Came with a nice cooling dill sauce that was so delicious. Took a star away cuz it was super salty but luckily saved by the dill sauce and water. Fried catfish: 4 stars. one of the best batter for fried fish. The batter on top was think and crispy and light so you couldn't taste the oils. Wish they split into 2 or three pieces instead of the jug piece. Because the piece was thick and big the bottom was soggy so minus the one star.

Always survive vibe! Now the food! I personally like to get the same thing every single time I have tried different items but my go to is always going to be the 6 or 10 piece wing basket with the flavor metro sweet hot with blue cheese. I usually switch it up depending if I want french fries or if I want hush puppies both are delicious. The wings are delicious. Everything is delicious. I know that when I'm going to nothing but Wings I will never be disappointed unless it's a Sunday or Monday because they're closed (which they well deserve to have days off ) love yall keep doing an amazing job!

We were in the mood for some wings and didn't think we could do any better tee r than this place. Upon entrance, the restaurant was packed with people but there was no delay in getting seated. Our server was very patience since the menu did seem quite overwhelming, despite knowing we wanted wings. For starters, we tried the firecracker shrimp. The shrimp were delicious which left me longninf for more. They come in a small portion so don't expect to be able to share with more than two people. I opted for a 12 piece, bone-in wings split between the Gamecock and Spicy Parmesan. Both flavors were delicious. The wings were massive and I actually couldn't even finish the meal. This place has some incredible wings with many flavors, plenty of tvs to watch any sport, and seems to get busy so it has a great atmosphere. It took me way too long to try the gold standard of wings in Columbia, but it won't be the last.

This place had me hootin and hollerin this afternoon. The workers made me feel right at home like it was meant to be. I don't know anyone here in Columbia and am just getting to know the area and got recommended. We have a place in my hometown called Hartz Chicken and this rivals it (never thought I'd say it). The entire vibe was giving blue collar worker, families, hard working professionals, my white tail, and all in between. If you haven't gone in here, you're wrong for that. I WILL be back, trust and believe that. Thank you to everyone at Bernie's for being so kind to me and welcoming me not only to South Carolina but to this gem of an eatery.

Definitely one of the top three chicken places in the Cola and surrounding areas! Probably #1 or #2 in most peoples polls.

I was still like "we'll see about that". Parking wasn't too bad. Being that it's on the perimeter of Columbia Mall or what was Columbia Mall, there's parking surrounding the business. It wasn't too packed which was great. We walked in and sat ourselves at a table. The waitress came over and greeted us within a few minutes. I believe they have happy hour in the price of $3 for their house liquors. The drinks are made well. The menu had a bit of a variety and it was hard for me to choose what I wanted because everything seemed like it would be tasty. After placing an order, the salads came out within 10-15 minutes, then the appetizer and right after the entrées. The food was hot. I ordered the egg rolls and the sweet and spicy wings. I wish the appetizer, which were the egg rolls, would have came out sooner as they were warm than hot, but they were good and came with a specialty sauce. It had a light kick but was tasty. The wings were good and hot. The sweet and spicy sauce had a good taste. I wish they were crispier as I requested. The fries were so good! Hot and seasoned well. The salads looked great as well but I did not have those. Their chicken club sandwich looked good as well and my sister said it was delicious!

I arrived to the restaurant let the cashier at the register know I'm here to wait for my order and sat down, expecting maybe 10-15minute more of a wait. The restaurant has quite a few guests all waiting for orders, and more people keep coming to pick up orders, and delivery orders. It's good to see the amount of people placing orders and the number of kitchen staff to try and keep up with the demand. About 30 minutes in I go back up to the register to ask the status on my order and they said my order is finally up on their tickets, I sat for another 15 minutes. In total it took about an hour from sitting at the restaurant for an order that quoted me a 15-20minute pick up window. I don't mind managing my expectation but please quote more realistic wait times, so I know if I'm willing to wait for that amount of time to get an individual order of 6 wings. I think this establishment's crowd does speak to the quality of the business, they're constantly turning over inventory to make orders on the spot, which is appreciated, I'll have to choose a better time to order when perhaps they're not busy? Based on my wait it seems like they may be a bit slower than what I would expect from Wingstop's at other locations I've had in the past.

I ordered the steak fries , because they are hand cut, but to be honest, I wasn't impressed. They were slightly undercooked and not crispy. I decided to try it and, honestly, I'm OBSESSED! It's not as sickening sweet as I expected. It's fruity, but sour, with a an aftertaste of gin.
