When I was concerned about the bill, which turned out to not involve them (long story), the owner came to my house to clarify the issue and offer suggestions for fixing. I had them out to fix the washing machine. I spent $400 to install new damper rods. My tenants called me three months later to inform me that the washer quit working two weeks after the repair. I called ASAP who went back out. They said the damper rods were worn out again. I find that to be impossible because the tenants said it stopped working two weeks after they already put in new rods. Now, $400 later I have to buy a new one. read more

We were having issues with our 12 year old dishwasher and the company we bought it from had a 3 week wait time for repair, so they recommended ASAP Appliance. I called on a Monday, I got an appointment for the next day. They told me they would text me in the to give me an ETA on when the repairman would arrive, and true to their word, I got a text AND the repairman (Lance) arrived within that timeframe! 1st off I apologize for posting an incorrect review. ASAP is a family owned and well trusted appliance repair company. I hope Yelp does not remove this but this is what happened and it's happened to others. I had an appointment or so I thought with ASAP the number I called went to a fraud company. I made an appointment for dishwasher repair. The guy showed up late and came in without any tools of any kind. When I spoke to him I could hardly understand him and he said he was Russian. He didn't touch the dishwasher he looked at it walked around nervously. He was paid a $100 because that was the house call fee. Please stop anyone coming to your house at the door and ask for credentials. Or call the company and describe the person at your door. Don't know what would have happened if he would have been there to rob me. But in a way he did, this is a scam. My jaw dropped when ASAP told me they didn't send out a technician and I didn't have an appointment with them.!!! read more

Read on to see where they charged a 500% markup on parts! I always prefer to use local businesses when I need various services around the home but in the case of ASAP Appliance, I'll expand my search the next time I need appliance service. My 7-year-old Kenmore/LG washer started leaking recently. I called two local shops. The first shop said they couldn't get parts for my machine and suggested I try ASAP. ASAP advised that their minimum charge is $99.00. Scheduled a visit with ASAP. Lance arrived on time and researched the problem as a leaky valve. Estimated cost was $300.00. Was advised that the part would have to be ordered and would take 2-5 days. Paid $200 for the service call and the diagnosis and the estimated cost to complete the repair. A week later ASAP called to schedule the follow-up. Valve replacement took about 10 minutes and the total came to $277.63. The cost of the valve was $91.33. After paying the bill I compared pricing on the web and found the valve at various sites from $18.50 - $23.21. A 500% markup seems excessive to me. I don't mind paying for good service but getting gouged on parts just isn't right. read more

If there was a zero, I would give that. The young lady who took my call was so dim. Oh my! I BEGAN my call telling her this was a stacked full size washer and dryer in a tight space and asking if it was possible to fix. I also said I have only been here two nights and just moved in. OK, throughout the 9 minute call, she asked for the same info I had given. Over and over I began with, "AS I SAID, ..." AND I kept reiterating that it's STACKED in a TIGHT SPACE, and that MAYBE it will take two people to get to it. 9 MINUTES LATER, SHE AGAIN ASKS "Is it in a small space?" and AGAIN I told her YES. She THEN says, "Oh we can't do that right now." I asked, "Right now? Or 'ever'?" And she said "Ever. We can't do that." DEAR GOD. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT NINE MINUTES AGO???????????????????????????????????????? SMH. read more
