Late night date night here was an amazing choice ! Located across margaritaville down by celebration an 192. Loved the recommendations and what they had to offer. This spot is something special. The food is fantastic. The service is VERY good. The resturaunt is clean. The decor is really futuristic. I will say, the whole experience was wonderful. The menu is several pages, with lots of options. There are plenty of ramen bowls and many different sushi rolls. I had the seaweed salad and it was great! I also had the edamame and it was super garlicy and spicey, so good and fresh and flavorful! We also shared a plate of the fried tofu. It was very soft and tender. It practically melted in your mouth. The only downside was the lack of vegetarian options. One of the people in our party said they did see a vegetarian roll. I didn't see that, but still with a multiple page menu- to only have one option was pretty disappointing. Having said all that, the experience was positive. I've visited this location twice now - once with my entire family, then a second time on New Year's Eve with my husband. Both times, the food was gorgeously staged, mouth-watering, and there was still plenty for leftovers. Our most recent visit had great service from our waitress, but the wait times for raw sushi items were a little excessive, even for it being a holiday. We ended up waiting over an hour for some raw salmon - I will say that the manager and waitress were super attentive to this without us even saying anything, so I appreciate that they acknowledged the craziness. We ordered the Salmon Lover as an appetizer to split because there's nothing better than salmon! I also ordered the King of the Ocean, a lobster-based cooked sushi roll that comes out in this huge pieces - good luck trying to look good eating this in front of a date Seriously the best sushi roll I've ever had though, and surprisingly holds up INCREDIBLY well as leftovers. To pair it, I ordered a side of fried rice (which as a disclaimer, does not exist apparently, so they charge you for the kids fried rice - $11). Not amazing, but if you add a LOT of soy sauce to it, it's pretty good. We love this restaurant but really were disappointed with the consistent kitchen timing issues. According to our amazing waiter, Ricky, this was going to be our new favorite sushi spot and he was not lying! I ordered a pink paradise and it was so refreshing. For sushi, we ordered a mix of cooked and raw, we did the foxy lady (raw), wave rider (cooked), and hamachi hero (raw). Each one Had a little bit of spice from the infused wasabi/kimchi in the hamachi hero to the actual sauce on the wave rider. I literally loved each roll and can't pick a favorite. I can honestly say this was a very awesome experience. For starters, we ordered some mixed drinks the calamari, and truffle waygu. The drinks were good. The calamari was better. And the Waygu was awesome sauce. Check out the video. For mains we ordered Kuni salad, some sushi rolls and curry ramen. The portions were good for the price, especially the rolls we ordered: spicy tuna, avocado roll, salmon skin roll without eel sauce and make your own roll, tuna, avocado with spicy mayo. The sushi was both affordable, fresh and delicious. The venue is grand, opulent and chic. It wasn't gaudy in my opinion, but there was a good amount of neon and black lacure, so there is that. Not a place I would frequent every week, but certainly a few times a year, or even once a month. Especially if only to get sushi. The sushi for me was the highlight of the experience. I saw this place on my social media and immediately knew I had to check this place out. I live in celebration so this place is just down the road from me. It's easy to find via GPS and there is plenty of parking. The interior is very aesthetic and there are lots of photo opportunities. There was even a photographer walking around taking pictures of people at their tables (and selling paper framed pics for $20) and gave us a free print to take home which was a nice touch. The menu was extensive and offered a variety of different options for sushi and drinks. We ordered 3 rolls, an appetizer and a dessert as well as some sparkling sake. Bayridge Sushi is a bombardment of the senses. With a lively atmosphere and some of the largest sushi rolls and most extravagant entrees I've seen at a Sushi restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious, but the service was slow and honestly pretty bad considering the restaurant was not even 2/3rd full. The salmon lover we split as an appetizer, alongside crab Rangoons and gyoza. All were excellent. I really loved my Mad Max and Crunch Salmon rolls. They were ridiculously large and I definitely won't make the mistake of ordering more than one roll next time. I also had a bite of my wife's King of the Ocean roll. It was absolutely incredible, one of the best rolls I've ever had. And I would hope so, at a staggering $27! But the presentation and quality here made it worth it. Unfortunately the side of fried rice was truly bland and the service and atmosphere was less than stellar. There was an extremely loud table of small children and adults running around behind us that couldn't be helped, but even so, it felt impossible to hear each other most of the evening due to the warehouse like design of the space. Went to Bayridge sushi because it was hyped up on social media and it looked cool in the photos, plus the reviews were good on Yelp. Unfortunately this was a terrible experience for both myself and my friends. Bayridge sushi is your typical all looks no substance restaurant. It looks cool inside but the food was not only terrible but I got sick afterwards. The issues started once we were seated. There was a woman who came over with a camera and asked if she could take a photo of us; first my husband and I and then my friends. I said no because I didn't feel dressed up enough and I assumed the photos were going to be put on their social media for advertising as they are a new spot and it made sense to me. After she pressured me 3 times to take a photo she went on to ask if my friends wanted one. They said yes and she took their photo. We didn't think anything of it until she came back with a printed picture of them and told them it was $20....not do you want it for $20 but that they owed her $20 for the picture. She never informed them that there was a charge at all for a picture and expected them to pay when they weren't informed. This isn't professional at all at best and a scam at worst. We were hungry so we still decided to order food anyway. Since it is a sushi place I ordered a few different dishes off of the extensive menu. I ordered the truffle bluefin tuna appetizer which had akami bluefin tuna, black truffle paté, crispy rice bits, smoked tobiko, microgreens, and chef's sauce. The tuna was seared on the outside which wasn't mentioned in the description, and the rice bits made the dish taste dry and was an odd combination. Even with the sauce it didn't save it. The tuna wasn't super high end and the multitude of flavors were too much. For $18 the tuna should have been a better cut and higher quality, but it wasn't. Next I had the Bluefin Toro Bite which has spicy bluefin toro on top of a crispy fried nori seaweed chip, avocado, tobiko, and micro-greens. The tuna was the same quality and cut as the first dish but it was supposed to be toro which is a fattier and generally more luxurious/expensive part of the tuna; sadly it just tasted similar, sour like it had gone bad, and like it had siracha mixed in which is a cheap way of making spicy tuna and should be mentioned in the description. This was $16. Then I had the Crispy Rice Tuna which was spicy bluefin tuna, crispy rice, kizami wasabi, microgreens, smoked tobiko, and yuzu-wasabi sauce. The crispy rice was ok but the tuna yet again failed to impress me. It was a sour taste again and tasted of siracha (which I hate). This was $15. Lastly I had the bluefin fatty tuna (toro) nigiri because after the waiter didn't know what chutoro or otoro was and the sushi chef confirmed they didn't have it, I settled for this. It was still $18 despite not being either of the better cuts of the tuna. Even my Thai tea was bitter and had too much cream. My friends had the hibachi and said the shrimp was dry and the steak was not flavored well. My husband had the steak hibachi and didn't care for it either. I ended up getting very sick to my stomach. I was super nauseated for days most likely due to the sushi. I believe it had gone bad or was close to going bad when we were served it. TLDR: the food was expensive and tasted terribly and the sushi had gone bad. The decor is cool on the inside but the food and lack of professionalism by staff made me never want to go back. NEVER go here it's not worth it, will leave you sick and your wallet empty for a small light show. read more

This was our first time visiting Bay Ridge sushi. Just the hour appearance of the restaurant gave you the impression that it was going to be a unique experience inside and it didn't disappoint. The staff is warm and inviting in the inside of the restaurant is beautiful from the lighting to the decor your eyes never stop wandering. I found out this popular Longwood sushi spot was opening a new location near Disney by accident. We were looking for sushi near Disney and this popped up.. Turns out they were in a soft opening mode. We were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant has beautiful décor, a blend of modern fixtures with traditional cultural touches.. The table set up was impeccable. I was impressed. To start, we ordered gyozas. For our entrees, we got the tonkotsu ramen, the hibachi combo and a couple of their signature sushi rolls: amazing tuna and bayridge roll. I really appreciated that their sushi menu is organized by preparation style, which makes it super easy for anyone who doesn't eat raw fish to find options. I visited Bayridge Sushi on Mother's Day with my daughters. After waiting over 30 minutes for our food, there was no prior communication about any complaints. Suddenly, I was informed of complaints and shortly after given the check with to-go boxes and asked to leave per the manager's orders. No alternatives were offered, such as relocating the table or allowing time to manage the situation. This reflects poor communication and inadequate customer service, especially for families. I was still charged (with a 20% discount) and had to finish the meal cold at home. As a gluten free person (for medical reasons, not by choice) I 100% do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Unless you make your own roll with just fish and a vegetable, there is nothing on the menu that is suitable. The only appetizer available is edamame, and all rolls with premade sauces use soy sauce. Plus, our server said she would check on certain things with the kitchen but then just stood behind us talking to a fellow server. She then tried to advise what was "safe," but how would she know if she didn't actually go back to the kitchen to check? She clearly didn't know the menu or ingredients, and kept talking over me when I had questions. If an honored reservation is important to you, this place isn't for you. We had an 8 pm reservation for 2 people. We arrived on time, along with a couple other parties with similar reservations. We were told they were waiting for a couple tables to clear to seat us. No big deal. I'll grab a drink while we wait at the bar. THIRTY MINUTES go by with no update. When I go to the hostess stand to get an update, I might as well have been wearing an invisibility cloak. Completely ignored. I have never felt less appreciated as a customer. This place does not care about you as a customer. After 40 minutes of waiting with NO UPDATE, the BARTENDER asked if we wanted to just sit in her section so we could eat. She was very nice and helpful and we ended up getting our appetizer an HOUR after our reservation time. 2 rolls, 1 appetizer and a bottle of sake set us back $100, none of which were premium selections. This place is definitely not for those light in the wallet, though the quality is definitely there to command the price. The food was honestly great and I would definitely eat here again if I felt like they cared about customers and I didnt have to wait so long for dinner. The manager told our bartender that they were willing to comp an additional bottle of sake or dessert, which we didn't want. It would have been better if they had just come out and acknowledged that the service we got was subpar and not normal.
