Room was not clean, requested a new one, but they didn't have one available for the size of our party. The breakfast was not a real breakfast, lacking of hot water for your bag oatmeal, very limited choices of bread or cereal, no fruit and the breakfast sandwich were sad looking. Situated downtown Pensacola, it's near awesome restaurants, walking distance to everything. Now our front desk working miracle person, Alexia, was the only person in the building, she personally cleaned our room and made us her number 1 priority, like she didn't have anything else going on. For that reason, I really don't care about the breakfast or our room was not cleaned, I'll definitely stay here again, just because Alexis saved the day

The New World Inn has a fantastic location near most things in the Downtown area which has a lot of great spaces and places. The New World Inn was originally built as a box factory. The building was restored and remodeled in 1983 to include banquet and events spaces along with 16 hotel rooms with 8 rooms on the ground floor and 8 rooms on the second level. Due to the history of the building there is only a staircase and no elevator has been added to this property. Renovations to the property continued in 2007 with the addition of the 600 South Italian Eatery & Wine Bar which is currently listed as temporarily closed . In 2008 the New Orleans inspired courtyard was updated to a more functional space for outdoor dining and celebrations. In 2016 Skopelos restaurant was added to the location but sadly that restaurant closed in 2021 after 62 years due to damage from Hurricane Sally and the Pandemic. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and I would certainly stay here again. My video review of The New World Inn is here: https://youtu.be/4XP8jaq933U

The hotel provides an outdoor pool, business room, and fitness center. Additional amenities include an ATM, Hilton shop, and breakfast area, with breakfast available at an extra cost of $15.95. Parking is provided free of charge. We stayed at the hotel on 1/6/2025. Check-in is 4pm and checkout is 11am. In your room, you will find complimentary wired and wireless internet access. Every room is equipped to meet the standard hotel room requirements. Our accommodation was the standard king room, which featured a clean room and bathroom. The room included essential amenities such as a fridge, coffee pot, TV, desk, and closet. The bed was remarkably comfortable, accompanied by soft pillows. Overall, the rooms provided a standard Hilton experience without notable distinguishing features. Large-Scale Gym Facility: 4 commercial-grade treadmills, 2 elliptical trainers, 1 recumbent exercise bicycle, 1 Peloton exercise bike, 1 rowing exercise machine, free weights ranging from 3-75 lbs, 1 heavy-duty weight bench, space-saving all-in-one weight training equipment, medicine balls weighing 2-15 lbs, high-quality yoga mats, portable resistance tubes, stability exercise ball, 24-inch plyometric step box, accurate digital scale, and a water cooler. You will enjoy your workout. They do have a pool and a hot tube outside but we did not get to enjoy them during our stay. The location of the hotel is prime, featuring a shopping area across the street and a Sam's Club, Lowe's, McDonald's, and gas station a short drive away. For those seeking a beach experience, the nearest beach is 30 minutes away and can be reached via a $25 one-way Uber ride. The hotel is situated in a safe and secure area, and the staff were exceptional, always welcoming us with a smile, which greatly enhanced our stay. There is a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport and take you somewhere a 3 mile radius which is great when you want to go somewhere. We enjoyed our time at the hotel and plan to return in the future. Overall 4.6/5

This is a cute Little locally owned Vintage hotel right out of the 60's. Very well maintained. A…read morenice little outfit. It advertises they have the largest pool in Pirate'cola right on their sign out front, on Pensacola Blvd, you can't miss it. Recently, moi decided that I didn't like my laundry room, the way it was set up at my new home, here in Pirate'cola. There was a lot of extra unused space in it, so I decided I wanted to add a canned food pantry & half bath to it. We grow a lot of tomatoes, I make a lot of sauce. We make a lot of meatballs.. So, long story short, one day while the construction was going on with all the knockin & bangin, hubby had some very important zoom meetings scheduled so we needed a quick, quiet escape. haha. The morning of our spontaneous planned escape, the weather report said it was going to be 106 degrees. Hotter than a three-dollar pistol in a Prohibition saloon. I remembered passing the "biggest pool in Pirate'cola sign" & right then, it came to me, I just knew, that this was our E ticket ride to paradise. OuiOui. We called up and made a reservation pronto, grabbed our bathing suits & popped right on over for our quick day getaway. Hubby & I grabbed some coffees in the lobby, we were shocked how good they were, everyone was very pleasant, on the up & up. Hubby headed doubled fisted to the room, set up his computer & kicked back in the AC like a Boss, did his back to back meetings, took care of business. That's the way my guy rolls. Business before pleasure, always. No funny business. We then hit the pool for 5 hours straight. It was beautiful. There was no one there but us. We had the whole pool to ourselves. It's yuge & over 8 feet deep. We brought our beach floats, gear, streamed some Sinatra, Lived it up rollin in the deep. Did it our way. We only stayed till 5:30pm as our wise guy construction workers were gone by then, so we went back home, we didn't need to stay the night. Nothing personal, just family business. We did roll around in the bed like gangsters before we left thou. It was comfy. It was very nice. We did some spring cleaning. Very clean job. I joked around, called hubby "Marty" told him it was a stick up & to give me $50 large. The rest is history, I made a oath, code of silence. It was a HOT day. Never let a crisis go to waste. We liked this outfit, we successfully escaped & nobody got pinched. (code of silence) Lookin forward to the next job. Will def return with the Boss man. Coffee's good. Recommend.

There was a funky smell coming from the bed. I couldn't immediately locate the source. I thought…read morethe sheets, then the blanket and pillows and ultimately discovered it was coming from a spot on the mattress. I assume it was the mattress because the sheet looked clean. It was the smell of cat urine. Interestingly, they allow pets in certain rooms. Not sure if mine was one but the smell was awful. Because it was very late ~ 2:30 a.m., I slept on the far side of the bed and changed rooms in the morning. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of traveling workers that stay here. I mean blue collar workers that are doing laundry and staying for several days or longer. It can get loud at night as people are drinking, partying and whatever else. Because it's a motel, people are smoking everywhere. They're on the balcony, sitting in chairs outside their rooms and on the staircases smoking. They offer breakfast in the morning that consists of granola bars and packaged doughnuts. There's also coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange, apple, cranberry juice, and bottled water. Don't get there too late because the juices run out and you will be limited to only coffee and the other hot drink choices. When I went to do laundry, the front desk didn't have quarters and there was no change machine. I was told to put money into the vending machine and press the coin return button. It worked but seems like they need to get better organized/prepared. Also, one of the dryers was out of order. Two separate people told me that it ate their quarters, yet no sign was on the machine. I hope they got their money back. There is a decent sized pool that quite a few people used. Also, the main lobby looks impressive with a double staircase that leads to meeting rooms. However, the rooms don't live up to that initial impression. I wouldn't recommend this place due to the cigarette smoke and loud guests late into the night. (The cat urine smell would have ruined it for me regardless.)
