The Bar, a great atmosphere for some after work margaritas!
    Devin B.

Las Terrazas is finally the first Mexican restaurant to open off the Gluckstadt Exit and was much needed. I had the street style tacos which is basically 3 corn tortillas with a spicy pork that is grilled to order. The restaurant has most items you would find at other mexican restaurants but it does offer a nice selection of items that you will not find anywhere else such as the Mocajete Ranchero which is a large dish served in large hot stone bowl with everything good in life; steak, grilled chicken and sautèed vegetables in a homemade chipotle and mocajete sauce that is served with authentic queso fresco. It's delicious. I've also had the Chile Colorado here and at other mexican restaurants and this place is not afraid to bring on the spice and it does not taste like it is out of a can. It is actually made. In the restaurant. Everyday. Also, the queso dip is superb, probably some of the best in the area. I don't know how to they do it but it's seriously addictive. If you have room for dessert, go with flan and you will not be disappointed. It's also made in house. All in all, it was a great experience. Sunday through Thursday is happy hour all day by the way on all Margaritas!

Some of the most flavorful crawfish I've had this season. They never disappoint. This is one of my favorite spots to eat crawfish.

The service and food both was good. We had Crawfish and royal reds with corn and potatoes.

Bad service. Tried to over charge. Cheese dip taste like it's watered down with dish water. Long wait.

If you're hungry, don't get the Baja fish tacos. The wife's scallop chimichanga was delicious though. Plenty of food on her plate.

A lot of fun drink options; my MIL ordered their spin on aperol spritz which was great and refreshing. Our food came out super quick & service was great. The ambiance was fast-paced, different seating options, and huge bar area. Our waitress was very attentive to us. What we ordered: Appetizer: onion rings - delicious not too much breading and crispy. So so good. The backyard (basically double cheese burger on Texas toast). Father in law said it was fantastic! Caesar salad (large) + add chicken. This is what I ordered. I enjoyed the chicken - kind of a Cajun season - but I did wish I was grilled! Patty melt: some kind of Big Mac sauce, gooey cheese, 10/10 from my husband. Cod sandwich : my MIL ordered this on sourdough; she really enjoyed it. You can swap out the sandwich bread to whatever bread of your liking. My family ordered fries as a side, love the hand cut type but they all said they were over salted. Overall, fun spot for a delicious lunch.

I asked our waitress for kids menu and she stated they no longer had any but would check. We ordered drinks and she came back there after for food order . I then asked her for the kids menu again since she forgot. We then placed our orders . Things went left when we had to repeat what we wanted 30 times to her and pointing it out in the menu . She had a big issue with the menu order under K it was supposed to come with 1 burrito, 1 chalupa , 1 beef taco and 1 enchilada. We asked for the burrito to be chicken , the chalupa to chicken, and enchilada beef . When the plate came out the chalupa looked like a tostada because it was flat and had no chicken , no meat whatsoever. We brought it to her attention and she said that it was a chalupa . I said what about no meat where is the chicken . At this point the food is soggy and you cant pick it up without it crumbling. She finally brought a side of chicken for it . Before eating I said can we just order something else. She said no , I asked to speak to a manager. After speaking to the manager he had them remake the Chalupa that looked like a Tostada. The waitress took the side of chicken to the back . They finally brought all our food to the table to eat . Everything was either too salty or bland . At this point we were ready to just leave . We got the receipt didnt even look over it . We asked for military discount which was 10% off . $168 . 62 Dollars later . I gave the waitress $180 cash . She asked If she could keep the change on top of gratuity for $26.57 she got and we allowed her to. I got home and finally got a chance to check my receipt and saw that they only took off $2.25 off the entire bill for 10% military discount .Then I noticed they then charged us $3.50 for plastic forks . Then charged us for chicken on the chalupa that was a tostata that crubled up . Worst Birthday dinner ever. I returned today and they were unwilling to fix the issues with my receipt. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE GO HERE. They are way overpriced for the food and drinks quality and customer service sucks big time. Never again.

My delicious cocktail. Their take on a whiskey sour is incredible. Definitely get a Township Sour! The crawfish fondue was a bit grainy. Not near as smooth as it has been in the past. The hand cut fries are always top tier though. I had the house salad with grilled shrimp. The grilled shrimp were smaller than I expected. Flavor was ok. They were cooked appropriately but small. I opted to sub the dressing for their ranch. It was a good house made dressing. Mike and the other guy with us got the ribeye, Pittsburg, medium rare. Mike forgot to ask for the sauce to be on the sauce rather than covering the steak and fries. It's not that the sauce is bad but a good steak doesn't need to be covered in sauce. The downside to this is that they put the steak on top of those incredible house cut fries and between that and the sauce you end up with a soggy bed of french fries. The steak was cooked perfectly. His wife got the filet with a house salad. She said it was cooked as ordered and tasted great. Let me take a moment to say that their floors have some weird waxy feel and it's like ice skating. Our friend fell and everyone at surrounding tables commented how they had been slip sliding around. Dessert at Lou's has never disappointing. Their pecan pie is one of the best ever. The blueberry cobbler is amazing. I have never eaten a dessert there that was not phenomenal. Hannah also made me a fresh cup of decaf and it was such a good cup of coffee. Hannah was an excellent server and the host was quite friendly. We aren't fans of the booth bench seating where you feel like you're eating with the people next to you. The tables on the wall benches seem closer in this location. We will go back and try it again but I will go with my usual redfish #1 and see if it is still as incredible as it has been before.
