While planning our vacation, we decided we wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast, rather than a hotel. We figured the stay would be more personal and we would save a few dollars on top of it. On the day we arrived, we were immediately greeted by Barbee, one of the innkeepers, and given a tour.of the gorgeous house. Everything about the house is beautiful and cozy. The living room is welcoming with lovely vintage decor, music playing faintly on the radio and even things to read. The dining room is always stocked with coffee or a sweet treat and the fridge is stocked with soft drinks and water. After the house tour, we were shown the room. We were in Suzanne's room which came complete with a bathroom and it's own little dining area. The room was beautiful with plenty of light flowing in, a day bed, a desk and plenty of room to unpack and stretch out. I was so happy! Barbee asked what time we wanted breakfast and the next day we came down, told Barbee "good morning" and she presented us with a delicious homemade breakfast of eggs, biscuits, bacon and fruit. Barbee was so sweet and made us feel right at home and welcome. Everything was top notch from start to finish and I loved staying here. We were the perfect distance from downtown Pensacola (5 minutes or so) and we were about 15 minutes from the beach. Extra bonus points awarded for being close to a coffee shop AND the farmers market. We will absolutely be staying here the next time we are in Pensacola. The rooms are reasonably priced, gorgeous, clean and welcoming.

(Leftover from Saturday morning). At the VERY LEAST someone could have made coffee! So, I decided to go ahead and leave. I didn't even stay for breakfast, i just figured it would be just as disappointing. Situated downtown Pensacola, it's near awesome restaurants, walking distance to everything. Now our front desk working miracle person, Alexia, was the only person in the building, she personally cleaned our room and made us her number 1 priority, like she didn't have anything else going on. For that reason, I really don't care about the breakfast or our room was not cleaned, I'll definitely stay here again, just because Alexis saved the day

The New World Inn has a fantastic location near most things in the Downtown area which has a lot of great spaces and places. The New World Inn was originally built as a box factory. The building was restored and remodeled in 1983 to include banquet and events spaces along with 16 hotel rooms with 8 rooms on the ground floor and 8 rooms on the second level. Due to the history of the building there is only a staircase and no elevator has been added to this property. Renovations to the property continued in 2007 with the addition of the 600 South Italian Eatery & Wine Bar which is currently listed as temporarily closed . In 2008 the New Orleans inspired courtyard was updated to a more functional space for outdoor dining and celebrations. In 2016 Skopelos restaurant was added to the location but sadly that restaurant closed in 2021 after 62 years due to damage from Hurricane Sally and the Pandemic. I will say that the price was a bit high for a Days Inn, but the location being in the downtown Pensacola area I guess justifies the price. I like Wyndham hotels when I travel for business and I had been disappointed with the Wyndham properties in Pensacola. This hotel was a shining star for a Wyndham property in Pensacola. I am going to give this hotel an overall rating of five stars.

For those seeking a beach experience, the nearest beach is 30 minutes away and can be reached via a $25 one-way Uber ride. There is a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport and take you somewhere a 3 mile radius which is great when you want to go somewhere. The room was super clean. WiFi worked flawlessly and the television was newer with a decent selection of channels. I ended up forgoing my search and returned to Colorado early. As such I needed a refund for part of my stay. This is a decent size motel with several buildings and lots of moving parts. My exit was quite sudden as I drove back to Colorado in a hurry. The staff was diligent in ensuring my credit card was credited appropriately. The cleaning crew was friendly and kind hearted.
