The only thing worse then the job they did is their poor attitude. This company was contracted by…read moreanother company to complete some chimney work at our condo complex. Specifically new chases and collars on 12 units. They came out and completed the work and everything was good. Until it rained. Two units had leaking inside their chimney stacks. They sent someone out the next day that took pictures and said it wasn't their work. That it must be of sideways rain or the tree next to the units, so we said okay maybe. Then it rained again and again we had leaking. The chimney person came out again and when I asked him what the game plan was for him to address the issues, he said it wasn't his work. That is was the roofer's fault. I explained to him again the leaking and that it was from the chase work. Again he insisted that it wasn't his work. I asked him if he would take a water hose up there and water test it. He told me that it would be an extra charge for that and it wasn't here work. He then proceeded to tell me that he has already been paid for this job and this isn't his problem. I then said to him, I wasn't sure why he wasted his time coming out here if all he was going to do is take pictures again. The roofer game by and first did a water test on the roof. No issues! Then the placed the hose on top of the new chase and the leaking happened again to both units. Roofer said that this company did not seal the chase properly, so they had to remove it and reseal the unit. It rained and it now does not leak. In short, don't hire this company cause they don't ensure their work is correct and are not willing to listen to customers!

I was assured by many people that my homeowner insurance would pay for the repair. Fast forward a little bit. I used the Yelp app to check who can come help me. It gave me 2 additional contractors since primary one failed to respond. Within minutes, I started chatting with Jay F from A+fforable on Yelp app. It took a little effort but really efficient to get it done. I guess it's called "Virtual Consultation" during Covid-19 pandemic. Within 2 hours, I got a quote and secured an appointment. I immediately contacted my insurance agent to start a claim. On my first day meeting Austin for damage assessment, he brought Wilmer to start water mitigation. Austin is the supervisor, as you already know from other reviews. He quickly setup dehumidifier, fan and heavy-duty HEPA air purifier. In the same week, they came back with another helper Juan to perform tear out and sprayed fungicide to kill molds and checking for additional damage. I want to share my experience based on my initial connection before this review gets too long. Next thing is to rebuild my room. Having to wait on my insurance claim approval. In this modern age, hard to find a reliable contractor and someone easy to get alone. I will use A+fforable to help me to get my life back to completion.

We planned to shop around but Javier's price seemed fair so we only got a quote from him. It was neat seeing our gutters being made on site. The guys worked quickly and we were able to utilize the gutters a couple hours after they were installed as the skies opened up. No issues so far. We'd recommend this company.

After a few texts back and forth we scheduled install for June 25th. His guys show up about an hour late, which I didn't mind and they start doing the work. Javier shows up a little while later and says his manufacturer ran out of the regular(silver) leaf guard and he was going to use an upgraded (black) leaf guard on what he was short. He told me it wouldn't be noticeable and you wouldn't be able to tell. We also have a seam in one of the gutters by the back door that isn't sealed properly. Guess what, it sticks out like a sore thumb!! I have reached out to him several times over the past month to see when he could come fix it. I was lucky and talked to him twice and he promised he would come fix it. All texts and voicemails have gone unanswered. Bottom line, we just want it fixed. I don't want to leave negative reviews just to get his attention. It has been 5 weeks since install and I believe we've been patient enough.
