Tell me why it's so easy to go into this store and spend too much money?? They literally have something for everyone. I walked out with a moonstone ring (that is super high quality and I haven't taken off since I bought it), an adorable amethyst bracelet that was on sale, and a geode for my husband to crack open and see what's inside. Plus a lot of other little crystals for the house. I could spend hours in here reading and collecting all the things I want! They were also super helpful, telling us where to find certain gems, and finding me the perfect ring. They have a lot of really cool items on sale/affordable as well. Review change from 5 to 2 stars: 5 years ago I posted a 5 star review based on 1 or 2 interactions. Since then, I have gained more knowledge and consulted with many geologists, and other businesses that supply crystals, gem, and rocks; and I've learned that STLRocks, does NOT ROCK! Unfortunately after many encounter, lately I have come to understand the owners are in it for profit only, don't have the knowledge needed to help customers. When asked about quality, sources or even just the properties of an item they got very defensive. They sell lab heat treated quartz and amethyst as other crystals while still calling them "natural." Educate yourself before buying anything. They are business people, out to make money with lack of transparency on their products. They are very evasive when asked too many questions. read more

While I was in St Louis I was looking for gem and mineral shops to check out and stumbled upon this place. I found some really nice cabochons for my jewelry. They have lots of jewelry, minerals, gems, and stones. If I stayed any longer in the shop, I'd probably go broke. The staff was very helpful and kind. I found this shop to be the best rock shop I've visited so far in the St Louis/metro area! They have a huge variety of stones in multiple forms and sizes, plus a large selection in jewelry form, without being overwhelming. Also reasonable prices. Didn't feel like we were being hovered over while shopping either. I will definitely travel a bit further from home to shop here when buying stone purchases! read more

As soon as I went in and started looking around I was absolutely stunned!! THE PRICES HERE ARE AMAZINGLY LOW AND THE PRODUCT QUALITY IS FANTASTIC ALSO!! The gentleman behind the counter explained that since they actively fly to where they found that rock/crystal, they are able to keep their prices so reasonable. They had all sorts of different rocks and crystals. It is definitely the biggest display of them I've ever seen. I saw these massive pieces (they were at least the size of a softball, if not bigger) of Rose Quartz for $25!!!! I've always made a habit of checking out new metaphysical type stores and I've never seen better prices then at this store. Besides rocks in their natural state, they have alot of very pretty jewelry and also rock/crystals shaped like animals. I ended up buying an Amethyst point that is about 6 inches long for $5.50 and a gorgeous prices of Malachite for $23. From now on when I need certain rocks or crystals, I will definitely be going here and nowhere else! read more
