I liked that you could order on a tablet in the front of the store, and there was a nice menu displayed overhead as well. You could also order at the counter too. I tried the Khao Soi soup and I really liked it. I was surprised to see this on the menu to begin with since it's a Thai dish and the rest of the menu was mostly Japanese food, but I'm glad it was delicious! It wasn't too spicy and the noodles were great. The meat was really chunky and easy to eat. The crispy noodles were yummy. My sister also liked the dish too. Overall would recommend. I also tried the Thai iced tea and thought it was delicious! I like that it came in a plastic bottle so I could take the rest home. Nothing to make it worth the extra cost, their words, teaching em right!!! My wife and little one both ordered the Capybara Sushi for $13.95. They received 10 pieces of pretty standard sushi. We discussed it, but no one was really sure what made it a special signature roll as we all had a taste. The wife and littlest one liked the rolls, but didn't feel it was better than other Sushi places. The wife also stated it didn't really justify the up charge in comparison to other rolls they offer at around 8-10$ each roll. I ordered the Shrimp tempura it came out lukewarm and was good, but pretty standard and not as crispy as it should have been. It may have been better if it was brought out fresh & hot. I honestly think that was the whole vibe for everyone. The food was good, but not great enough to return for the cost. This is most likely a one and done for us. Food to Value ratio: Poor, we paid 87$ for our food & drinks for 5 and we were all still hungry afterwards. Currently, I'm stuck at home sick, so I decided to Uber Eats some ramen tonight and wanted to try some place new. Capybara came up as a location that was running a deal (buy a specific ramen, get an item free), so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and added a California Roll with the promotion. Pros: Fresh tasting noodles, massive portion sizes for both egg/ pork, tasty broth, the option to separate your noodles from the broth, great packaging, and a cute logo! Cons: While it was takeout, the broth got cold rather quickly. I wish the container had more broth in it cause I rather enjoyed it. This place is fantastic. I have never wrote a yelp review, but this place has changed that. I found this hidden gem browsing DoorDash one night with my girlfriend after a long shift. I ordered the spicy Hamachi rolls and she got the avocado rolls and salmon rolls; they instantly got us hooked, especially with there killer sauces (I recommend the spicy ponzu). The next time we ordered they were unfortunately were out of spicy ponzu, but made a hand written apology note and even drew a adorable capybara on it, absolutely fantastic.
