My entire family has been with South Hadley adult medicine for about seven years, with my husband…read moreand son regularly, seeing Dr. Faye and my daughter and myself seeing Teresa Lind. We have had nothing short of amazing, personalized, and caring attention from both Dr. Faye and Teresa Lind, weather routine physicals, an illness, office visit or a few things that quite frankly were more serious. They are absolutely wonderful, as our the nurses, who always call back with guidance the same day, if not within hours of my message. I don't write tons of reviews, but know how frustrating and disheartening. It can be to look for a good GP, haven't gone through that myself eight years ago. Thank heavens we landed at South Hadley adult medicine - I cannot recommend highly enough.

After a positive blood test for Lupus, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Demello, a…read morerheumatologist in his Enfield office. His approach was spectacular--first he listened, then he explained. I do not have Lupus. To be sure, sure, sure, he ordered three more blood tests, and they confirmed no Lupus. I am grateful for his holistic approach to me as a person, and to my condition and symptoms. I was also impressed with his office medical assistant, Tina, who was kind, professional and attentive, on a busy day. You will be in good hands with this rheumatologist, who looks at the big picture, but keeps the patient's own feelings and intuitions as an important component of his diagnosis.

This place is great! Everyone is nice and helpful. The doctor I had was truly amazing. He would explain everything in detail and he would even go over my tests with me and explain the results. I like how there's an in house lab here so you can get your blood work done there. It was easy to make an appt here. A nice little doctors' office!!!

I understand some doctors can be arrogant or egotistical but, Dr. Shah has reached this pinnacle…read morewith an extra heavy dose of smugness to boot. He was dismissive, aloof and over the top patronizing. I'm no expert in this field but, I'm having a difficult time believing that after getting my upper arm sliced open on both sides has led me to have carpal tunnel syndrome. He is convinced that my nerve pain, which only started after being brutally injured and spending two weeks in the ICU has nothing to do with the nerve pain I'm experiencing. Dr. Shah was snarky and beyond rude. He literally gave me a pat on the back which felt like an adult patting a child on the head. What an awful experience. If you are someone that enjoys being belittled and probably misdiagnosed, then I highly recommend Dr. Shah!

Dr. Fanti has been my dad's primary care doctor for at least five years and before Dr. Fanti came on to the practice, Dr. Egelhofer was his doctor. They've both been great and so has the entire practice. They are extremely patient with my dad and me, his caretaker, and always get back to us with answers to any questions we have. Dad also appreciates the extra service they have where someone checks in with him via telephone once a month to see how he's doing and then reports to Dr. Fanti. Dad feels very well taken care of and I agree with that assessment. Good folks, great service.
