During today's class there were other people doing independent work and they would intermittently offer a suggestion or two to the participants in the demo class which created a welcoming, communal environment. You will need to wedge your own clay in the demo course so if you want to just show up and have everything ready for you, maybe go with the date night option. If you want to learn a little bit more about the craft in general, this is a great option.
