This is THE most popular restaurant in Fort Wayne among my friends and family local to the area and after MONTHS of hearing about it, I finally got to try BB for myself last night when we ordered takeout. So I am sure this review will need an update when I eventually go and dine-in. As for the takeout experience, everything was wrapped up carefully and put in high-quality plastic containers. Also, everything was very clearly labeled which is very appreciated! Once we portioned everything out, we dug on in! Between the 3 of us, we ordered 3 different kinds of paneer entrees, 1 chicken dum biryani, 2 vegetable samosas, 1 coconut naan, 1 butter naan, and 1 chana masala. Our orders also included 3 cups of rice. I tried everything but my personal order was the chicken biryani (1000/10 rating!) and the coconut naan. I was the only non-vegetarian among us so I got the chicken dish all to myself! All 3 paneers were great, but the best was the slightly sweet paneer manchurian dish! The saag paneer was a bit too goop-y to be a favorite of ours. The vegetable samosas were crispy and not excessively oily. My coconut naan was a great sweet naan, covered in a LOT of coconut flakes! And like I mentioned before, the chicken biryani is a must try! The picture doesn't show it, but underneath the first layer of rice are two big hunking thighs of delicious chicken! I can see why this is considered not only the best Indian restaurant in FW, but one of the best restaurants in the area! I am looking forward to dining in and getting a mango lassi! read more

First time trying BB's Indian Kitchen tonight, with friends who chose our dining spot. Had no idea what to expect, but the aromas that hit us as we walked thru the door were amazing! The four of us shared the Paneer Manchurian appetizer. Fried chucks of paneer in a sweet and sour and spicy manchurian sauce. Deee-Licious! Our friend ordered the Butter Chicken, two hubbies both ordered Kadhai Chicken. These savory, flavorful entrees were uniquely sauced and served with rice as a side. I ordered the absolutely-delicious-highly-recommend Chicken Tikka Kebab, which is served with a simple yet delicious salad of healthy greens instead of rice. This is the only entree I remembered to photograph (oops!) and is pictured below. And should you go, make sure you order one of their tandoor oven baked, shouldn't miss, Naan breads to accompany your meal. Yum! Ambience is average. Layout is minimally altered from years ago when this site was Atz's. Service was excellent! BB's is family owned and the team clearly works nicely together. They offer both dine-in and their very popular carry out, with to-go menus just inside the door. Will definitely return! As the Fort Wayne food scene continues to expand and evolve, another excellent option has entered the picture. My wife and I finally got the chance to try BB's on Anthony.....I'm old enough to remember that building being an ATZ's ice cream parlor.... The place was quite busy with customers eating in and take out orders. We were seated promptly and given expansive menus to review. The servers were always in movement and seemed attentive to their customers. We started with the Samosa and Paneer Manchurian. Both came out piping hot and fresh tasting. Being gluten free, my wife went with the butter chicken and I had the chicken tikka masala with a side of coconut naan. Both were excellent dishes and the sauce was velvety smooth. I went with medium spice and my wife went with low spice. While waiting, we saw several interesting dishes being served at nearby tables. Great experience! The masala dosa plate is a really good deal. We also tried the Paneer Tikka Masala which was not too bad either but I think they really shine in the South Indian dishes. The garlic naan was pretty good as well. Service was quick. The restaurant has a lot of seating, so I'd say it's probably good for bigger groups of people. We've been to BB's a couple times now and it's been superb every time but this visit was especially memorable... 'Twas late night before closing and the crowd had all gone, We'd ordered our food and a side of their naan, Our first item came it was Dosa Masala, Its size was surprise thought it's s'posed to be smaller, But oh my oh my dosa crisp, inside pasty, The textures so perfect, the flavor so tasty. And just minutes later our food came in bowls, The service was stellar and waters stayed full, With her butter chicken and my chettinadu, One bite and I'm smitten, know I would say "I do", Wedding the spices with savory notes, Greatest all time because I got the GOAT, We've been here thrice and her order's the same, Mild butter chicken but ain't nothing tame, Bursting with flavor and hard to put down, Coupled with rice that's the best in the town. The food was amazing! Wonderful flavors. I ordered the goat curry-fantastic! The lamb and butter chicken-also delicious according to my family! One of my favorite Indian restaurants and we live an hour away. Worth the drive. My husband surprised me for my birthday dinner with all my kids and grandkids-17 total. The service was over the top! What an incredible meal we had here!! We started with the Gobi Manchurian (my new culinary obsession!) and Samosas, and then enjoyed the Malabar Fish Curry (so creamy and nicely spiced) and Chicken Tikka Masala with rice, butter naan and roti. We have eaten Indian food in NYC, London, DC and many other places and this gem of a restaurant has never disappointed us! We come every time we are in Fort Wayne, which is a lot for my husband's work. We bring our children who are 2 and 1 and they are always so welcoming! Our daughter loved the paneer and our son ate all of tomato soup! We really enjoyed the lamb korma and paneer tikka masala! At the end of the meal the waitress brought out a little bit of mango lassi for each kid and they loved it! We cannot recommend this place enough! Delicious food and an amazing staff! read more

This restaurant is relatively new to this area. We ordered samosas for starters, and they were quite tasty. Sadly, the other items that we ordered while tasty they were not what I would call exceptional. The curries seemed more watery than what I prefer and am accustomed to, the flavors weren't especially distinctive and the dishes tended to taste slightly sugary. I did have a chai that was delicious. Overall kind of hit and miss service wasn't bad, but wasn't exactly well. Ordered there seem to be a bit of confusion amongst the servers. I am hopeful that this restaurant will improve overtime. Otherwise they may not last. read more

Years ago I went to Dhaba in manhattan and thought for sure I'd never have Indian food that was that good again. Thankfully I was wrong! BB's is absolutely incredible. The samosas are flaky, buttery and full of flavor. Ultimate comfort food. The gobi fry is crispy, spicy and such a great snack. The butter chicken has layers of flavor you don't get anywhere else. Plus the rice is amazing ! The garlic naan is pretty good. Slightly too crispy/crackery for me but still sooooo good. It bubbles on top. What a delicious meal. Can't wait to go back. This is the ONLY authentic Indian restaurant in Fort Wayne. The food was delicious and flavorful. Better than some of the other places I've tried in both Indy and Chicago. So glad to see a lot of people enjoying this restaurant and the service has been great! The ambiance is like a little diner, but they're keeping it clean and tidy. I've ordered almost everything out of the menu over the few times I visited, and they have been consistently excellent! Hands down the best Indian restaurant within 200 miles radius of Fort Wayne.
