    From beginning to end, our experience with BBQ Renew was top notch. We had some burners that needed replacing on our old Weber grill. Scheduling was a piece of cake. They had someone at our place reasonably quickly and the repair work was done very well. We could not have asked for better service. Two other repair companies we called first flaked out on us. Mike literally put his blood, sweat and tears into this repair. If you have a BBQ issue, just call BBQ Renew!

    Grease left on the concrete in the back yard, down the side yard and the driveway. $575 for mediocre work and a mess.

    I've been living in my home for about two years now and had not used my outdoor BBQ because I was so disgusted with how gross the previous owners left it. I finally had enough and decided to get both the side burners and the main BBQ appliances professionally cleaned. I stumbled across BBQ Renew through a Google search. I liked that they were upfront about their pricing and that they were a family owned business. I decided to contact them through their text message platform and quickly received a response. We were able to schedule a cleaning for the next week. The technician (I believe his name was Chris) arrived and quickly got to work. I appreciated that he brought and used all of his own tools, including a hose and vaccum cleaner, rather than using my hose which he could have easily accessed. Chris worked for over 3 hours and transformed my once horrifying grill into something beautiful. He even took the time to polish the exterior and the doors below. Chris also went the extra mile and vacuumed out the space below the grill as well. He definitely didn't need to take that extra step and I appreciate him so much for helping me out there. I highly recommend this company for anyone needing a little help with their BBQ appliances! Thank you Chris for making me want to use my grill!

    In response to your comment that you have been in business since 2008, see attached photo that depict that BBQ Renew LLC formation date of 10/2013 from California Secretary of State and hence if you subtract current year of 2022 minus year 2013, it makes nine years in business as I truthfully stated in my original review. The simple reference to registration of a domain name of BBQRENEW.com does not mean that you were operating a business; it simply means that you registered a domain name. And if you suggest that you were operating your cash grab operating business from 2008 to 2013, then you must have been operating without any business license as the Orange County recorder has no records of BBQ Renew or BBQ Renew LLC operating in Orange county from year 2008 to 2013 on Orange County FBN site. The first filing for BBQ Renew LLC at OC Recorder office was on 10/2013 and not 2008 as you claim! So if any homeowner is planning to use BBQ Renew LLC for any services, be prepared for lousy job, getting upsell on unnecessary repairs or simply getting ripped off as the operation is extremely shady and unethical. Furthermore this business seems not to be an authorized in repair/retail sale for the majority of brands that are they advertising on the BBQ Renew website. If one pay close attention, majority of positive reviews seems to be from yelpers with 0 to 2 reviews which could be an indication of fake reviews: Maybe some of these reviews are legit and some fake, who really knows! But based on the ownership responses on any negative reviews and that is the only thing that he seems that he is good at, it seems that everyone that complains about his shady business practices is a liar: ) However, it seems that he is the common denominator in all the scams that is happening to homeowners who call him for his shady repair works. So, now that you have been fully exposed on all your shady business practices and scams, say CHEESE and smile on camera rather than typing "Happy Grilling" :)

    **Updated Review** Screenshot of Text from Mike the Owner** I had to reschedule my appointment due to an emergency and Mike the owner told me they had no availability for a month. I then had someone else call and he told them they had availability the next 3 days. I hate canceling on people last minute but life happens and I had no choice. Very unprofessional for him not to work with me on rescheduling. Wish he would have just been honest and told me they wouldn't work with me due to the cancelation. Not sure why he felt the need to lie. I attached a screen shot of the text message I received from Mike the owner. Just the kind I would expect from this type of guy.

I told him I'm still looking around and would approach him if I need help. this guys's name is Ahmed ( sounds like ) When I approached him and had a few questions about the water filter of a fridge specifically where the water filter is located on a certain model of the fridge. he answers back cockingly it should be here where every thing is placed. however when I asked him how to replace it he did not even know how to do it. so I told him I need to know how coz my old fridge I had difficulty changing the filter. he answers back it's not going to be much easier. Thats when I had to say something coz clearly he does not have good customer service. I asked him his name and if I could speak to his manager. His non verbal movement could clearly show he just wants to sell and not even entertain any questions about their products. He makes the excuse that I am new to this branch : department thats why he doesn't know anything about the appliances in that area. He said his only been there 7 months. That made me more frustrated, 7 months and you don't have any idea about how to replace a water filter on a fridge. Anyways , just to share my experience with this sales man

    It was around 7:45pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 when I (Asian customer) stopped in to purchase a WiFi…read moremodem. It was not busy and there were about 3-4 younger guys (different races) standing around talking. It was about 3-4 minutes until a taller man (Caucasian) who greeted me and asked if I had some questions about a WiFi modem. I told him I did and (on his headset) asked if someone could help me out (since he was in the middle of helping a customer). No one came and the 3-4 younger guys were still gathered around talking. When I was within 6 feet of them, they all saw me, but instead of asking me if I needed any help, they asked the Caucasian customer who was leaving if he needed any help. I had the intention of buying a WiFi modem, but they refused service to me and I felt so belittled that I was about to leave. Luckily, the taller man - who just got done assisting a customer - came back and approached me and answered all of my questions. Because of his help, I ended up purchasing the WiFi modem. BTW, there was another Asian customer who did not receive any help, but luckily the taller man acknowledged the customer and helped him outs. Unfortunately I did not catch the taller man's name. I had to write this review because I believe this was a case of blatant discrimination based on my race and the way I looked, especially when they clearly saw me (because I made eye contact with them) and they refused to help me, but acknowledged the Caucasian customer who was leaving. I should have asked for the taller man's name because he was so helpful (5 stars for him) but because the blatant discrimination, I'm giving 1 star.
