I chose the pulled pork plate and was let down a bit by the meat. It was tough to pick out much of a smoky flavor even though you might think the Carolina Gold sauce would accentuate it. The mustard based sauce was a bit sweeter than I'd hoped for, as I'd prefer a bit more tanginess. I got a plentiful helping of cole slaw to accompany the entree and found it to be pretty good, and maybe the best element of my meal was the hash. I think I would've been happy with a plate of just the hash. While my visit wasn't on the hottest of days, the presence of the swirling ceiling fans still made things more comfortable. Seating arrangements are simplistic but definitely suitable for a barbecue joint. Not worth a special trip in my mind, but I would be willing to eat there again. 3.5 stars.
