Needed to replace my lost key fob (driver 1) for my 2017 Honda Accord Touring. Called around to a few Locksmiths here in Fremont and surrounding areas, and obtained several quotes which required my waiting a few days for the right part (fob) to come in, and then drive down to their shop to program the fob. I saw the over 480+ reviews for BDS Locksmith (based in SJ), gave them a call, spoke to Ben, and not only did he give me a better price, he advised that he could come down and do it the same day. A few hours later Ben showed up at my house, asked that I verify that I owned the vehicle, and in less than 30 minutes, he had my new key fob programmed, with the emergency key cut, and that was it; a stress-free process. The almost 500 reviews/5 star-average is well-deserved. I hope never to use Ben's services again, but if i do, at least I know who to call, and who to recommend should the need arise. read more

I needed to blank key fobs cut and programmed for my 2007 Honda Accord. I reached out to several options on Yelp. Benjamin from BDS was one of the first to respond and offered the lowest price. I met him in a Starbucks parking lot an hour later and he was done with the job in 15 min! What I thought might be a stressful undertaking was made simple by BDS. Highly recommend. read more

Fast and friendly service. Came on time and honored the quoted price. Honest and reliable. Highly recommend. Will use again.

Ben at BDS was fast and responsive. Our spare fob stopped working and after checking with the dealers, I found that BDS price was awesome! $275 for Mazda CX5 vs dealer $240 fob + $260 programming. It took Ben about 7 minutes to program the fob and it worked great! He takes cash, venmo, and I think zelle. He came to my house and the total time was probably 15 minutes. I highly recommend. read more

Great job, Quality and best value for a locksmith Thank you so much for helping my son.

In short: very professional and honest I was looking to replace a car key fob that I had lost for my car. I found a recommendation for BDS Locksmith in a car forum where somebody had to have his key fobs replaced as well. I reached out to Benjamin for help. Benjamin was responsive and came through when promised (e.g., showing up at the time we had agreed, giving me a heads up before he headed over as I had requested, having a new key fob ready versus a refurbished one). When it came time to replace the key fob, he told me that the key was actually still in the car and that I didn't need to have it replaced. In the end, he was right (another long story) and despite the time arranging the appointment and driving over, he was gracious enough not to require payment for his time since I didn't need the replacement key fob. If I need locksmith services again (knock on wood), I would reach out to Benjamin first. read more

The entire job lasted about 15 minutes, and I got a brand new original Infiniti QX 60 key fob. A+ read more

I was locked out of my vehicle because my keys were lost. I had two new fobs made and duplicate house keys with mail box keys made as well. Service was quick and reasonable as l got four keys and two fobs for less than the dealer would have changed just for one fob. One aside it seems there is one standard rate for car lockout no matter the locksmith. It was quick and professional service and I was very happy to get the car running again read more

Benjamin saved me tonight. I lost my car keys at work today, and had to take a $20+ Lyft ride to grab the spare with the dead battery. I couldn't open my car door manually, didn't know what to do. So my friend suggested I call a locksmith since my car insurance doesn't cover roadside assistance for my dead ass keys. Benjamin came in 15 mins, and he quoted me $95 for the dead ass battery. I told him how it won't open manually, and he figured out it was because who ever put the locks in did it backwards. He only charged me $15 to fix the door. He was super quick, accepts Venmo. I also tipped him cash. read more
