Today bbq chicken in Dublin opened! We are very excited and went there and got dinner! The cashier (Nanami) who greeted us was friendly and helpful too! We ordered soy garlic wings, cheeseling boneless chicken, rose pasta, and ramen. Soy garlic wings: 4.5/5 very delicious with juicy chicken and flavorful sauce over the crispy batter. Cheeseling boneless: 3.5/5 it's very good but slightly drier than the wings. Cheese is not my favorite flavor though and can use more cheesy powder on it. Rose pasta: 3/5 I thought it was good, and worth trying; but I also had better ones elsewhere. Ramen: 2.5/5 the soup is a bit weak in taste and ramen noodles texture got soft quickly. A few other things unrelated to food: the interior AC was a bit too strong, and the wait time was also longer than normal, as we waited 50 mins for all our food to be ready. I also noticed that the line of customers ended up in between the tables when it go long. It's their first day so it's natural that adjustments still need to be made, and I am very happy that they are now in Dublin. I am looking forward to going back again and be impressed. read more

I wasn't even able to enjoy my lunch because it took them so long to make it. The server was very nice, but please don't tell people their food will be out in five minutes when in reality it's going to be more like 45 minutes. I've tried the chicken at their San Jose location and have been hooked since. I was so happy when I saw the signage come up initially and so glad they're here in Dublin now (I CAN GET EM CLOSER NOW!). My cousin called in for a pick up order since the online ordering system was a little weird, wouldn't let us select a flavor for the chicken or add to cart. For a Saturday night, I do expect things to be a bit busy... but when we got there, they were just missing 1 item from our order for about 30mins. Granted there were a lot of to-go bags sitting and people just trickling in to get them, so do expect a wait for to-go orders for a busy night. The place itself looked very clean and staff just busy on the go. I cannot get enough of the Secret Sauce and the Gangnam Style, Soy Garlic and Honey Garlic too; an order of Golden Original is needed too... specifically to go with their Rosé Ddeok-Bokki/ Tteokbokki. As much as I also love wings, their boneless option is such a hearty piece that I have to at least have one with each order. Overall, I honestly don't have anything but good to say about the chicken, here and the SJ location - I've always had good orders, perfectly crispy and sauces as I would expect. As for the Rosé Ddeok-Bokki/ Tteokbokki, I wish I can just order the sauce alone to dip with Golden Original chicken... it's the perfect combo of creamy, flavorful and a little bit of spice! Final Thoughts: It can be a bit expensive here when ordering a few items, but I see it worth as an occasional treat for a delicious hearty meal. Decided to try a newish Korean place in Dublin based on positive reviews and a fan of their chicken. It is located at an old Starbucks location with a small lot and some street parking. The dining area was clean, with a utensil station on the right of the cashier, and sizable dining area with nice ambiance. They even have dining gloves for those extra messy sauces. Placed an order to go with nice service and they dropped it off at our waiting table. The two of us ordered the Ddeok-Bokki rice + fish cakes & Galbi boneless chicken with fries + drink lunch combo. The Ddeok-Bokki was very flavorful and rich with a little kick of spice, had a nice chewy texture, and strands of cheese playing tug of war between the fork and bowl. The Galbi chicken was very savory, sweet, crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, huge, well battered pieces, with an abundance of Galbi sauce blanketing each. The fries were nicely coated and crisp. The portions of each dish were filling and could easily be divided into two meals if you split them in half. Note that the Lunch Combos R ate only available during weekdays. Overall, a wonderful 1st impression. We will be back to try more. This was my first time to buy a to go meal in this new location . The young male staff insisted that I should sit down and wait even though I was not hungry. I needed a to go order. I later switched it to a coke and I took out my own ice water in my thermo . Food came out in 5 minutes , not 15 minutes as the staff mentioned . The boneless chicken is the only choice for lunch combo . The chicken was marinated to perfection. Inside was juicy and very tender ! However , the coating was kind of " wet "and not crispy . May be this is the Korean style . I was able to eat only 1 piece and I took the rest home and another box for the onion rings. I waited 5 minutes to air out the food before I boxed them . It took me 30 minutes to go home but the bottom of the boxes pm were all wet . It was strange that fried chicken had so much water content . I have had Korean fried chicken in Southern California. I don't recall that they are so" wet " . The taste of the chicken was excellent , not too salty and not too blank , just hit the spot! However, a few bites of the boneless chicken had a strange taste ( kind of like chicken hormones taste but I was not sure ) . It tasted like that in some bites and none in other bites . I would return to try the wings with bone next time . This place is very clean and nicely decorated. It has wide glass window to overlook the street . Plenty of parking near by . Service is good and they are helpful . Inside temperature was warm. It was around 11:45 am . I think they should open the doors to get better ventilation. I visited the bathroom. It was just been cleaned and mopped. But they did not dry it with towels or use the mopping pad to dry it . It was very slippery and I could see thin layer of water . First off, the chicken here are amazing!!!!! My favourite flavour of sauce is Gangnam style bec it is not crazy spicy it is a good blend of spicy and semi sweet. I prefer boneless for myself so all my orders have always been that. Today, I'm ordering the secret sauce. I'm hoping that's good too. The prices here are very reasonable. The servings are huge. The small size can be for 2 people so for $17.99 that's just 10/person. You can't beat it! The pickled radishes here are really good and they give you a fair amount. More than BonChon. Thought I've never eaten here, because my orders are all take away, the place is always clean and comfortable. The cashiers are knowledgeable and can describe the food very well.
