Looking for reasonable yet quality finish. Then YES.....Bay Frames should be your go to shop. No doubt in that. I have waited nearly 2 years to find a local framer to frame my art works. Bay frames has a decent collection of frames, matting and glass choices. To top it, Mario is very professional and tries to read our interests. His finished work is spotless and right on time. When I say right on time, it is 4 pieces of art work framed in 10 days. I highly recommend the framer. read more

Bay Frames - One of my best framed stitching projects. Totally loved them. - Framing Near Me - Fremont, California

Bay Frames hands down is by far the best framing shop in and around the Bay Area. Granted the craftsmanship and quality are A+++, but the customer service is A+++++++++++. Long story short, I needed a to have two pictures framed in one day, Bay Frames made it happen and did a fantastic job. This will be my go to frame shop for all my framing needs. P.S.The owner and his wife are awesome and dedicated at what they do! read more

Mario and his team did an amazing job for my first customized picture frame. Good suggestion for me to get the the right combination in color & material. Will come back and suggest my friends to come here. read more

I highly recommend Mario's service at Bay Frames. I will definitely go back for future framing/mounting needs. I needed 7 pieces of glass turned into presentation pieces for our conference room at work. Mario was very pleasant to work with and provided great ideas for how to mount the glass and ways to create a good looking product and to do it quickly; he was able to rush the order and turn a normal 1 week job into 3.5 day job. End result is we have 7 simple but classy and professional pieces of art to display; would not have been possible without Bay Frames help. read more

I found Bay Frames on Yelp due to good reviews. I came here to get a glass replacement for an expensive frame we bought overseas that broke during shipment. Bay frames have variety of options for photo frames and glasses at very good and affordable price. The person was extremely warm and helpful. He suggested an affordable glass solution which saved me big $$. The frame was done on the promised date! He did a good quality glass replacement (without damaging the frame) and I would definitely recommend as well come here again in future. read more

My husband and I purchased a handmade ceramic piece of art from Mexico. We wanted to hang it, but was not sure exactly how to do it ourselves. We asked Siri for the closest framing store and it was Mario. Mario is the BEST! He helped us choose the perfect frame for him to make a custom made shadow box. When we picked it up 10 days later, it was absolutely beautiful. Mario passed our expectations of what we had imagined it would look like. He is extremely talented. Thank you Mario for your beautiful work. read more

Took a large format poster to them for framing. Mario was great to work with. The results were a high quality framing project at reasonable cost. Highly recommend. read more

If you want someone with a great eye to help you frame something precious, go see Mario Zuniga at Bay Frames. He makes framing a great experience, with one of the largest stocks of frames I have ever see! read more

This is a great place for picture framing! It is totally worth the drive if you don't leave in Fremont. I had two paintings framed and was very happy with everything. The price is very good, they have a broad selection of frames, the quality of work is excellent and the staff outstanding. I highly recommend this place and definitively will go back for future framing. read more

Came here after reading all the great reviews. Everyone said the price was SO good I had to check. I just wanted to frame a 10x14 picture. Black frame, nothing special. I was quoted $70 which doesn't seem cheap to me for such a small picture! After I asked him about the Yelp deal I paid $50, which still hurt and is not a great deal for me. At least the picture came out good, there isn't much room for error though. read more

I recently picked up my picture yesterday and all I have to say is WOW! Mario did an excellent job and I would definitely go back here again. I don't usually go to frame shops but I know now where to go, definitely recommend this place hands down! read more

Ive been getting my pictures framed here and without fail Mario has always been courteous and prompt. I definitely recommend this place for your framing needs. read more

Bay Frames is as good as it gets for custom framing and related services. I purchased a large painting from overseas and wanted to replace its regular glass with Anti-glare glass. I saw the rating on yelp and decided to call Bay Frames. The lady who answered the phone was courteous and was able to provide the information I wanted. Later, I had a few phone/email conversations with Mario and he explained to me the various anti-glare glass options. I fixed up an appointment for glass replacement. The day when I went to get the glass replaced, he ran out of the specific quality glass we had decided. Instead of having me come another day, he used a more expensive glass and completed the work for the same quote as was decided! The work was done with total professionalism. With this gesture, he has earned my framing business forever. read more

I've gone back to Bay Frames multiple times even though it's a bit of a trek from Hayward. Excellent prices. They did downsize a few years ago, but they still have a large selection of frames. read more

I had a fairly large painting (2' x 4') that I wanted to frame. I went to Michaels first b/c I didn't know anyone else who did this. I was disappointed at Michaels - even with the 50% coupon it was still expensive. I found the frame I wanted but it was out of stock. I asked if he could order it for me. The answer was no. I asked if they would call me when it was in. Again no. He said I could come in everyday and check. No thank you. So, I found Mario on Yelp. He was super helpful. He had a large selection of frames. His pricing was very reasonable and he did a beautiful job. I wouldn't hesitate to go back or refer. read more

Mario was extremely helpful and the turnaround on completing the framing was very quick. Good price and great quality work. Will definitely continue to use Mario's service for all my framing needs. read more

We drove from redwood city just to check out the prices, selection, and service from Bay Frames and they did not disappoint. Mario was very helpful, friendly, and patient while we shopped for a large custom framed mirror for our bathroom remodel. I would definitely recommend this place. It's a little hidden in a small business park, but its worth a trip if you are looking for a frameshop! read more

I recently visited bay frames on a recommendation from a friend. After having gone to Michaels where I spent hours trying to figure out the 'after discount' price it was refreshing to see that bay frames offered just as wide a range of choices and thier 'regular' prices beat all Michaels discount! The location is hard to find but if you have a ton of artwork that needs framing you will save a loooot of money by coming here! read more

I found this place on Yelp. They are super friendly, they are good with helping to choose colors, i was so impressed they have framed 5 of my pics now. Very good customer service. I would highly recommend them. I thought the prices were lower than the competition and much more personable, no waiting line, and great color eye. They also helped carry the pics out to the car. 5 stars! whoohooo read more

We found Bay Frames as a result of a Yelp search. To get two customized framed mirrors, we worked with Mario, who helped us get the dimensions right and select the appropriate width for the frame. He and his team fabricated the product quickly, and personally delivered and installed the mirrors very professionally. A pleasure to work with. Totally reliable on timing. Excellent customer rapport and service. And we can assure you, after looking for stock product from the brand name retailers, quite affordable. Highly recommend. read more

I'm a local artist/instructor and very fortunate to have Bay Frames do all of my custom frame work, I've been using them for years and never disappointed. I have used Michaels's for most of my framing in the past and I will use Bay Frames from now on. Prices, selection of frames, and service can't be beat. The quality of work superior for the price. Thank you Mario for your for your input and suggestions. The art you framed for us look awesome! read more

Great selection of frames, good workmanship, and less expensive than the national chains. Highly recommended.

I called and took my broken glass frame in on my lunch hour. Mario was busy but replaced the glass while I waited. I thought I would have to drop it off and return in a couple of days but he told me to just wait. He IS the BEST! read more

Very nice to deal with. Work done in the time promised. Good prices.

Best framing in the bay! I come all the way from Oakland to get my paintings framed. Prices are great, framing is always done beautifully, and Mario is so helpful and often helps me pick out the best frame. I trust him with all my framing and even though the drive is long, I won't go anywhere else. I'm happy and my collectors are always happy! It's no surprise Bay Frames has such good reviews. read more

This review is long overdue! Just after Christmas last year I was expecting company and the canvas I sent for arrived with a broken frame. None of the big box stores would touch it. They claimed they wouldn't handle anything that wasn't directly from their store. Then I found Mario at Bay Frames. What a life saver. He could have repaired the broken frame but he had so many other beautiful materials to select from that I chose an entirely different framing material - reasonably priced. He was professional all the way - excellent suggestions (when asked), precise measurements and he produced a beautiful final product for hanging within one week to accommodate the arrival of my guests between the holidays! His location is a bit remote but clearly his reputation as a superior framer and frame shop have repeat customers returning on a regular basis. I have recommended Mario to all of my friends and would give him more than 5 stars if it were permitted. I will never go anywhere else. Mario is simply the best. read more

Mario is now the owner of Bay Frames and I definitely like to give him my business. I often have my children's art framed by him. Recently we had an incident where 2 of my 3 framing jobs were done in a manner that would damage the art. I was told by the director of the childrens' art school that the framed art could not be shown in the art exhibit because it was framed incorrectly and that it should be corrected soon. A mat needed to be between the art and the frame, not behind it, thereby separating the art (pastels) from physically TOUCHING the glass frame. Mario could not fix it in time for the art exhibit but agreed to fix it as soon as we could bring it back in to him and he did. The art is beautifully framed and corrected and we will continue to use Bay Frames for our framing jobs. They are professional and have shown that they will do what it takes to remedy a problem. Good businesses really shine not when they never make a mistake, because mistakes do happen...but they shine in the manner in which they SOLVE a problem. Of course, now we know how to not ever have this particular incident happen again - always separate that art from the frame using one of their great mats (yes and with too many options to choose from!). read more
