Fantastic service for home internet setup!…read more Had an initial call with Chris to provide my input on the home layout and the coverage we were looking for in the different areas. Chris was super knowledgeable about the different setup options including Ubiquiti, Eeros, etc. Chris informed that they will take care of bringing all the potential devices to install including the network controller, Netgear switch board, Access Points, etc. Jake was the team member who visited our home for the appointment. I did an initial walkthrough with him sharing all the relevant details including the Xfinity Internet input, preexisting wiring, etc. Jake was quite friendly and shared his knowledge on the different Eero Access Points he brought with him. Jake noticed the possibility of cleaner LAN cord management in the garage using wall plates for which he made a Home Depot visit during the appointment. Overall, all the Access Points were up and running within the time budget discussed prior to the call. Also, Jake helped with the Eero app setup for monitoring the usage. Been using for a couple of weeks now and things are looking pretty good so far in all locations of our home. Strongly recommend this service!

Xfinity kept telling me the "new" box was going to easily pump wifi through my whole house. It never worked and we had multiple dead spots in our house, where wifi never reached. We ended up trying several things, included a second network setup using Google Nest routers. That also didn't work great and we suffered for years. So finally got fed up, and I called BATH and told Ari what the issue was. He gave me a budget, which I bristled at, at first. Then he walked me through a likely fix, which involved a couple routers networked so that I had independent wifi running on both floors of the house but on the same network. The tech came by and was super nice, and walked me through what they were going to do. I was cautiously optimistic. When they were done? I almost cried at how well everything ran through my house. They even set me up so I had ethernet directly to my gaming PC, and direct into my TV and Xbox. I have not had a single issue since (beside Comcast caused outages), and have blazing fast wifi throughout the house (I pay for the gigaspeed Xfinity). I'm finally utilizing the speed as sold to me by Xfinity. Thanks so much BATH. I really appreciate it. I was super impressed with the emails, the invoices, techs being on time, and just the overall professionalism. It was worth the extra few bucks.

We moved a year ago and no one could make my Sonos sound system work, even though it worked fine in my previous home. Friends, family, even the guy that hung and installed our televisions, (at great expense) all said, "this can't be that difficult". But no one could get it to work. A year later the Sonos was still down. Finally, I found Proava Tech with online search. After talking to Daniel I knew he was an expert and loved his job. Wow! Was I happy! He had my system up and running quickly, patiently showed us both how to use it and really important, didn't try to sell us anything. Yes, he briefly mentioned, there are much better Sonos systems now, (mine is 10+ years old), but he quickly said, "But your system is fine"! What a breath of fresh air as every vendor I've had over the past year is always trying to sell me something more. The cost was very reasonable for such expert work. I truly appreciate when a tech quickly understands and fixes the problem. They also do doorbell systems, security systems, tv and stereo. When we consider a new system for anything in our home, we'll be using Proava Tech. When I find an excellent vendor, I save their number!

I needed someone to help troubleshoot my Nest installation; it had suddenly stopped working (and…read morethe previous installers didn't seem competent to fix it). I found Alex on the Next certified installer site (and see that he's still listed). Unfortunately, although I think Alex can probably handle the most basic Nest installation, I wouldn't recommend him. The previous installers had not used standard wiring colors and this seemed to throw Alex off quite a bit; he commented on it several times. Then, although he did use a voltage meter to test the wiring, he also started just randomly touching different wires together. When he got to the common wire, I witnessed the system make a loud electrical popping sound. There was no voltage detected on the common wire after that. He eventually gave up and said I should have the original installers fix it. I worry a bit that he shorted out the delicate electrical components on the furnace, resulting in a $600+ repair cost to me. And I don't think he should be a certified Nest installer. Despite shorting out my system and not fixing the original problem, he charged me $32.

Before he attempted to install the Nest he warned me about potential issues. I asked him to go ahead and sure enough, the wiring that powered my original thermostat was insufficient to power the Nest. Keep this in mind homeowners! I appreciated that Alex didn't try to charge me a fee for attempting to install the Nest and made a mental note to call on him if I needed help with anything else. A couple week's later I had an electrician install CAT6 cabling between my upstairs and downstairs. It never occurred to me that electricians typically do not terminate cables. I called up Alex and he said that he would terminate the cable for me. Not only did he terminate the cable but with extra time remaining he consulted me on a way to streamline my home network to improve my wifi signal strength. For anyone who has a "connected home" with a number of IoT gear, Alex is a great resource to get you up and running!
