When staying at the Mandalay Bay, BBQ Mexicana is a fantastic option if you want a tasty & quick meal that won't break the bank. It's also super close to the Convention Center at Mandalay Bay so could be a good option for all you con-goers. They're actually only open for weekday lunch from 11am to 4pm, so seem to cater to that crowd. Now they are a sister restaurant of Border Grill, run by celebrity chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken, so you can be confident in the deliciousness of what you're getting. I went with their Slow Smoked Brisket tacos which came in a set of two for $11 on flour tortillas. The tacos are a newer addition to their menu in the past year and I'm so thankful for a smaller sized option on their menu! The Smoked Brisket tacos come with cilantro coleslaw, crispy potatoes, mexican cheese, chipotle mayo, and bbq sauce ~ a great combination. Did I mention their chocolate chip cookies are bomb? They sure are and I regret not getting a second one! This surprised me as being one of my favorite lunches when in Vegas recently! I'm a fan and would absolutely get BBQ Mexicana again.

This food is absolutely amazing! However, it is expensive. I got guacamole on the side as well and it cost $11 but it was very very good guacamole. Were they really get you in prices as any of the drinks you buy. The two drinks that you seen in the picture were each six dollars, which was insane. However, I have to admit that the tacos were delicious and so was the guac.

Got their smoked brisket burrito (asked for their BBQ sauce, supposedly sweet sauce on the side). The meat was very flavorful. Friendly service. Was quick to order and get the dish. Because of its location, not many folks get their food there when there's an event in Mandalay Bay convention center. Next time should try avocado chicken dish.

Was staying at Mandalay Bay & finally got to try them. They are only open Monday through Friday from 11 to 4 so very short window of time to try them. I have the barbecue Chicharron they were fresh well seasoned, with both a smoky and sweet taste. The burning burrito may be one of the best burritos I've ever had. It was packed with brisket, so you easily get what you pay for. The brisket was seasoned well and a good smoke taste to it. The rice was seasoned perfectly had the right amount of cheese and it's like a coleslaw that balance perfectly with the brisket. The service was fast and friendly as it was only two people working on a Monday. Will definitely try them again if I'm ever there during the week while they're open.

IMO the BEST grab and go food option in Mandalay Bay!! When the lines and wait times are crazy everywhere else, this place has little to no line thanks to their quick service. I tried the pulled pork burrito and smoked tofu bowl and enjoyed them both. They also have amazing portion sizes and pricing for Vegas!!! Around $14 for a biggg rice bowl or burrito! Not a huge fan of the smoky bbq flavoring they use on all their protein options, but that's just a personal preference (:

We had a trade show here and it was packed all around. Lines for every restaurant. There was also a food court but the choices wasn't great so my coworker and I decided to wonder more to see what is the better choice and deal. Being in the convention doesn't give you much of anything. We stumbled upon this place cause the line was a bit shorter and price was better than what other choices offered. Thankfully we got the bowl so it's less messy than the burrito. The burrito was also kinda small for $13... For 4 bowls and a bbq Chicharron, it came out to be $71. That isn't bad but portion wise it was also small. I ate the chicken "the coop" bowl. It was a bit bland and the chicharron was overly salty. Would I wait for 1 hour to get food here again? Probably not but if you have no other choice, this place is probably your best choice for food.

Wow, great food and service! It's always nice to hear good morning from a store that is appreciative of your patronage!

By far the best lunch I had while at Mandalay Bay for a conference. Line moves fast, took 10-15mins to get my bowl but was worth the wait. There are some high top tables around between BBQ Mexicana and the Border Grill close by, that people would wait at / sometimes eat their bowl or burrito at. The Coop bowl was awesome - great blend of flavors and the chicken was falling apart with my fork, it was so soft and tasty! Would definitely come back for a quick but tasty and filling bite.

While waiting for hotel check in we decided to explore Delano and Mandalay Bay. Location: Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. We arrived fairly early in the morning (9am) so most of the shops and restaurants werent set to open for a couple of hours. After a while we decided we'd chose a place with quick access as we were starving after a 5am flight across time zones. As we set to loop back, we noticed the staff setting up items to begin the morning. At this point, we were able to see the wall menu and decided to give them a try. I don't think any of us expected the quality, freshness and flavor that we received. I pondered for a while but ultimately chose the brisket lover bowl. There was a seasonal margarita, blood orange, which is one of my favorite flavors. Let me tell you it definitely packed a punch!!! I added a chips and salsa trio as well. The bowl was very filling and held me over until the next meal. Nice portion size for the price.

Absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for something to eat quickly. Located in Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, more of the side by the convention center, next to Shark Reef and next to the food court, but not in the food court. I received my food pretty quickly after I ordered. Even though I asked for non-spicy food, the cashier assured me that the meal would not be spicy, IT WAS SPICY. The manager quickly responded and fixed the problem. They remade my order without all the spicy ingredients! The newly made food was delicious! Thank you for accommodating me with this! Keep it in mind that this place is not a sit down restaurant! There are no tables and chairs, only one table with few, maybe 3-4 bar seats. I would definitely eat here again!

This is good for what it is - fast casual BBQ on the Las Vegas Strip. My Burnt Ends Burrito was packed full of burnt ends, cheeses, potatoes, coleslaw and more. I did not leave hungry. I wish the meat had more smoke. I also think this is probably a personal preference.

Decided to try out BBQ Mexican at the Allegiant stadium and it wasn't my favorite. The burrito was ok. My tortilla was soggy and the flavors weren't all there. The best part of BBQ Mexican was the bbq chicharrones. Those were good. I would go back just for them to snack on while watching the game

The location is great and the interior is so pretty and relaxing. Alexis was super attentive and an excellent host. I loved how they maximized the seating which gives privacy in an open space. Don't let the name fool ya, I didn't experience any "Mexicana" flavors but the food was ok. I ordered the smoked brisket burrito. It was a wild ride. I wasn't expecting the flavors that the burrito presented and was a bit overwhelmed. The brisket was seasoned but a wee dry and the coleslaw was a yummy unexpected crunch with the papas. And the salsa was good on its own, but IMO but didn't serve the combo of flavors well. Overall, the food was ok but for me and my palette, there were too many dimensions and flavors that did not play fair together. They also have an assortment of Jarritos and I'd never had the guava flavor before. That was such a great choice. Would I visit again - no. But if asked about it I'd definitely suggest a try but not to expect a "Mexican" taste.

Definitely recommend going when they first open because otherwise it doesn't matter the time or day of the week, the lines are extremely long! The longest lines are definitely the asada and adobada (pork)! Once you reach the front of the line, you just tell the staff which and how many of the item you want, as well as any customizations to it. After you get your order, you just head to the cashier line and paying is so easy and convenient! Pricing is reasonable. - Tacos, tostadas, taco aztecas - $4.12 - Sopes, quesadillas, vampiras, & mulas - $7.54. - fries with meat - $22.18+ - soft drinks - $3.31 Arrived at 11am on Sunday and it was already super crowded. Stood in the asada line for at least half an hour but the wait was so worth it! Got 3 Asada Tacos and the tortilla was so soft, hot, and fresh. It was stuffed with plenty of tender beef! The beef was packed with flavor and marinated so well! The pico de gallo was so delicious, as well as the salsa and guac. The Horchata was ok and nothing special since it wasn't made from scratch like the phenomenal tacos! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and my food. Definitely would recommend and return!
