I got my first ever facial done here, and it was an amazing experience! I was taken care of by Mika and she was very knowledgable in how I should be altering my skincare routine and the correct steps I need to take to keep my skin glowing and healthy. I've been following their Instagram for a while and was super excited to finally go to the grand opening today! I was able to see the ribbon cutting and enjoy the goodies. While waiting for my appointment I was meeting their team and everyone was super nice and accommodating of me. I advice AGAINST receiving an acne injection from here or from any where else. This facility uses Kenalog, which is a potent corticosteroid that can (and likely will) cause soft tissue and muscle to weaken (atrophy) resulting in the area of the injection site to sink in. Prior to receiving this treatment (which was offered complimentary), I was reluctant as I asked about this adverse effect and was told "that can happen but it is UNlikely...I've done my research and know to dilute it with saline...trust me." Unfortunately, it didn't matter, as I have two areas of atrophy on my face. In my opinion, receiving a quick fix for an acne lesion is not the answer and NOT WORTH the side effect...I regret it, but, in the moment it was offered, I felt incredibly vulnerable and reassured that this may help While the atrophy may improve over time, there is no guarantee that it will fully resolve even with treatments, such as a PRP injection, to promote healing. This review is intended to provide education about this service for you to weigh its pros vs. cons and make an informed decision about it. read more
