One of the worst purchasing experiences I've had in my entire life. I purchased a ring for a close…read morefriend for $59.99 and the ring was too small so when I took it back to get It sized up I was informed that I could buy two get one free of the same ring( Stackable rings). I was told that purchasing a plan for the Rings would make it easier to size the Rings so the store clerk was supposed to return the first original ring and then re-ring me for two rings and I'd get a third ring for free. But it did not happen that way ATTTTT ALLLLL!!!!. They ended up charging me for all three rings and when I brought it to their attention that the original return was not transferred over and I was charged for the third ring they refund the money for the third ring but they did not refund for the first ring. Nor did they apply it to the new order. So all together they charged me $283 for four rings and plans when all I should have had to do was just purchase a second ring because I already had a credit of $59.99 for the first. So basically before taxes I would have only had to pay $119.96. since then I've spoken with the stores manager I've spoken with the customer service who referred back to the store manager to get the same false information. They refuse to refund me the money that's owed to me. Instead of doing what's right they'd rather steal from their customers and expect them to return to continue to purchase products from their store. Yet not to mention I was in their store for almost 3 hours as they try to ring unring re-ring my purchase in my plans and voiding information. I literally have seven receipts from the store from a 3-hour span. If you're going to purchase a wedding ring, engagement ring,a friendship ring, a bracelet, a Mother's Day gift or Father's Day gift I strongly suggest you not do so and go to another jewelry company like Kay's or a company that can provide the quality of work and service that your loved ones deserve. I called and explained my situation I lived 45 minutes away they stayed open so that I could make it there to come and see if they had my wedding ring set. And YES they had my rings and even gave me a discount and sized them at no charge. They have so many beautiful pieces my husband will be taking me there for my gift for my Birthday/Valentines present. They all were very kind considerate and generous and totally fair with us . Went in needing an appraisal with the hopes of selling two rings. Was told that they "never bought…read moresomething until an appraisal and offer had already been made". I was supposed to get the appraisal and offer someplace else, come back with the offer in writing and then they would pay a higher price. Who knows if the higher price would be worth all the effort? During the project, we were unable to reach agreement regarding the design. I requested cancellation of the project and the return of my personal property and deposit. The business has refused to return my property without additional payment that I dispute. The matter is now pending before the court, so I will not argue the legal merits here. My purpose in filing this complaint is to document my experience and to request the return of my personal property and any funds the court determines are appropriate. The money you gave me for my grandma's two platinum bands was $220???? You wanted me to buy what you wanted. I never felt like I was being heard by you and you were being extremely pushy. I am so disappointed in myself for trusting you through one of the most important events of my life. Update- I went to a reputable jeweler today. When I showed her the band that you had made for me, she literally laughed and told me it was worth $200 at best. She saw the brand that was on the inside of the band and told me that's where scrap jewelry comes from.
