I know people get mad and act rash and post bad reviews and if I could take away the 1 star I…read morewould!, making it zero stars. This business doesn't deserve anybody's business. After reading prior reviews I realized I should've never done business there. I'm just not a review type of person until something happens you realize the reviews are there for a reason. Let me just say, I've never been so astounded on the reality of the business and its culture. If you really need to pawn something, I highly suggest not to do business with this location. Long story short, I pawned 2 items and paid as much in interest as borrowed. Doesn't seem fair does it? To make matters worse, the situation only happened due to Mike the assistant manager. I showed up to pay off the pawn loan and was told interest of $90 hit the same day. (It was going to actually hit at midnight) Mike, tells me to come back tomorrow and the manager Kendra would most likely work with me on the interest fee that hit that day, I just wanted to pay and be done and Mike insisted to come back to Kendra could give me some relief on $90 interest fee and she's done it before. So I took his advice due to how adamant Mike was and returned today to talk to Kendra. As i arrived i was told I not only the $90 but an additional $90 for another interest fee that accrued as well! To make matters worse, Kendra, the manger said she had no idea what Mike was talking about and she had never done that before. The only thing Kendra would or could do (who knows what's true) is gave me her business card with her cell phone number on it. She said next time I want or need to pawn an item, call her and she'll give me maximum value. A nice gesture but did not help matters with my current situation. So, in the end, I pawned 2 items for $600 and ended up having to pay back $1080.00 because the assistant manager Mike turned me away when trying pay the loan. Either the employees scammed me or this is the way they do business. Again, please think more than twice before doing business at this location.

After reading reviews online regarding Crestwood Coin and Jewelers, I thought I'd take a chance. SO GLAD I DID! First of all, many customers came by who knew the owners by name. Meaning they were treated well enough to warrant repeat business! The conversations back and forth were warm and friendly- like the Cheers Bar! LOL! Besides that, the folks working there were very knowledgeable, fair and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised with what we left with. I will definitely be back with more items and will refer friends and family to Tom and his coworkers!

I would say, beware sellers. I went in to sell a sterling…read moresilver ID bracelet that I have had since I was a teen. It was purchased at Tiffany's for my 16 th birthday. The woman who works there and challenged me in saying that. I mean, I grew up in NYC, and really, who would forget opening up one of those beautiful turquoise boxes? It was not a dupe from my parents. Regardless, I was told it would be purchased. More than 90 minutes later, I was told I could have $40 for it. It weighs 1.5 oz, and market rate is $48 an ounce , which would have been about $72. I was expecting to walk out with $55-$60. When I balked, Tom cursed a d said he didnt care if I didnt want to sell it and said a pawn shop would pay less. I chose not to go to a pawn shop. I went to what I believed was a fair business. Just be careful, because I met a lovely lady while waiting and she was there because his check to her didnt clear.
