Even he was super impressed (and won't admit it but I think regrets not buying local!). I love the small, family feel. This place is VERY fancy, but it doesn't matter what you walk up in, they treat you with respect. They were so helpful and even cleaned my engagement ring for free, and honestly, cleaner than the big box store ever has. My fiancé even said he will absolutely return to Clayton for everything else moving forward. I have a warranty on my engagement ring with the store he bought it from, but after a few years, I'll probably move my business over here and just pay out of pocket. It's worth it for the quality and swiftness that they offer! Highly recommend.

Of course they are upfront about their unlimited free ring cleanings and discounts on wedding bands for those who also bought their engagement rings with them, but they also will go above and beyond to make sure you continue to love your ring year over year. After they took a look and agreed with my inclination, they decided to simply make a completely new head for the setting. I fully expected to pay for this, but they completed the service on-the-house because that is the kind of pride they take in their work. Over the years, John and Jean took great care of us -- from birthday, anniversary and Christmas gifts to a new band at 15 years and a diamond upgrade at 20 and a tennis bracelet at 25. He did all the legwork to find me 2 exquisite diamonds to choose from. I was thinking of a new band, too and Dan said, "What don't you like about this band?" The diamond sits too high. NO PROBLEM! Dan had the idea to open it up and drop a basket in. I just received it and it is BEYOND FABULOUS! Moritz Reusch is your jeweler for a lifetime!

The vintage setting was sharp and scratched people and tore clothing. We had it filed down but it still clawed my newborn baby. For my 10th wedding anniversary, we decided to try to find a way to use the diamond but in a setting that I might be able to wear. I wanted something low-profile, with a vintage look, that wasn't too flashy but that fit a decent sized diamond. I figured we'd just go in to a place and pick something out, but it turned out that I was incredibly particular about something that would be on my finger all the time. We went through a lot to find this ring. Kit worked tirelessly to find a ring that I would like. Ultimately, he worked with far-away colleagues to find multiple antique rings, one of which I fell in love with, and then his craftsman remade it to fit me perfectly. It is gorgeous, and, I have now worn it every day for six months. I am a dancer, and I can even wear it in the studio. I still glance down at my hand fairly often and admire how much I love this ring. Kit was an utter joy to work with. He is also fair, honest, and kind. I cannot speak highly enough of him, and I am incredibly grateful to him for helping me find a ring I love. Now, when I look at my ring, I am warmly reminded of the great grandma who owned the original diamond, my mother-in-law who let me proudly wear it, my husband who asked me to marry him...and Kit.

Well, Simons isn't exactly "local" to us, we live 1.5 hours away but because I visit St.L often and have family there we thought we'd try a few stores. I have to say I was a little intimidated when we got to the area.... it's Clayton, expensive and high end stores. But I wanted to give it a shot. And I am SOOO glad we did!! Albert was amazing!! He worked hard to find the exact diamond I was looking for. He took the time to later talk on the phone and walk me through the website to find the PERFECT diamond. He knew the quality I wanted and helped me find everything that was on my list. And each time we went to the store we were treated with ZERO pressure. Their #1 priority was to make sure we were happy with the ring.... and we ARE! My fiance also got his wedding ring there. I don't normally write reviews... not good ones, and not bad ones. But this store and their employee Albert are top notch! I recommend them 100% and will be going back for more purchases. Thank you Simons Jewelers and Albert. Kent and I thank you!! Simon's Jewelers is a nice family-owned operation…read more The issue is they can tell you lies and lead you on for months. I started shopping at Simon's in 2023 and have spent several hundred thousand dollars there. We were always treated courteously and nicely, until we weren't. I have received many great Rolex Time pieces from them and bought a lot of other items. The issue started in May of 2025 when Jonathan Katz decided to approach my wife about working on getting me a special Rolex time piece, that would get from Rolex because they were doing a gigantic remodel of their store. They felt they should get several great watches because they were rebuilding their store. In July and August of 2025, they again approached my wife about what my absolute number one watch would be? She explained to them what it was. They went so far to communicate with me to reconfirm. In September of 2025, they were gracious enough to give me a wonderful Yellow Gold and Green Dial Daytona. At that point my wife asked Jonathan point blank, "If we take this watch, will it exclude us from getting the one he really wants in the future?" to that Jonathan replied, "No absolutely not." Fast forward to December when said remodel was complete. My wife tried to approach Jonathan to have a conversation with him about this, and he blew her off. Fast Forward to January and the same M.O., and finally Jonathan said "We got him the Yellow Gold Daytona, we can't move the goal post." After this conversation I decided to have a chat with Jonathan about this, he was obviously scared as he appeared to be visibly shaken because let's be honest, Jonathan is a nice guy and really not one for confrontation. He explained to me that his father had indeed promised said watch to a customer who bought a 10 Carat Diamond Ring, and that I should go to the other Authorized Dealers I work with to obtain such time pieces. Now here's the fun part - Rolex is super against purchase tying - one purchase to another and that's not what they want their Authorized Dealers to do but I played it cool, I get that they are a small business trying to make as much money as they can, but of course this turned out to not be true. I spoke to Simon about a week later and he said "Jonathan was confused about what transpired and that we should definitely not have my wife work on things and to keep it between us to avoid any confusion, and there was not customer with a 10-carat ring" Anyway, after this debacle - I have attempted to throw these people bones and spent about $50,000 there this year despite the poor service and lies. Unfortunately, since then for the most part Jonathan tries to avoid me at all costs, and I have been working with Al, who is a nice person, but not exactly the best jeweler I've ever worked with. Today after dealing with yet another low effort situation from them, I decided to move on. I told them that I tried to constantly throw them bones and would go someplace else, then they wished me luck, as I was able to get the gifts I so wanted for others with literally a simple text message and an ask. I would tell anyone to be cautious about anything these people tell you because if they would outright lie to me and disregard me as an individual, after ALL the business we have done together, they will certainly treat just about anyone else the same or worse.
