I thought I left a review oops one of my favorite sushi restaurants ever locally owned and within walking distance of my hotel The food is amazing here!!! Great service and ambience
In this restaurant you will need to order first then sit at a table. They will bring your food to you. The place was pretty empty when I came, I was the only customer here at one point. The inside of the store is pretty nice. The food was alright, I got: Tuna Tataki: 2 out of 5 as it was very garlicky. Usually tuna tataki would also have sesame oil drizzles to add to the flavor but I didn't get that here. I also found a small gnat trapped in the green onions and garlic. Volcano roll: 3 out of 5 I wish the roll had cream cheese, would definitely help out the roll. If it was torched a bit more also. The nigiri tuna, shrimp and salmon had a generous pieces of fish but the rice were so small, and compact. Over all, it wasn't a bad place but I don't think I would be back.
Very nice casual sushi spot! Good quality fish and yummy rolls. The service was very friendly and efficient. The Bonito roll is probably my favorite here, a nice and interesting Smokey flavor. Would always recommend if you're in the area and need a quick sushi fix for any budget.

The quality of the food was great. We got a poke bowl, tempura shrimp, gyoza, white rice and krab sticks. The prices online do not match in store, it's slightly more maybe by 1-2$. The lady at the counter was rude. I asked for a receipt and she said i didn't need one. It's clean in the lobby but behind the counter looks like every other Chinese restaurant, a bit unorganized. Took about 15 mins to get our food. It's definitely fresh and I would return but overall experience did not meet expectations.

We went for lunch and the sushi arrived not long after ordered. Quick and efficient, will definitely be back!
I came back for round 2 ... ohhh myyyyy If you are a Mikado fan this is pretty comparable. The sushi chef is super friendly and will to earn your business and make you happy! Super friendly staff!
I finally found my favorite sushi spot in Orlando. We live in Virginia Beach but we are always down here. I've been on the search for good quality, tasty sushi here in Orlando and I finally found it. The mom and pop places are ALWAYS the best places to eat. They were short staff but you wouldn't have known if they didn't have signs posted. Even though they were busy, they still offered great customer services and good quality food. You order at the counter and they'll bring your food to the table for you. The price is fair for the quality of food. The menu is niche to sushi, poke, and just what you would get at authentic sushi restaurants. My food was delicious. It didn't smell and it tasted like fresh fish. The wasabi was definitely kicking. Some places use fake wasabi (is what I'm told). I recommend the spicy salmon poke. My son says the eel roll is really good. My husband loved the tataki. The place isn't fancy so don't expect anything but good food from a small business. We will be back to try more rolls and dishes.

Walked in on a Friday around 7, service was quick, and enough open seating! I had the gyoza and California crunch roll. The California crunch roll was really good, crunchy, and fresh with a little bit of spice!! Roll brought 8 pieces, gyoza brought 6 pieces. Overall, food is priced very well in my perspective. They have a wide variety of food to pick from. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Will definitely come back here to try other rolls and dishes!
A hidden gem... The prices were great, and the food was delicious. I was if-y about going to a place that seemed really Americanized by its name, but I am totally glad that our other options were a no go due to it being a Friday night. :) The gyu don was yummy and filling! The accompanying sauce made it taste even better. The caramelized onions and red radish were great additions. I was totally glad to have a redo with this don here. It was just so flavorful and delicious! The comet sushi combo was great. It was 28 pieces of goodness that filled our bellies. There were two pieces of the following variety so it was perfect for sharing: nigiri, tuna, tilapia, salmon, shrimp, eel, and crab stick. There were also the California and salmon cream cheese rolls. The wait was a little long as they were understaffed, but it was well worth the food delay. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

A quick sushi spot for your cravings in the Lake Buena Vista area! Sushiology was one of my go-to spots when I went to UCF. They used to have a location right by the university in Waterford Lakes but it closed down soon after I discovered one of my favorite dishes- gyudon. After it closed, it would always be a treat to get it if I came to this location or the one on I-Drive. If you're looking for it, just spot the helicopter launch pad and you're pretty much there. A good place to go if you're looking for something different when shopping at the outlets and not wanting to go to the food court. My usual go-to's are gyudon (a must!) which is thinly sliced, sweet beef on top of a bed of rice with pickled ginger. So simple but so good! I also sometimes opt for a sushi roll. I usually get the plain rolls or normal nigiri which are pretty good if you're into simple sushi. If I'm in the area, I'll usually go here for some quick food.
First time here, and simply the staff were super sweet. Price was very reasonable and the food was delicious. Inside they have a good amount of seating areas. They have tables and a bar area. Definitely will be coming again. You may ask why didn't I get sushi. I'm person not a fan but person I was with wanted sushi and to know they have some other options is nice for people who don't eat sushi. read more
Im kinda picky about my sushi so I wasn't sure how much customizing I could do here but they accommodated all my preferences. They also have soy paper for anyone who doesnt like seaweed paper. The woman who took the order made sure everything was correct and it was all made fresh after we ordered. The portions were very filling and the price was very reasonable. The restaurant was very clean and in a convenient spot. I would definitely go back here read more

Walked in on a Friday around 7, service was quick, and enough open seating! I had the gyoza and California crunch roll. The California crunch roll was really good, crunchy, and fresh with a little bit of spice!! Roll brought 8 pieces, gyoza brought 6 pieces. Overall, food is priced very well in my perspective. I'm not sure why the worker doesn't look too happy, they won't greet you or introduce the menu and when the food is ready the guy just say "hello" and left the food on the counter without saying where the utensils or sauce is. So the service is 1 star to me. The food was fine, I got poke bowl and I add soy sauce and wasabi by myself because it was kinda dry. 3 stars for the poke bowl. read more

Stopped here since we wanted some sushi and this was the closest spot. The menu is on your right as soon as you walk in, you order and once you're seated they will bring your food out to you. We ordered soft shell card, Eel California, Shrimp Shumai and banana tempura. Everything was okay and I mean everything. The food was OK, the service was OK, the place was OK. We came here for early dinner after a day at the theme park on a weekday. It wasn't crowded at all. Only two other parties besides us. You order the food at the counter then they bring the food to you. They'll also clean up the plates after you eat. There's a self serve water station. You get your own utensils and napkins. There was a selection of canned/bottled beverages to choose from. Bathroom was clean. Overall, a clean and bright establishment. The staff were polite. We ordered some apps, rolls and a beef bowl. Everything was delicious but the beef bowl could've had more flavor. Couples pieces of rolls fell apart easily but overall great value. read more

Staying at a hotel nearby and was looking for some sushi...this place nailed it! Having lived in Japan and had sushi/sashimi from 5-star rated restaurants from California to Toronto to Montreal, I have had my share of good sushi...this place definitely helped with my craving! Ordered online via Yelp (third party ordering system), my order was ready as per the stated time. No complaints at all! Fish was fresh, soft shell crab was tasty and loved the steam option for my gyoza. Would definitely order from here again the next time we are in the area! We actually really liked this place. It's a quick service. The sushi was actually really good which was unexpected. We also got goyza and those were good as well. Waitstaff was friendly and food came out fairly quickly. I recommend this place. read more
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Sushiolgy!! This is by far m favorite spot for sushi! I've been a happy customer for 2 years! I never used to have raw sushi until I came here, everything is fresh and made to order. If I don't dine in I love bringing my sushi just to the parking lot next door, park the car, pop the truck in my jeep, and enjoy my lunch. Highly recommended them!! read more

Ok, please read all it because it is not only the food but first impressions of the place, staff and food. - near Vineland Outlet, so it's pretty busy. They have a sign in the parking lot that all cars will be towed if not a customer. - walk in, good ambience, very contemporary but menu is right at the entrance. They will have a smaller one when you are ordering. - the lady at the cash register did not look happy but was very amicable. - ordered: Half California, Tekka Maki, Half Salmon CC - see pictures. Got to say, not bad. Looks and tastes fresh. They do have the sushi making machine, which I think it is pretty cool since it will always provide you with the correct amount of rice per roll. The Tekka Maki, very good but was not a Tekka maki, It was diced tuna and had some sort of spicy sauce (not wasabi). When asked the chef, he said it was his bad and that he will do another one even after having eating the other one. Thought that was great customer service. The sunomono, Ok... but not sure if I would try it again, just because it had mandarin, and I am not particularly fond of mixing fruits in my food, again, that is just me. California roll and salmon cc roll where pretty good. Taste very good, the portions where spot on, all similar and uniform. (This is why I like the sushi/roll making machine). Overall, a great experience, ordered more to take home for later and will surely be back here again! Nicely done! Every time I come here they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, delicious and affordable. When I walk in I know whatever I decide to order will be filling and tasty. When it comes to customer service they truly get to know you and your favorite things to order. I bring all my friends when they come to town and they always ask to visit again when they come back to Florida. It's not always easy to find a good Sushi spot IMO, but this one has a special place in my heart and stomach. read more

1st time here, not the last We ordered the Rainbow Roll and the Spider Roll. Both were amazing. The center of the spider was warm. Very friendly staff. We were the only ones here. Background music is current pop standard, great vibe in here. read more
I was craving sushi and Sushiology happened to be around the corner. I liked how they have different types of rolls and how inexpensive their menu was. I ordered the Volcano roll, Mexican roll, fantasy roll, shrimp tempura and fried gyoza as the appetizer. My favorite was the volcano roll and the fantasy roll. I like how there was crab and mango/shrimp on the top as well as the shrimp tempura. I thought the combination had an exquisite taste. My whole bill came out to be $40. I did however forget to get the sauces in which the server didn't tell me she put them in the bag or not. But they change .50 cents per sauce. They have sauces like eel sauce which is a sweet sauce, white sauce and spicy mayo. The food was prepared quickly under 15 minutes. The restaurant seemed pretty neat overall. I definitely would come back to try their other special rolls. This place has a lot to offer. read more

This place is AMAZING!! Def a hidden gem. There's ample parking. Big menu to the right of you once you walk in but there's a smaller one at the register. They even offered us menus to look at while we sat down. The workers are super friendly too. I'm kinda picky when it comes to my sushi especially here in Orlando but it was really good--not just in taste but presentation! I tried the fried Banana Tempura and Ice Cream and it was GREAT! Def will be coming again! read more
