The owner took the time to introduce himself, tell us about how street food is served in India, about his background in food service, the need for authentic Indian groceries and recipes in the area and so much more! He was please we wanted to try several items on the menu. He said he was so happy that we enjoyed the food. And we did! It was so good. The others in my party can handle spicy food but I can't and he was so kind. They make everything from scratch to order so you can get everything without the "spice". He changes the menu frequently so we can try new things - which is great! and the prices were so reasonable - especially lately it seems like prices are going up all around. The ambiance isn't what you would expect of a regular sit down restaurant but that's OK! The food is worth it. I wish there was at least some tamarind for sourness present. The Samosa Chaat was a little spicy but still lacked the flavor we wanted. The size between both was also very different. I don't want to judge quickly so I do want to try the other chaats.
