Looked online, then called a week ahead to order 15 yellow tulips in a vase, with a yellow ribbon, delivered to my grandson's house to carry to his date. Customer service - 5 stars. Called in; person took my order; all went well. About 10 minutes later, she called back because she thought something was wrong with the message -- it was subtle, but she was right; a few words were missing, and it made a big difference. Bless her for noticing!! Come prom day, grandson had a mandatory ball game that he'd forgotten, so no one was home to accept flowers. The delivery person ended up making two trips to the house, on a very busy day -- bless her, and all was done without a moment's hesitation or complaint ... I could not have appreciated them more! Wonderful staff here :). Flower arrangement - 2 stars. Made a quick trip to grandson's house about an hour after flowers were delivered, to put them in the fridge. The blooms had opened slightly -- as expected, and not Wild Orchid's fault. But the flowers themselves were not the classic pure yellow blooms in the photo, the kind you think of when someone says "I love yellow tulips." These were smaller, gold-ish, fringe-topped tulips, and they looked a little more tired than could be explained by the delay getting into the fridge. So did the leaves. Also, some of the most visible leaf tops were missing, leaving ragged, brownish edges. (I've never had a florist feature ragged leaves in an arrangement before.) Finally, no bright yellow ribbon, as described and shown in the photo; instead, a coarse, rough, sticky (??) tie - imagine burlap with a touch of gold spray paint. Changed the ribbon, trimmed the leaves, chilled the flowers... they were okay, but not at all what any of us expected from the photo online or previous experience with florist tulips. A girl has only so many prom nights... it would have been good to have been told "our tulips probably aren't really up to par right now." That was pretty obviously the case. Otherwise, wonderful people. Maybe it was just one bad day.

I ordered a "Deluxe" version of the "Timeless Tranquil" arrangement... 1) The arrangement looked nothing like the picture 2) The quality of the flowers were inconsistent (many arrived wilted) 3) Lack of ownership by Windsor "Florist" Whilst substitutions are unavoidable, do not add whatever you have lying around to fill a vase. Please, at minimum, try to match the original motif of the arrangement purchased by using a color wheel. Purple roses with magenta tips are not a tasteful choice here. Alstroemeria's which are known for being resilient and long lasting arrived nearly crispy. Other flowers arrived wilted. The Florist took ZERO ownership of their craftmanship and had no motivation to resolve the issue. Please spend your money elsewhere!

The bouquet was half as large as the previous order (same price) and while I understand it's 18 months later, I don't think flower prices have doubled or tripled. Bigger than that, I reached out to the company via email a few times and they have not replied. If they'd explained why the major increase in prices, I could try to understand, but no reply. I won't be going back. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I send flowers often and rarely go back to a local shop because they are so good - but I just did with Wild About Flowers! It is now July 21st, and no flowers have been delivered. I received an e-mail confirmation order, but as far as I can tell, the payment didn't go through. I have e-mailed and called several times over the course of the last two weeks, but there has been no answer. I'm not sure what's going on with this florist, but DO NOT order from them. Avoid the headache.
