My new favorite place. Chloe and her staff take pride in providing quality service. The salon is updated, clean, and has a lot of options to pick from. I was introduced to powder dip manicures and they have lasted longer than anything I've put on my nails before. They're even willing to get creative and go above and beyond. They were great . . . until they weren't. Last visit was a nightmare. The Top Pot next door set off the fire alarm, so vents kicked in and alarms were going off for most of my visit there. It wasn't clear if we were supposed to exit the building, so we all stayed put thru the alarms. IT WAS LOUD My nails never used to lift. Whatever products they are using now don't stick & my whole right hand needed to be redone. The shape was supposed to be rounded edges with a flat top (rounded square). The nails are all at an angle, I had to round out the edges myself at home because they were sharp and looked like someone took a hatchet to them. And then there are the flat spots. Nail surface is rounded on some sections and flat on others. It looks weird and I will probably have to go somewhere else to have things corrected. AND THE BEST PART? You now have to pay to park in the building, so it costs $$$ just to go in and get blasted with alarms and get your nails biffed. There are cheaper places with free parking, so probably be scoping those out soon. read more

I'd advise calling to make a reservation instead of using their booking tool. I reserved online 4days ago, received the res acknowledgment and still show I'm booked in the app only to arrive to be told the nail tech (and owner) was on vacation and that they couldn't fit me in. Very, very poor customer experience, quite a bummer. read more

Wow, it was my first time here and I was blown away by how my nails turned out! The staff accommodated me right away and they provided me with a great selection of dipping powder colors to choose from. I like to keep my really nails long and I'm pretty picky with how they come out. Chloe did such an amazing job! She made my nails look so beautiful and was super quick! The nail artist was extremely annoyed all the time. And when I asked her if she could put less sparkle on, she literally stabbed my nails with the brush. Worst experience ever. -- To reply to the business owner's reply, "stabbing my nails with the brush" was the closest I could think of, with the sheer force she put into applying the nail polish. The passive-aggressiveness the nail artist had was really scary. And when I apologized for telling her to make the change-which I did not need to at all-she literally raised her eyebrows and was like I did something wrong. SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. This is the cleanest nail salon I've ever been too. It has a very nice and sterile vibe, also NO strong nail polish/acetone smell at all. The women working there were kind and my nail tech did a very diligent job. Also they have the most dip powder colors I've ever seen at a salon and the colors were STUNNING. Perfectly priced for the atmosphere. Normally I get fake nails but I decided to go natural and grow them out. My tech did a very sophisticated red ombré per my request and it turned out great! When other reviewers tell you they are rude, believe it! It appears somehow the owner equates being rude with being elite or having high standards. She is wrong. It's immature and unprofessional. Before COVID, I tried to get service as a walk-in 1.5 hours before they closed. "No" was the only response they felt compelled to give (not, "I'm sorry we are booked, can we find another time?" nothing- they barely looked up. ) Gave them another try, (maybe they had a bad day??) booked online this time. In their defense, I did not receive a confirmation, but neither did I get a message rejecting it, or recommending another time so I thought it must be okay. The service I selected online gave me a limited number of time slots, so the assumption SHOULD be: that service is available at that time. Nope. That's on me I guess, but again, no offer to find another time, no apology that they left me hanging without a confirmation either way. They were so smug in their righteousness that my wasted visit was in no way their fault-it was all that mattered to them. Well, good for them: They're satisfied that they are in the right AND they lost a customer. (I suspect MANY potential customers lost as I repeat my story to anyone who will listen in my community of over 500 owners less than 2 blocks from their front door.) There are many GREAT nail salons in Downtown Bellevue-you don't need to choose between excellent workmanship and professionalism. Be Chic doesn't deserve your business until they master simple common courtesy. PS- I did not use foul language and the owner's response below is all you really need to know. Updated review: Immediately after posting this review, the owner Chloe responded and asked me to contact her the following day. She was very understanding, attentive and nice when I spoke with her on the phone. She offered a refund of services and said she would be talking to staff to prevent any future occurrences like ours. For me personally, good customer service can be more valuable than a product/service. It's understanding that things happen and I'm very pleased that Chloe not only stood behind her employees but offered a fair resolution. Thanks! My boyfriend and I came into this nail salon and had a terrible time. My pedicure was OK, the lady didn't even clip the cuticles or top coat my toenails. The pedicure didn't even last a week. The manicure was also not good, I just did a clear coat after the lack of attention to my toes. My boyfriends pedicure on the other hand was absolutely horrible. The lady was buffing the side of his big toe and for some reason moved towards the top of his big toe?! He instantly stated "Oh please stop that doesn't feel good." Well she didn't stop for a few seconds so he jerked away and starts bleeding everywhere. She had filed off several layers of skin off his big toe. She was apologetic but it was horrible. My boyfriend is way too nice and paid for the service although it was horrible. We both got crappy services and he's had a wound on his foot for now a month. I had an appointment last week in the evening that I booked the day before. I had a pedicure and manicure. My pedicure went good but feet weren't exfoliated which is the reason I come to get pedicures. I wasn't going to worry about that bc everything else about the pedicure was nice but then when it came to my manicure the lady rushed through my cuticles and passed me off to someone else to attend to two other appointments. The lady who painted my nails painted them while I was in the chair so she didn't get close to my cuticles. The nail polish was thick and goopy and wasn't thinned out so it didn't cure nicely on my nails and she painted just a goopy regular clear on top which made it the drying process and the look even worse. There was no quick dry painted on them so I was left at the drying station for 20 minutes waiting for my nails to dry and they still weren't dry when I left bc I all the thick goopy layers. These are my nails two days after my manicure, they have chipped, cracked, and bubbled. And my cuticles look horrible like nothing was done. I know all I got was a regular manicure with shellac removal and regular pedicure but I paid $45 plus a $16 tip and I think it should at least last longer than two days. I contacted the number on the website and sent these pics, and asked for at least a credited manicure with no response back. The owner Chloe is very nice and did a great job with me before, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else esp. when she's not there. read more

I went to this nail salon for a gel manicure while visiting my family in Belvue. I felt that the service was very rushed and that the manicurist was trying to get me and my sister in-law out as quickly as possible. My nails themselves looked good, however when I went to my manicurist at home he pointed out that they had used an electric tool to sand down my nails. I now have a visible ridge across all of my nails that can be seen even with nail polish on. I went over 2 months ago and am still waiting for the ridge to grow out. read more

I love this place! So clean! Love the environment. I went in for a shellac pedi and only waited for five minutes max maybe. This is on a Tuesday 4PM-ish. Chose my color, there was quite a variety to choose from for shellac colors. And as my nail tech was setting up her equipment; nippers, clippers and files. She dropped a pair and before even using them on me disinfected it with alcohol, which isn't even something that would bother me to begin with but the attention to small details like that is awesome. The product they use is great, my feet were still smelling nice and florally after being in my work/running shoes for the rest of the day. To be done in 45 minutes or less for a shellac pedi and still have it look A+ makes me happy and I will be returning for nail services in the future! read more
