The Hotel pictures online are not what it looks like. It was absolutely disgusting we could not even stay a night because it was so horrible. The bed sheets were inside out because there was stains and mold on them. The curtains were ripped and stained. The door did not seal all the way. Even though the Baymont is off a busy street, we had a corner back room which was quiet. Our check in was easy and quick. In the room, we had plenty of plugs and outlets for our electronics, and the room was well lit. The AC put out cold air, but took an hour to cool the room. We liked having the microwave to heat up leftover pizza, and we used the small fridge for drinks. We did not use the coffee maker and coffee, but we did channel surf the many channels on the flat screen TV. Also liked having a comfy chair in the corner, and a desk area. The king size bed was comfortable and clean, and we each had a side table with light. Breakfast was okay: four cereals to choose from, 2 juices (apple & orange), bagels, muffins, apples, waffles. The room has 5 tables and 20 chairs. It's a tight squeeze, so we took our breakfast back to our room. read more

This place is beyond disgusting, if I didn't book through a third party app and originally reserved direct I would have been SOL. They didn't care whatsoever about my accommodations. It was almost impossible to get switched to a different room because there was def no refund. Bugs under the mattress. Liquid on the walls/sheets/curtains etc. empty food items. Hair...blood on my sheets I asked to be switched 3 times. My key card stopped working random (an I know from past experience to keep it separate from wallet cards keys etc.) an nobody was at the front desk I had to chase down the janitor an convince them to open my room. read more

Where do I start. Arrived on a Friday around 5pm for a 2 night stay. Getting to the room was no problem but first thing right off the bat was the fact that the light above the sink where all the primping happens did not work. No worries. I can use a flashlight to shave so I dont cut myself. So I took a shower after getting settled in and placed all the used towels in a pile on the floor under the unlit sink. The next day I went to the beach. I left before 9am and did not get back until after 10pm. Since I did not leave the notification "Still Sleeping" hanging on the door, I assumed while I was gone an employee would come in and freshen the bed by making it and replacing the dirty towels with clean ones and topping off the coffee pods that were used this morning. I get back and none of this was done. Nothing. I was not aware that you had to call to instruct these people to do simply things that have been done since the dawn of time. I figured because this place carried the Wyndham name that the service would have been a lot better but I was let down. read more

They didn't have the dates right and had to add an additional day, and house keeping tried getting me out twice, but I paid for the extra night at check in, it was annoying after I told them the 1st time. Easily the worst and dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Our room hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant. Long dark hair on the pillow. Bloodstains on the sheets. Bugs in the bathroom. Trash in the ice buckets. A french fry behind the pillow. Dirty socks in the dresser. On and on and on. The entire hotel was dirty, nothing was properly stocked, the phones don't have any cords on them, the AC barely works, and the management would do nothing about it. The nigh management can't offer any kind of solutions and the day manager just walked off when I complained, told me to call corporate, and shouted "have a nice day". Ny 62 year old father was expected to sleep in a room that hadn't been cleaned during a global pandemic. There are cleaner roach motels than this dump. This is quite literally the worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure of staying in. My room was infested with roaches and crickets. There was blood splatter on the walls from what I can only assume to be someone pulling a needle out of their arm. The ac only blew Luke warm and had mold in the vents. the TV was stuck on 1 channel. they only had sheer curtains in my room so people walking by could see right into my room. when I went to address these problems with the manager he insults me by offering me $30 back instead of a full refund on a $200+ room. I'll be speaking with the FL health department, the local BBB, and an attorney on Monday. I fully intend on suing. read more

The girl who took reservations did not ask for a credit card & since i am Wyndham rewards member with over 60,000 points. I didn't think anything out of normal. I arrived at 8:45 & waited for police to leave the desk. So at 9. The woman at the desk told me they cancelled my reservation at 4pm. Because, there was no card on file. So, i said ok. What do you have available? She say nothing. I'm like excuse me? There is nothing available. But, there are other hotels. So after an hr and half. I finally found a room at the econlodge at 11pm. What efn madness!! No sympathy, no concern, no empathy & most importantly no customer service at all. I would never recommend this place. Save your money & go somewhere else read more

Hotel is not worth one star! Absolutely disgusting! I checked in and they gave me a room I walked in and it smell gross then I walked into the bathroom and it had not been cleaned at all. There was a towel around the toilet like it had been leaking and the towels were gross. So I walked down and got another room but this one was not much better. You would think with COVID they would have better cleaning standards but no. There are bugs and hair in the bathtub and stained towels. Then I took my kids swimming and a worker came out and said my kids are too little to swim in the pool and they had to get out. There are 10, 7, and 4 and there are no signs stating no kids in the pool. So I packed up and we left early. read more

They are clearly proud of the candy from the machine in the front desk area, because they display the forgotten pieces in the disbursement tray encased in dust for prosperity. First and most importantly the lady at the front desk was amazing-the first night!! The second and third ight not so much. Hot tub rooms are average cost ($129.00) The room is clean as far as hotel rooms go. The linens smelled fresh and the towels were bright white. There was a slight odor but not any different that all hotel room cleaning products. the shower had very little pressure, so not the best for sure. However, the WiFi did not work in the room, so went to front desk to use business center- they do not clean out computers so everyone who had ever been on it- their information was saved on the desktop, (a little scary) I decided NOT to use it either. Including hotel business forms, employee time sheets etc. The ice machine was broken, so you had to go the the front desk and they would give you a small garbage bag of ice (the bags from trash cans in room)- they acted like they were doing us a favor by handing us a couple pieces of ice. (not the first time, she was apologetic and friendly and offered to bring it down to my room, the second morning the lady would not give it to me unless I took her our room ice bucket) We were told a "Hot Breakfast" which is untrue- make your own waffles and cereal bagels or 1.99 Winn Dixie mini muffins. When we ask about it we were told their sister hotel - Holiday Inn Express served bacon and eggs but not them. They refuse to put my Reward Points on my account because we did not have a "reservation booked prior to checkin". I went and checked out our room and there were bed bugs on the sheets and under the cover. When I tried to cancel the room I was told "To Bad" no refunds. . I have stay in two Baymont Inn's this week and both are in need of some TLC. The lamps are falling apart and one is so hard to turn off and on I just leave them on most of the time. The carpet needs to be either cleaned ( I mean DEEP) or replaced. The whole place should have some up grades. I have to say the staff were very nice, both lobby and housekeeping. The wifi isn't very customer friendly, have to login each time you want to use it, even when it has only been a few minutes since you were on. This review is not for me, but for my family. My family stays here when they come to visit, or should I say they used to. My mother called to book a room, and they need a ground floor room. They told her they could not guarantee her a ground floor room. This hotel does not have an elevator. When you need to accommodate someone in a wheelchair, don't you think you should go above and beyond to help them out and earn their business? Apparently not here. Needed a place to lay our heads for the night after coming to our new home with no ac. There is nothing spectacular about them but their staff was WONDERFUL!!! The rooms are the typical motel style, beds, table, chairs, and a restroom...what else do need?? The rooms do have a television (which of course comes in handy with little people), small coffee pot, and a mini fridge. There was a slight smell (but nothing too noticeable) and you could definitely hear conversations as people walk past (and a little traffic noise that I noticed but the hubby says I'm crazy). They also have breakfast, but unfortunately my little guy decided he'd rather sleep in. I have to say, the lady working the front desk that night was amazing. She accommodated us with our needs and even brought us a new iron when the one for the room was leaking water all over. Check out was a breeze and of course with a friendly smile and demeanor. If I could give negative stars this would be the place to do it. The staff apparently believe that cockroaches in your room is acceptable. I informed the front desk clerk that as I emptied the remnants of a beer can into the sink 2 cockroaches fell out; her response was "...maybe they were thirsty for beer." This staff also informed me that "you're in Florida" and that bugs are everywhere. Well, at their hotel that's probably true. A couch in the room does not make it a suite. This is an old hotel with a poor attempt of a face lift to try to disguise decades of decay. The premises were dirty with trash on the ground throughout on our way to our room. There was mold growing on the bathroom wall under the "fresh" coat of paint as well as rust from the 70's metal door frames. We did find an ironing board, but no iron to speak of. Maybe we needed to ask the front desk for an iron, although the receptacle was conveniently expecting the iron to be placed in it by the hotel's staff. We were pleasantly surprised, however, to find clean sheets on the king size bed in our room. What a relief! For our continental breakfast we had the usual cold options of muffins, bagels, cereal, and, of course, French toasts! Besides all the room not being up to snuff, the grounds are unkept with overgrown plants, weeds and fallen limbs and dirt.. I'd say it was a sad and unpleasant experience to be in this place. My husband and I will, for certain not wait until we are exhausted from driving to book a hotel online again. I hope this helps. read more

It was clean for the most part except, the actual bathroom it could have use some extra attention. Wow. Awful. Checked in late 1/5/17. Night staff not very friendly. Room door doesn't fit tightly. Not exactly sure pillowcases were fresh. Breakfast was worse. Supposedly open til 9:30. I got there at 8:30. Tables all dirty. Spilled coffee on the floor. Countertops dirty with spills. OJ machine only shot out water. Hot water pot had room temperature water. No microwave to heat anything. Waffle batter was empty. No muffins. No one came in to check on supplies or clean. Definitely would not stay again. read more

I don't tend to leave reviews like this but amazed at all the things we encountered in our room for the price they ask for it. The door locked but didn't seal tight, could see daylight through it...way more than a normal door. The furniture (tv stand/ and nightstands) were de-laminating, sprinkler heads in ceiling we're hanging out of the ceiling, walls look like they have never been washed with stains all over the place...stains that look like they would easily wash off. The room smelled of smoke, bathroom door was broken- it rubbed against bathroom floor when trying to open/close it, could tell it's been that way for awhile...door hinges are broken... bathroom faucet broken and sprayed in all directions, toilet seat loose, bathroom tun didn't drain well at all, led to standing water during shower, could see toothpaste or something like it in the grout of the bathroom, could tell it wasn't cleaned very well. killed a large spider in the bathroom too...the entire room felt gross. bed sheets seemed clean. this was a place to sleep, kept our sandals on. read more

So I have tried to get this issue resolved as quietly as possible, but after speaking to the lovely manager at the Baymont Inn of Crestview, FL and being yelled at and berated for my dissatisfaction for our stay, I guess maybe this needs to be blown wide open. We checked into our hotel hell on Friday, August 3 at 2:00. We asked to check in early, since we had driven all night and wanted to rest before going to the beach. We were told they were booked completely solid, and that they were also very understaffed so the best they could do was one hour early. Alright, fine. We obliged. Five minutes into our stay, I pulled back the sheets to lay the girls down for a nap and there were bodily fluids on the sheets!! I called down to the front desk to have them come change the sheets. The housekeeper came up, yelled at us about how she had JUST left our room and that it wasn't what I thought it was on the sheets, but was "stain remover"....mmmm okay whatever. So she asked if I still wanted the sheets changed.... absolutely yes. She became irate and was literally cussing us WHEN WE WERE RIGHT THERE. Now the room was JUNK. There was white powder all over the damp floor, on the furniture, everywhere. There were bugs crawling out of the furniture (most of which was broken), and the room smelled like someone went on a drinking binge with their chain smoking grandma. Fast forward to that evening. We had dinner at my mom's and got back pretty late. Lo and behold, the toilet doesn't work. Paul fixed it and we crawl into bed for the night. The AC doesn't work. So paul goes over to mess around with it and there was A HALF EMPTY BOTTLE OF FIREBALL WHISKEY UNDERNEATH. Ya'll, I was so disgusted at this point I just wanted to pack up and go somewhere else...except there were no vacancies ANYWHERE because it's the last weekend of summer vacation for many. Saturday, we laid the towels on the floor to get new ones, and left to head to Foley. We got back from mom's about 11:00 pm, and the room had not been cleaned, the bed was as we left it, BUT they took our towels. Which would have been nice had they replaced them. My husband had to physically walk down there to get the towels because nobody would bring them up. Also, Saturday morning we went down for the "continental breakfast" they served, and found stale cereal with warm milk that had been sitting out, and the hot water for the tea was yellow and had floaters in it. Yummm. Needless to say, we decided to skip it on Sunday. Upon checking out, I asked for a refund, as we paid almost $150 PER NIGHT to sleep in something that rivaled the Bates Motel. I mean, the least they could do was have the roaches split the rent with us. Seriously. There was a couple behind us also there to complain. I was the third person just that morning to ask for a refund due to deplorable conditions, and the lady at the front desk even said that she wouldn't stay here or let her family stay here by any means. She also told me their NORMAL rates are $69 per night, not what we were paying. We literally paid OVER DOUBLE what they normally charge. She also said that the issues with our room have been ongoing problems with that room that their manager will not fix. She called him, as he was not working, and offered us a 10% discount off of one night (after he yelled at her.) I said that was nowhere near good enough, and he said he would like to speak to me directly, BUT ONLY when he got to work Monday. Guess who didnt come to work yesterday?? Now, the real fun part. He finally called me today (after calling and yelling at my mother since she booked our stay as a rewards member) and asked me why I was so dissatisfied with our stay. I told him everything, and he said "Well you should have called down here and saidsomething! I cant fix a problem I dont know about and it was your responsibility to notify us!" Mind you, I notified them. I watched her write it down on the paper and slide it under his door. I kept detailed notes. And I told him I all of this as well. He said he wasn't on duty and that he wasn't going to offer us any kind of deal except 10% off each night we stayed there. I told him that was not acceptable, the conditions were deplorable. He began to YELL AT ME, CALL ME NAMES, and refuse to let me talk!! I told him I was going to call Wyndham corporate, the health department, and everyone else, and he said, and I quote, "you can come at me with you stupid ass threats all you want because now you're getting NOTHING off of your stay at all!" He continued to yell at me so I hung up. I contacted Wyndham, the health dept, and my next step is the news. Because someone could get seriously sick or hurt. (Also the previous occupants left a super cool shark tooth necklace with Confederate flag beads too so I guess that's an added bonus) read more
