Booked an additional night in June 2022. It was $99.39 for a Deluxe Double Room with 2 Double Beds, including the 11% tax. (King bed not available.) There was also a $50 deposit charged via credit card. + Microwave + Refrigerator + Complimentary parking available on property (although parking is a bit tight in the back of the property) + Decent size - Weak toilet flush power - There are multiple outlets on the base of the bedside lamps. However, they did not work. - No elevators I believe it depends on which room is assigned during check-in. This room on the first floor is much better than the room on the 2nd floor where we previously stayed. There were no wobbly shower fixtures or creaky bed springs in this room. I reserved an accessible room on Expedia. Nowhere on the itinerary did it show it was accessible. Called Expedia and the hotel and was told I could not confirm if it was accessible until I got to the hotel. I got to the hotel and was told it was not accessible. I was told I could cancel but only right then and I could not see the room first. We got to the room and the room was nothing like the pictures. There was mold in the window, on the walls, on the ceiling, in the tub, the fridge door was rusted over, and the top of the fridge looked like it was hit with a sledgehammer. I was told it was too late to cancel and get a refund. Expedia was no help even though I purchased the booking protection. The hotel was horrible and no one should stay there and the health department should shut them down. read more

If I could give a zero rating, I would. My room was dirty, and plastic drapes barely hung. So many roaches, I had to buy a can of roach spray. One roach so big I had to cover with a glass lid to keep it from crawling around. Housekeeping looked like racking.of trash. Do not stay there. We have stayed at this hotel several times, it is our go-to hotel in Crestview, however, this last time was a disappointment. Not once in our four day stay was our room serviced. I stayed at the Super 8 Crestview for three nights and enjoyed my time there. The hotel is in a great location for me -- quick access to the freeway and only about 25 minutes from the beach at Fort Walton. I have family who live in Southern Alabama (Florala) and the Super 8 Crestview was the perfect location -- about 25 minutes from my family, about 25 minutes from the beach and about 25 minutes from Pensacola. This is a motor-inn style motel with exterior doors. There is ample parking and the parking lot is very well lit. The rooms are nicely decorated and furniture/bedding are in good condition. The beds are comfortable -- not too soft, not too hard -- and the TV has a better-than-average selection of cable channels. The staff at this hotel are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to help their guests. Becca at the front desk was very helpful in resolving a reservation date issue (which was due to my own fault). She was friendly and personable and a joy to talk to and help me fix my own mistake. The gentleman working the front desk (whom I also believe is the owner) was also fantastic and very attentive to any questions or needs I had. He was friendly and truly seems to care about his guests. Overall I highly recommend the Super 8 by Wyndham Crestview. Its clean, safe and comfortable. I definitely will stay here again next time I am in town to visit family, and would have no problem recommending it to family and friends. read more

Do not waste your time. Do not stay in room 217. This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed at even for a super 8. I had prepaid for 2 nights that was a mistake. The shower has mold on the ceiling, the microwave and fridge were not cleaned, the walls had cobwebs and were filthy with something sticky and nasty. I was too tired to leave when I arrived after being in a car 15 hrs and visiting the beach. I woke early checked out the next morning at 9:30am. It was supposed to be non smoking and smelled of smoke which caused my asthma to be worse. This place was the nastiest hotel I have ever been too. Please save your money. Even the floors looked like they had not been mopped for 88. Dollars a night this is very unsafe and disturbingly nasty. Also it the site falsely advertises that you'll receive a breakfast item but they don't offer that. I could have spent an extra 30 and went to a better hotel... Very disappointed. read more

Filthy room!!! I'm giving this hole two stars based only on three things: The water was hot, the bed was firm, and the AC was cold. The rest of it was nasty, dirty and broken. The floor was filthy. I've attached a photo of the towel I used to wash my feet AFTER my shower, with 20 minutes of walking barefoot on the floor. There was a tiny piece of bar soap left in the shower, someone's else's pubic hairs on the toilet rim, mold on the ceiling, cobwebs on the walls and the smoke detector was gone. There was an ice bucket but no cups. A tissue holder but no tissues. Cigarette burns in the quilt. It was more like a hooker hotel than any place travelers would stop at. And the price for this hole.. was robbery. I remember when Wyndham hotels were nice places. They should be ASHAMED to allow their good name on a dump like this. read more

We stayed in this hotel over Memorial Day weekend and had a terrible experience. They advertise on their website and in the rooms that there is free breakfast when there isn't, it's just coffee and juice. Super 8 claims everyone in the office will be wearing a mask, nobody in the office had a mask on. Our room smelled like someone had smoked in it. The lampshade had stains on it. The knob for the hot water in the shower was coming out of the wall. The shower curtain didn't close all the way. The 2nd day we were there the man cleaning looked into our room through the window and once we noticed he then knocked on the door asking if we needed towels. Some of the plugs in the room didn't work. The customer service was less than pleasant. The bed had bed bugs and I was bit all over. When I submitted the complaint about the bed, the General Manager said I lied and that I either fabricated the pictures of the bites I got or I found them online somewhere. This also isn't the first complaint they've received about bed bugs. I have plenty more pictures of the bites as well. Not sure how I fabricated these but take what you will with this Information. Honestly, take your money and go somewhere else. It's not worth it. read more

The check-in staff was friendly. This place was by far the worst motel we have ever stayed. It had extremely dirty floor--it was tile floor and was unclean. This location does not offer military discount. We stayed here based off of the reviews and it being the highest rated (granted not by much and not that high) reasonable hotel near by. We thought we would be able to make our trip in one shot but started to get extremely tired. If it wasn't for our desperation of sleep, we would have ran away- not walked. We were on the second floor. The room smelled AWFUL, like mildew and mold. We got the only room (at least on this side of the building) with a bucket on the outside of the AC unit. So I'm guessing it's leaking? The bucket didn't stop much though, so be prepared to walk through gross water. We found at least 5 dead bugs on the floor. We woke up to about 30 maggots crawling on the floor from the outside gross AC water. There was only a roll of toilet paper with less than a 1/4 left and the only toiletries was a thing of hand soap, there were gross towels and no tissues. The road and other guests were pretty loud, which I know the hotel can't control but just as a heads up. The breakfast items were waffles, three kinds of cereal, chocolate chip muffins, one kind of milk, apple juice, and orange juice. At checkout I shared our experience, and the first response was "oh those worm things? Those aren't maggots." And that I should have said something at check in. I know we should have, but when we got our room at 3am we were so tired and thought the only thing we were dealing with was a bad smell and no toiletries. We would take a shower in the morning and leave. It wasn't until 9am when we woke up that we realized just how gross the place was and that we got visitors overnight (the maggots/bug/things) that weren't there at checkin. We will NEVER stay here again, we'd rather just sleep in our car at the Walmart parking lot up the street. read more

When we first checked in I was put off by the not cleanest bath tub in the world and the less than spotless bathroom floor. And although we asked for a non smoking room and were told they are all nonsmoking, our room smelled of cigarettes and had me coughing until the fan and AC helped clear the air somewhat. But it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. And the sheets did not smell of smoke. And then came breakfast- the couple who run/own This Super 8 were so friendly! Date of arrival (exact date of stay): 7/14/21 This "hotel" was disgusting, between the people vomiting out of their room a few doors down and the sheer terror of all of the other surrounding "tenants" drinking, smoking pot on their balconies. Witnessing what could only been one of 2 transactions- drug deal or prostitution by a girl with a large bag go to 2 different rooms. More than half of the rooms had the doors wide open, partying in and out of their rooms. I asked the "manager" for a different room, he laughed at me....I tried to bring myself to go into the room (with my 2 children) but could not bring myself to risk our safety at this "hotel"....I then returned to the front office, where I was laughed at again and was refused a refund. So I left, and had to drive (after 10pm, exhausted) 2 hours to Tallahassee, where I had to get another hotel room. As I explored Wyndham's website, I stumbled across the MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT posted in June 2018....I found this very interesting (and something you should follow up on with said property) as being sexually assaulted, or kid napped was the very reason I feared for mine, and my children's safety, and could not bring myself to stay at this hotel. I have sent several messages to Wyndham's customer service and have been ignored, so don't think because they put their name on it you'll will get a quality product or quality treatment. All the positive reviews seems to be fake. 1. Breakfast is a joke. All the machines like for juice do not work. Mr SHARMA ( owner) buy rotten banana and serve guests. 2. There was a microwave and mini fridge which is so convenient when traveling. The bed was so comfy which is the main thing I look for in a hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights due to its cheap rates and it was a straight shot to Destin beach. The room was clean and had no complaints. Our toilet quit flushing and manager sent guy to plunge it. When an hour later it quit working again they quickly put in a new toilet. Shower curtain would not stay closed but not my problem their floor got soaked. Beds were nice enough and small room but we were not there a lot. Parking lot is always full and not enough space. Breakfast was nice enough just waffles and biscuits. Stayed one night and would stay again during the week. Rates go up on the weekend. The room was clean and very nice, well decorated. The fridge was good size and held a gallon of milk. That was impressive. The property was clean. I was shocked there wasn't cigarette butts all over the parking lot. They keep the property looking nice, it's well kept. The owners live on property and worked the desk when we checked in. We had a crap day and left another hotel and went to this super 8. Husband came back to the truck and was in a better mood. I can only speak for my stay here, but I would like to address a couple of the reviews below. The room was perfectly clean, the staff was super helpful and nice when I lost my key (while still adhering to security best practices when issuing me another one). I normally stay in hotels when I travel for business, and my agency usually puts me in 3 star joints. This particular gig came up last minute, so I chose Super 8 Crestview place based on its proximity to the case I was working and the great price. Harry is a consummate professional. Courteous, smart, proud of the premises he manages and the company at large. A likeable and interesting guy. Now, let me address two older reviews on here. First, Quan, the author of the 3 star review below: 1. If you open a review stating the ethnic background of the management, please elaborate on how that is relevant. Someone being from India is only a problem if their accent makes them difficult to understand, i.e., like some Mumbai-based technical support call centers. Harry, as well as the lady who works here, both speak perfect, clear English (and do so on a higher level than the average native born US citizen. 2. Every other statement in the review is positive, and looks like praise. So why only 3 stars? Are you judging a budget motel in a context that includes places costing 3 times as much? That doesn't make much sense. Maybe you mean with your rating that this motel is on par with 3 star hotels (and I would agree). Second, the jackass who left the one-star review, Kris B.: 1. You probably held the door open too long during mosquito season, and let them in yourself, resulting in the vague yet unsettling "bug bites" you complain about. Welcome to Florida. Keep the door shut. Mosquitos like cool, shaded areas. 2. $150/night? B.S. 3. If it was so bad, why didn't you leave? I have never met anyone affiliated with either of these entities either, until checking in two nights ago. But I was so pleasantly surprised by the value that this place delivered, and I found Harry to be such a great host and likable person that I felt compelled to counter some of the unfair/misguided material on this page. Crestview Super 8 is the best motel I've ever stayed in. clean, fast internet, and competent, courteous staff. You get WAY more than you pay for. Not sure about the negative reviews. First of all, this is a Super 8, it is not the Hilton. We opted to stay here on our way home from a cross country road trip and we had a puppy with us. This hotel is pet friendly and only charges $10 extra for a pet. The outside is typical Super 8. Inside the rooms have been redone. Everything was clean and the decor is modern. Room has fridge and big flat screen TV. My only complaint was that it was so hot. The A/C was off and it took quite a while to cool down the room in our FL heat. I was definitely happy with the accommodations for the price and hotel type. I would have no problem returning, especially when trying to find pet friendly hotels. read more

When I arrived I was told there would be an extra charge and no breakfast was being served. This put a strain on my budget. The cleaning people didn't stop by to see if I needed new towels or coffee for the next day. The blankets were very old and worn looking. I can't say enough good things about the staff here. We had to book quickly and had special needs for my two elderly parents. Becca went above and beyond to help us through this emotional time. She helped coordinate two rooms and gave us options to extend if my parents were too spent from the service as well. She even helped us find a florist. She went in ahead of our arrival and started cooling the rooms which was awesome as it was a hot, hot day. She called later that night to check on my parents to make sure they had everything they needed. Just a regular day for Becca but it shows how much they care. They are tops in our book. Cathy, the front desk lady, when we arrived was very friendly. She got us a non-smoking room even though our online booking had a smoking room reserved. About an hour into our stay she even called the room and asked if everything was good and if there was anything else we needed. The room was clean and bed comfy. Even though there were lots of construction workers also staying in the hotel, the noise was unheard. Defiantly a good place to stay after a long drive! read more

It's a Super 8.....nothing fancy here folks. However, it is clean and affordable if you are just needing a 1 night stay. Doors opening outside creep me out on hotels but the area is off of the road and is monitored by security. Plenty to eat around the motel as well. The motel was run by Indian owners. The price was reasonable for a clean room and bed sheets. No dirty spot whatsoever in the pillow and the blanket. The carpet was smooth touched. There were even a mini bar and a microwave inside the room. I could not ask for more, especially when the room came with breakfast package. Far exceeded than our expectation. The front desk had me to come get the dirty-clean towels IN THE RAIN because our room was not clean after I placed their sign on the door asking them to clean the room. The room smell bad. Dirty! Towels dirty, floor stained with what looks and smells like urine, air conditioner knob broken. bathtub was filthy, coffee maker was so dirty it has obviously never been cleaned. The property in general was filthy littered with broken beer bottles and trash. This was not worth $110! i wouldn't pay $50 for this place. The beds are small and uncomfortable, the TV volume is muffled even at full volume. "Free Breakfast" is stale toast, a waffle maker and two types of cereal. I would advise to spend the extra $50 to stay in a competetor hotel or drive to the next town. There is no sound proofing between the floors, I heard the folks in the room above me stomping around all night. This was my first and last visit to a Super 8. When I checked out, the smiling clerk said, "how was your stay?". I said, "do you really want to know or are you being polite?". She stated she was being polite. I simply stated, "not worth $100" and left. Wyndham should recind this franchise! read more
