and that she was busy. When I asked what other services were available, she said the other employee was on break and that those services weren't included with Priority Pass. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I explained that I was happy to pay for any services that weren't covered and was just trying to understand my options and what was available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Instead of answering my questions, Susan became increasingly short, frustrated, and dismissive. She abruptly said, "I'm trying to help other people," and walked away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was only one gentleman in a massage chair. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Because she wouldn't answer my questions or help me understand what was available, I ended up leaving without receiving any services at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's no excuse for treating customers this way. Obviously predicted on the fact that it was free through chase. Am I sad the only real lounge in lax costs 35 bucks pp instead of free? Obviously yes, and I'm planning on downgrading the card before my next renewal, conveniently just after the trip currently about to start (I'm writing this review while in a chair - not as good as free food and booze, but it's definitely not the *worst* way to start an 11 hour flight... Anyway, I'm not normally a massage person, but their free chairs for half an hour are certainly relaxing compared to being out in the airport on an uncomfortable airport chair. They only have two chairs that are free though, so we lucked out there wasn't a waitlist (we saw a small one form, since we were taking both of them.) They also have a couple "upgraded chairs" for 8 bucks a person, but I can't speak to them. I can speak to the fact, which wasn't super obvious online, that yes if you have a priority pass through the Sapphire Reserve, it does include guests like a traditional lounge would. I wouldn't pay full price, but I would use the benefit again, if I weren't giving it up after this trip (and there wasn't a wait.) read more

Like many before me, I was happily introduced to this place via Priority Pass. I used the waitlist QR code to sign myself and two friends up for chair massages. The 30 minutes for free is generous! Alejandro kindly let me know that there was a 30 min wait but it ended up being less than that. I came back when they texted me. They have some next level massage chairs! It goes up your back and even up your head - so so good!! It was also warm lol maybe too warm. You also get your calves wrapped up and massaged. The people who worked there clearly enjoyed working with each other and were super friendly and professional at the same time! I also got a chance to experience a little taste session of the relaxation lounger ("Be Uplifted")!! There are two of these in the very front and they are a game changer for sure! You take of your shoes off and the things wraps around and knows where your feet are and stretches your feet and back in all sorts of ways while massaging - it's amazing!
