This business does an amazing job to help support local artists and art businesses…read more Before COVID, they did local art grant cycles two a year. I applied twice and was honored & thrilled to be approved on my second application, which was quite a while ago now. This opportunity allowed me to get tools & supplies to help me create art despite my disabilities. Getting accessible tools and supplies has been a huge blessing and I am incredibly grateful to RAC. After COVID hit, they transitioned their funding to help artists and art businesses that have been mortally wounded due to the pandemic. They are an amazing resource for local makers and I'm honored to have been chosen by them.

If you're looking for a safe, convenient, and affordable storage unit look no further…read more I was in need of storing a few items and only needed a small unit for my items. I arrived at EZ storage and Gregory (manager) was able to provide me a unit. These units are all indoors and climate controlled. You need a special code to get through the gate/garage and your unit is inside. It's a drive-thru unit and so you drive your car in and then unload and take the elevator up. They provide carts for easy transport. Before I committed to the unit, Gregory brought me through the building and showed me the size of the unit and talked to me about the cost per month. Right now they are running a special so I was able to get 3 months for half price. I assume they have specials often so be sure you check. Gregory told me he lives on site with his dog so if there is ever anything going on he'll know about it. There are also multiple cameras around the property and inside the building. I'm really glad this storage facility exists. It's exactly what I was looking for!

My initial call with questions reinforced that they were professional, friendly and took pride in their place. Move-in was easy and having access to their moving truck ( at a reasonable price!), made it all work - and we had coordinated everything from NY just a short time prior to arrival. They have lots of carts to use, easy drive in access to drop off stuff and cart it up to your unit, and clean, auto-lit corridors and storage units. We kept the unit over 2 years and there were a few times we were late on payments and they didn't treat you like a deadbeat - they just reminded you and we paid right away. I cannot think of one negative thing, and I am a pretty harsh grader - I don't just give away 5 stars to everyone.

Not the flashiest jaunts, if you ask me. But, a few blocks down and around the corner is Centro Modern Furnishings. If you're at Lleyellyn's, it's a bit further down, keep going you'll reach it. If your tastes lean even the least bit modern, you should definitely check out Centro. Centro straddles the line between usable modern furniture and furniture as art. They've got a lot of beautiful pieces that can add so much life to a space when used as accents. We just picked up the beautiful Tolomeo Mega Floor Lamp and it was 10% cheaper than if we had went back to (http://www.dwr.com/productdetail.cfm?id=12001&Prfrm=1&cmp=AFC-GB9049936277) DWR in Maryland Plaza. There's a lot of expensive, designer furniture, but if it's your taste, then it's money well-spent.
