We went in to watch a game there that day and luckily enough they had live music playing afterwards which was fun. The atmosphere in there was simple, down to earth and cozy. It seemed like there were a lot of regulars there based on the interactions with the staff. Staff were nice and our order came out at a decent time. Food itself was good! We ordered the fish and chips. Honestly really liked the batter on the fish and the fries as well! Also got a french onion soup and this other dish that had a longer wait time but was worth it if you like a good beef stew with mashed potatoes! It was all delicious and I would recommend this place if you're in Orillia.

My sister in law was able to make reservations for 11am, and they don't take reservations, but they were kind enough to do that for us (group of 14). At 11am there was already a long line of people waiting, but since we had reservations, we were able to walk ahead to be seated right away. We were greeted by our waiter, and he asked what drinks we would like, once he came back we were ready to order. I got the Ultimate Rama Breakfast and mr. Tran got himself the steak and home fries. Took about 15-20 mins for our orders to all arrive. My plate was big and I wasn't able to finish my pancake and the pea meal bacon (too salty for me). My toddler and I shared everything else. I had a piece of the steak and it was okay, it had a beefy aftertaste that I don't really like, but mr. Tran enjoyed it. Everything was paid for on my mother in laws Rama club points card as she accumulated a lot of points, so breakfast was basically free and we just put in tips for the amazing server.

**A True Hidden Gem in Orillia **…read more As we were passing through Orillia, we decided to stop into **Theo's Restaurant** for a bite to eat--and I'm so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and brought to our table with such genuine hospitality. The space is spotless, intimate, and beautifully styled, creating the perfect atmosphere for a cozy meal. The menu is filled with wonderful Greek and Italian options, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The bruschetta was outstanding, and the veal parm was perfection. The food alone is worth the visit, but the service truly elevated the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, giving us that small-town connection where we didn't feel like "just customers." We also noticed the same level of care at the tables around us--clearly, this is how they treat everyone who walks in. Theo's is definitely a place I'd stop at again on my next trip back. And for anyone who lives in Orillia, it's a wonderful spot for a family celebration, a special date night, a relaxed dinner out, or even a business meeting. **Five stars all the way. The Theo family has done an incredible job.** Anja Lavigne ( Toronto/Kwarthas )
