Credit card machine was down and had to pay cash. Okay,. Not okay: Very specific unform instructions "crease all sleeves following the exact center point of arm patch" were not followed and there are as many as 3 creases on each sleeve of 7 uniform shirts, none of which are where I requested them to be. We can redo it but not until Friday is not an answer when I specifically came to this cleaner on a Tuesday because of next day service promised by person answering phone. Can't issues cash refund because the person who approves them is not physically in the room, ummmmm, ever used a phone before? This cleaner lost what would have been a loyal weekly customer who will be sure to steer other folks away. I am not a tourist just passing through. read more

I'm not satisfied at all with the service I received from this company! I don't recommend this company to anyone, ever! I took 5 long panel curtain sheers and 4 drape panels (which have beads hanging from the top of them) into to Bayside cleaners to be cleaned. I dropped them off on the morning of Aug. 24th. When I was there, I asked for an estimated cost and they didn't give even an idea of how much I had to spend. They said they send them to someone else to be cleaned and when they get them back, that's when they know the cost. They had me sign a damage waver that states that if anything is damaged or the beads might come off, that they are in no way accountable for the cost of any of the damage. If you don't sign it, then they don't do the work. I understand that they can do that and I was ok with it. But had I know what was going to happen in the end I never would have taken them to this company to be dry cleaned. The tag I was given said that I could pick them up any time after August 28th. I was busy with work and couldn't get to the cleaners then. The company didn't call me at all during that time to even tell me they were done and could be picked up, just as a courtesy. I called on Sept. 6th and they said they were done. When I went to pick them up, they handed me my sheers all nice and neat on the hanger. I gave them a once over and they looked great. I asked how much it came to and they said $52. Their credit card machine was down and I paid the $52 in a check. Then as I was headed out I realized she didn't give the curtains with the beads. I asked about them and then she said that she was sorry but they weren't able to do the curtains because of the beading. So she didn't charge me for them. Wow! $52 for 5 long sheers and that's it. That's almost what I paid for the sheers from Bed Bath and Beyond. Then I watched her grab an orange bag off the floor and get my curtains out of them and stuff them in a trash bag and hand them to me. The curtains were not folded in the orange bag but wadded up. The curtains were wrinkled worse then when I had dropped them off. When I returned home I took the sheers off the hanger and unfolded them and to my astonishment they had holes in the fabric and were wrinkled as if the iron had been up too high. I was mad! There was nothing that I could do about it. Nothing!!! I guess I will just wash my curtains with the beads by hand and steam them myself. Which I don't really have time for. Ugh! I think its a blessing they didn't touch the other curtains. I wish I could post pictures because that would be better. read more
