I was in the area so I Googled nearby bike shops and this came up in the search. SERVICE: The staff at the shop were amazing. They knew all about bikes and can answer any questions you have. I never felt like I was being persuaded to buy something more expensive than I needed which can sometimes be the case with small businesses. They also found other issues with my bike and showed me so that I could understand it was a necessary fix. ATMOSPHERE/COVID: They enforce wearing mask and have a limit to how many customers can be in the shop at once. I appreciate this because I'm a health-nut. You can see from my attached photos that it looks like any bike shop. I appreciate the aesthetic. PARKING: Surprisingly they have a small parking lot in the back of the shop, which is amazing considering they're in the heart of Atlanta where free parking is a myth. I've been to this shop a few times and unfortunately have had a consistently frustrating…read moreexperience. Most recently, I came in to test ride an e-bike I'm considering purchasing. When I mentioned that I typically ride a 58cm frame because it feels more manageable for me, I was quickly told I was riding the "wrong size" and should be on a 60cm based solely on my height. I understand fit guidance is part of the job, but the way it was communicated felt dismissive of my actual riding experience and preferences. At one point I was told, "I've been doing this for 30 years," which came across more as shutting down the conversation than helping me find the right fit. I also asked to test ride an e-bike to get a feel for the assist, and it felt like an inconvenience to the staff. I had to ask multiple times before they agreed, and by then the interaction had already left a negative impression. I'm sure the staff is knowledgeable, but the approach can come off as arrogant rather than helpful. As a customer, I'm looking for collaboration and respect for my preferences, not to be talked out of them. Unfortunately, this has been my experience on more than one visit and I wont be returning or recommending this shop to anyone.
