Not bad at all. Very old place with smaller environment than most similar type restaurants, but they can seat under 90 people capacity inside. Nothing fancy. Casual family style dining. It's located at the far right corner side of Greenland Supermarket plaza, so there's plenty of public parking spaces. Forgot what used to be located here. BBQ Garden has traditional Chinese BBQ meat items, noodles, rice plates, and casual dinner meals. Service is slow as there is usually one server during lunch hours on weekdays. No lines and no huge crowds. Great takeout orders. Honestly, food is tasty good and generous in portions. They speak Cantonese & Mandarin Chinese languages. Chefs are experienced. Staffs may be still learning or new. We had plain wonton yellow noodles plus wonton flat noodles with BBQ duck. Delicious with lots of noodles. Shrimps were fully packed inside the wontons just the way we like it. They didn't have red vinegar, but black vinegar is ok too. Noodles had a few pieces of veggies in it. Looks decent, especially for cheap lunch happy hour special prices. What a bargain for noodle bowls around $11-$13 per order. Had a pot of hot jasmine tea with the meal. Nothing much stands out, but at least we know they have porridge and other rice plates available. Pay with cash to get cheaper total bill price. They do accept credit cards though. Not bad for this type of small business with good tasting foods. At these prices, duck was super delicious and authentic. read more

TLDR: just go, if you enjoy authentic wok hei filled Chinese food you won't regret it. - I went with my family of seven and there were plenty of tables. I was very skeptical because I thought I had already found the best Chinese food in town but was convinced to give this spot a try and we were not disappointed. Each dish was very well portioned probably by far the biggest I've seen these days. Everything was delicious. My favorite were the spare ribs with the sweet and slightly sour glaze. Very nice and friendly staff. The city is completely oversaturated with very average Chinese food but this one really hits close to home. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious too. Easy to find parking. The only thing I would say is that with these types of restaurants please do not expect the staff to be as welcoming as you would expect from other restaurants of different cuisines. The food is really the star of the show here and service is very basic, taking order and maintaining water levels which is all I need. read more

Food is fantastic. Triple meat plate of soy sauce chicken bbq pork and roast pork was out of this world tasty. Fills the cravings for home cooking from SF. They also made us an off menu item: Chinese beef stew over chow fun with gravy. yum yum!service was great and we didn't come for the ambience, so the place met our expectations. Booths for 4 and several tables for 8 people seemed adequate. Gotta come back for more. read more

BBQ Garden - This is the delicious triple meat platter - Cantonese Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Fantastic authentic cantonese food is found here. Typical decor for a Cantonese style eatery in the US, the flavor is unparalleled. I judge a "cantonese"' place by two things. Wonton noodle soup and roasted duck. They are both wonderful. I will be coming back soon to take mom and dad for a taste of home. read more

I know there's always been a stigma of Asian people being rude but the female server at this place brings it to another level. I know I'm Not Chinese but love good Chinese food. The Chinese bbq is ok here but when the server keeps rolling her eyes whenever I ask for something like a coke or soy sauce or just as simple as 1 person for a dine in then I don't know what to say but I can say I feel not welcomed or appreciated as a customer so you guessed it I'll never set foot in this establishment ever again. I'd rate it a big fat zero if I could. read more

I love wonton noodle soup so decided to give this new spot a try. The wonton noodle broth and texture of the wontons is not as good as Asia BBQ/New Asia BBQ or Win Kee unfortunately. The broth and the wontons were underseasoned. The duck also seemed under seasoned and I noticed they microwaved the duck before they brought it our table. However, there was a very generous portion of duck. The beef brisket and tendon however was flavorful and tasty. Service tad slow since it's a mom and pop shop and limited staff. I saw some of the other Cantonese dinner dishes ordered by other tables and they seemed promising. I would give this place another try for other dishes, just not the wonton noodle soup. read more

This restaurant seems to have a good selection of Chinese food which is why I give 2 stars. However I got sick from their heavy MSG use. My husband is Chinese and my in laws live with us. We decided to do takeout from here and we ordered a few different dishes. I got the scrambled eggs with shrimp plate which is something we make on a normal basis and it actually tasted good. However, I quickly felt a bit ill with nausea stomach upset and a headache which lasted two days. I'm glad I didn't feed my 3yo much of that food. It's a shame. What prompted me to write this review is because my father in law ordered takeout the following day and him and my husband also ended up sick. People should be aware. read more

Worst place i have ever try to eat at. Enter the property and waited 5mins then had to approached the counter to ask to be seated, was told to sit anywhere that a available. There was only a couple tables available, the rest was still cover with plates from customers the had finished and left. Waited at one empty booth for more then 10min without any acknowledgement of a customer sitting and waiting to placed an order. I approached the counter once again and ask if they were taking customers? She said I might be coming soon. I have never been so miss treated at a restaurant in my life. Will never endorsed such a place ever!!!!!!! read more

Excellent genuine chinese food. The fatty pork with mustard green was on point. Soy sauce chicken has great flavor and very juicy. My favorite was shrimp and scramble eggs. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and large. My wife love all three vegetable dishes. The on choy, string beans and the water crest. Oh and the char Shui is very good. The only thing was it took a little longer to get the food out. We were fine with that because we weren't in a rush. Decor is nothing fancy. The important thing is the dining area is clean and the food is good at a great price. Would definitely come back and try the other dishes next time. read more

The BBQ is disappointed and soy sauce chicken are dry. But they do have a large menu, may be other is better.

What's new in the Chinatown area? This place, BBQ Garden. Located in Korea Town Plaza it's only been open for 2 weeks and apparently it used to be a vegan place. Based on only one 5-star review on Yelp (thank you for your review stranger) and the menu on their website, we said sure why not, let's try it and we're glad we did! This Cantonese style restaurant didn't disappoint. We were greeted right as we entered and with a friendly sweep of a hand was offered an open table. INTERIOR: The restaurant is average in size with 3 large round tables that fit 10 people on one side, about 5 booths to seat 4 on the opposite side and tables down the middle that can seat 4 or pushed together for larger groups. FOOD: There were so many items on the menu that we wanted to try and only so much belly room, this what we ended up ordering - * BBQ Pork/Char Siu. It was juicy with the perfect balance of savory and sweet. Not one piece was dry or jaw tiring chewy. We gobbled it up in no time, the kids loved it. * Sizzling Short Ribs. The sizzling cast iron hot plate is a must, not just because it's fun but for the tantalizing aromas and the char it gives the meat when left to sizzle and cool to the point where you're able to eat it. This dish was another hit. * Roasted Pork Chow Fun. I was out voted on this one, 3 to 1, the family enjoyed it, I thought it was okay. The roasted pork was divine but felt it could use more than what was given, found myself searching for more roast pork morsels. Husband said he enjoyed the flavors of the wok on the noodles. * Sautéd Chinese Greens w/Garlic Sauce. A classic veggie dish, gotta get them greens in. This is always a favorite in our family. We took home the leftovers and are already planning what to order next time. There's the other BBQ meats, clay pot dishes, whole sole (fried or black bean)...so many things we want to try. There's a lot of places to choose from for Chinese food but definitely put this one on your list. TL/DR: Great new Cantonese restaurant next to Greenland Korean supermarket. Highly recommend. read more

The day I went, the bbq pork was rock hard, and so was the roast duck. I guess I went on the wrong day, I will try again next time

A pathetic excuse of a Cantonese restaurant. I think I would rather grab Panda Express than return here again-and as a Cantonese person, that is saying a lot about this food establishment. This place is perfect for you if you enjoy piss-poor service and waiting 30 minutes for overly salted food! We (three people) ended up paying $80 for four dishes but we wish we hadn't. This place is not worth that much. We ordered the beef chow fun, claypot with fish fillet and tofu, sweet and sour fish fillet, and the house special combination with chicken, crispy roasted pork, and roast duck. Now, the beef chow fun is usually my favorite Cantonese dish but it was OVERLY salted to the point I could not finish it. The claypot with fish fillet and tofu was okay-not great, just okay. It was salty too but this was the only dish we completely finished. The sweet and sour fish fillet was actually the best of all the dishes we ordered. We ended up taking this dish to-go. No complaints about this dish. The house special combination, however, oh boy... The roasted pork was literally burnt on the bottom and most pieces had tiny pieces of aluminum stuck on it. Similar theme as all the other dishes, the roasted pork is as salty as the sea. The roast duck was pretty okay, and the chicken was okay too. Portion size is not worth the $24 but what can we do about it now? read more

Oh my goodness. I have never waited for food longer than this. It legit took almost 45 minutes for our food to come out. Service was also rude. Food wasn't good. I saw them microwaving our bbq platter (duck/roast pork/chicken)... I didn't understand why they were microwaving it? It didn't taste fresh and had an interesting smell. I was excited to try this new place out but unfortunately I won't be back. Hopefully they figure things out where food will come out in a timely manner and taste will improve. read more

pretty decent food, service was fine and the place is clean. Had their wonton noodle and it was pretty good

Food is good as any other Chinese restaurant in town. Size of the food is enormous big. We got braised Tofu/ vegetable dish. ( as expected ).we also ordered 3 bbq dish with Roasted duck/ soy sauce chicken/ bbq pork. I loved the soy sauce chicken. We tasted beef on sizzling pan ( very tasty). We had stir fry On Choy. Went for dinner we were seated and we waited about 35 mins for them to take our order. I asked for tea she looked at the other table talked in her language then pointed at my table and laughed. As we waited for our food 45 more mins has passed. The Lady that was sitting at the other table, Asked the waitress if our food was ready. She looked at them and said yes its at the waiting station to be served. Thanks to her we got our food. Food was ok Mongolian beef was awesome. The rest of our food was cold. Over all i would never go back there and to top it all off i may not look Chinese but I'm 40% blood. I been eating Chinese my whole life and this is the first time to be treated like this. If your Chinese have a great time here. If your not well good luck. And i was not looking for Panda read more
