It's the main attraction in the Delmar Maker District, according to them, "leading the neighborhood's mission to support and promote makers of all kinds." Tonight there is a glass blowing demonstration, drinks at the bar, a street full of food and makers booths, loads of glass pumpkins and other things to look at and purchase if you like! Merill Strauss greeted us and told us about the pieces, the history, and helped us understand a bit more about the artwork and how it's assembled. Look for incredible colored glass exhibits from famous artists. You can see many of these pieces in Museums, businesses and mansions. Some pieces are far larger than chandeliers and have delicate "petals" coming out like flowers. I can't wait to go back and see what they have in store for us.

Upon arriving my friend and I walked in and noticed that all the people from gallery night were obviously here as well. There must have been 50 people in the front room alone! As I began browsing I saw such unique pieces of artwork and caught myself staring at some for what felt like hours. I was honestly lost in his artwork! We made our way through the gallery discovering pieces of art on every wall. The vibe was so casual and the crowd was just great. I really enjoyed the artwork I saw as well as the interactions I had with some of the crowd. I know I want to go back another day when it isn't so crowded so that I can explore the gallery again.
