Stopped here on our way to Orlando. The main reason we picked this hotel was because we were able…read moreto use points to pay for the night. (Not many hotels offer to use points so your choices are limited). Location of this hotel seemed a bit "off the beaten path." It wasn't in a populated area and was tucked away off the highway, hard to even see/find. Upon walking into the hotel I was pleasantly surprised it was updated. It looked pretty nice... at first. After a short time, we noticed the short cuts they took while renovating. Things like leaving the old doors with the gold hardware, painting walls but leaving the old yellowed light switch covers, rusty air vents in the ceiling, terrible tile jobs. You name it. It just wasn't completed in a detail oriented manner which then looks sloppy and half a$$ed. Our room was ok. The 2 queen beds/pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was ok- clean but just shoddy in spots. Breakfast was held in the main open area. Food was good. They offered cheese omelettes, bacon, biscuits and gravy, assorted cereals, breads, muffins and our beloved Holiday Inn Express Cinnamon rolls. Coffee was fresh, hot and delicious. All staff interactions were friendly and pleasant.

But then my children went to use the shower and noticed the black spots on the walls and ceiling, after further inspection we noticed the moldy tiles coming off the walls & the stained bed sheets. No other rooms were available at that time so we unfortunately had to stick it out in this room, 112. The first house keeping person was amazing I'll have to say, even setting up our child's sleeping buddy on the bed nicely, but the one on the second day was lacking, no toilet paper and tissues were not refilled, only got 2 bath towels for 4 guests, no trash bags left. Oh I'll also mention that they charge you a "guest fee" for having 4 people in a room for 4........ Will not be staying at this place again, Hilton really needs to get a hold of the management and fix this place.

I didn't really sleep. I only stopped because Fred was in the way of where I was going and couldn't keep going. only 2 reason for 3 stars is I'm slightly annoyed. This is the first time I havnt gotten my deposit back. So if your hair is an exotic color and happens bleeds a little bit when you sleep you will be charged the deposit plus extra for staining the Linens ( pillow case, an a little bit on the comforter, and a hand towel) supposedly they tried with hot water and bleach and it didn't work to take out the pink. 2 reason the morning breakfast served was gross and I just got egg and sausage and some milk.. Its funny because the hotel I before here had no problems getting it out and released the deposit back

Will never recommend this hotel. Stayed here in February 2025 for 3 nights. Booked the room a month…read morein advance. I knew I would be arriving late at night. 2 hours before arriving, I double checked my reservation and everything was fine. Upon arriving at the hotel at midnight, after driving for 14 hours, the guy at the front desk said he couldn't find the reservation. I opened the app on my phone to find that the reservation had been changed at some point in the previous 2 hours. At first they shifted the reservation forward by 1 day - I was checking in on a Thursday, and someone had shifted it to a Wednesday check-in, before canceling the reservation completely. I asked the desk staff why the reservation was cancelled. "It was cancelled." "How was the reservation modified and then cancelled? Because I never received any confirmation that changes were made." "I'll have to look into it." Followed by, "I'll have to put you in a more expensive room, that's all we have available." They never attempted to make it right, and charged the higher rate. 3 days later, when I checked out, they still couldn't tell me how the reservation was cancelled. I found out later on my own that someone who found out about my trip, called pretending to be me, and cancelled it out of spite.

Employees are friendly and hard working. First night our bedroom TV wouldn't work, called front desk woman who was kind and really tried to help. She requested a service call for the morning. I figured no worry, 1st world problem lol. I mean we didn't book a beach stay for TV. I unplugged it for about 10 minutes, after unpacking etc, replugged it in and it worked. Called her and she was funny and said I'm hired and canceled service call. Each morning had YUMMY bacon for breakfast. My kid loved having a waffle every single day. The last morning there, the gal noticed we were looking for it *explained they were almost out, so didn't set it out* ... however she went and got what they had and it was enough for 1 waffle. That is excellent customer service! Room was clean and relaxing water pressure was great. Disney Jr option made my kid happy. Check-in/out was easy and friendly. Bed was so comfy, plenty of pillows, updated rooms. *yes building is older, who cares, employees can not control or change that* We will absolutely stay again and recommend this place. Parking also was great.

Let me start with the bad. We checked in at about 1300 on Thursday 23 Apr 2026. The young woman…read morechecking us in clearly didn't want to be there and clearly didn't want to give the same welcome speech she had given many times before. She was blazing through whatever she said quietly and at about the same speed as the side effects warning on a TV commercial for prescription meds. I asked her to slow down because my hearing isn't great and she was talking way too fast. She , literally, rolled her eyes and continued to the end of her speech at which time I had a room key and a pink square of paper with numbers on it that I had no idea was for. Not a great first impression. Fortunately this was a one off experience and the remainder of our stay was perfect. The resort is beautiful. The pool area was great. Our room was generously sized and very well appointed. (I still recommend all nice hotels stop buying those packets for the coffee maker with powdered creamer and that horrible pink stuff for sweetener. You're better than that.) The staff, no matter who or where we bumped into them, was friendly, engaging, and helpful. Housekeeping, maintenance, lobby, bars, food service. 100% awesome. The food and drinks in the lobby bar were amazing. We ate there several times because we couldn't think of a good reason to go anywhere else and fight the crowds and traffic for lesser food. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again.

This hotel seems like it is run by staff who hate hotels and people who stay at them. From the…read moreonset, the attitude at check-in was dismissive and almost hostile. We had requested adjoining rooms due to having two small children and during booking, and a helpful employee made notes and said that wouldn't be a problem. At check in, Raven said it was impossible we were told that, berated us, and then, when we explained we had travelled here from quite far away and needed that arrangement to get our children to sleep, said the best she could offer was to cancel our reservation so we could find somewhere else to stay. We actually tried, but of course by this point, everywhere was sold out. We were shocked by the customer service, but figured it was a bad egg. Eventually, we asked to speak to someone else, who found us connected rooms and apologized for the experience we had had. Generally, the rooms are dirty. Housekeeping makes the bed and changes the towels, but that's it. This is especially troublesome if you're staying an extended period like us, because... it's a beach. We even requested the rooms be vacuumed once on our stay after sand had accumulated despite our best efforts to keep it out, and they said sure, but no one ever came. We eventually asked housekeeping for a broom and pan and cleaned the rooms ourselves. Once we asked room service for a bowl to serve one of our kids cereal, and they said they didn't have one. I'm not exactly sure how that can be true for a full-service restaurant, but it shows you the lack of care taken with guest requests. There were never clean towels at the pool. Dirty items piled up everywhere. The staff is rude from the check-in desk to the poolside bar to the restaurant. I have no idea what work culture is at this hotel, but it doesn't seem to include courteousness or hospitality as central tenants of the guest experience. For decades, we stayed at the Hilton. We thought this might be a nice change. We won't make the same mistake twice. The staff would do well to remember that vacations are, for most people, rare occasions that families save up for and look forward to for months. The hotel is not cheap. The experience should be treated with greater care.
