After being told it was crap he went to Southside just to see what theyd say. Sure enough they said the best they could do was 70 bucks! My son then produced his receipt from Southside . They did not care, it was simply oh well! After the horrible grief hes had to deal with some kind of compassion would have been nice. These people are not reputable. After reading prior reviews I realized I should've never done business there. I'm just not a review type of person until something happens you realize the reviews are there for a reason. Let me just say, I've never been so astounded on the reality of the business and its culture. If you really need to pawn something, I highly suggest not to do business with this location. Long story short, I pawned 2 items and paid as much in interest as borrowed. Doesn't seem fair does it? To make matters worse, the situation only happened due to Mike the assistant manager. I showed up to pay off the pawn loan and was told interest of $90 hit the same day. (It was going to actually hit at midnight) Mike, tells me to come back tomorrow and the manager Kendra would most likely work with me on the interest fee that hit that day, I just wanted to pay and be done and Mike insisted to come back to Kendra could give me some relief on $90 interest fee and she's done it before. So I took his advice due to how adamant Mike was and returned today to talk to Kendra. As i arrived i was told I not only the $90 but an additional $90 for another interest fee that accrued as well! To make matters worse, Kendra, the manger said she had no idea what Mike was talking about and she had never done that before. The only thing Kendra would or could do (who knows what's true) is gave me her business card with her cell phone number on it. She said next time I want or need to pawn an item, call her and she'll give me maximum value. A nice gesture but did not help matters with my current situation. So, in the end, I pawned 2 items for $600 and ended up having to pay back $1080.00 because the assistant manager Mike turned me away when trying pay the loan. Either the employees scammed me or this is the way they do business. Again, please think more than twice before doing business at this location.

On July 17, 2026, he called to ask about the payoff amount and was told the item was going out on the sales floor that same day. He was quoted $280 to redeem it. However, the pawn contract clearly states: Loan Amount: $200 Annual Percentage Rate (APR): 243.33% Monthly Finance Charge: $40 Forfeiture Date: September 13, 2026 Based on the contract, the item should not have been eligible for sale on July 17. I went to the store to get clarification. One employee showed me the computer screen and repeated the incorrect information. While she stepped away, another employee acknowledged that I had been given false information. Rather than argue, I paid the amount requested to redeem the PS5. After getting home and reviewing the contract, I realized I had been overcharged by $40. The loan had only been active for about one month. I've called the store several times today to speak with the manager, Kendra, but was told she had already left for the day. I will be returning to the store tomorrow morning to request a refund of the overpayment. This experience was frustrating because the information provided by the staff did not match the signed contract. Customers should be able to rely on the terms of their agreement and receive accurate payoff information. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then went and ended up using a craistlist ad from California, 4 years ago that was much much smaller and That guy was asking $65 for it. So the guy told me, my tool is only worth 40 bucks. They wont honor the broken tablets or anything else they sell. You literally have to pay extra to have the honor of having a chance of exchanging electronics , that they sell you. then when you bring it back to either exchange or have them prove it works, they start talking to you like you're 4 years old and you're annoying them. I have not been as mad as I have been the last few times going in there with a device they sold me, that "they tested, so it works" and just trying to get someone to be normal and do their job.
