Amazing job! Served really fast! Worth every dollar, I was so stressed about my ex leaving with the baby!

So happy I called, Roy is fast and efficient. You can tell he enjoys the challenge, the hunt and the win.

Bay Are Process Servers is an excellent 5+ star company and one need look no further. This review is to thank Roy Cordeiro for his excellent service and care, and to recommend his services bar none to anyone in need of process services. A process server's official and technical duty is to ensure that the part of the U.S. Constitution that promises due process to all citizens under the law, the 5th and 14th amendments, is upheld. Roy not only believes in this, he accomplishes this and does it professionally, respectfully, and with appropriate discretion for the all parties involved including the individual being served. When I hired Mr. Cordeira I had a very small window in which to execute. He immediately put me at ease and assured me things would move very quickly. Mr. Cordeira was -immediately responsive, calling me back within 1.5 hours of my original call, - asked all the right questions, -located the individual without a known address and multiple potential stake-out locations, - was honest, efficient, and compassionate, -easy to reach and communicate with; answering all of my calls and asking appropriate questions without being intrusive or invasive, -stayed in direct communication almost daily until the documents were served and the proof of service filed, - gave daily updates of progress, -never asked about payment until the job was complete and the proof filed, - demonstrated excellent attention to detail, - knows and understands the landscape of process service and works efficiently and effectively with a high level of integrity, -thinks outside of the box and does not complain no matter how challenging the case, -understands the legal boundaries and follows legal protocols to the letter of the law. And although I ultimately decided to file for an extension and push my court date back because of the short period of time in which I had to serve, Mr. Cordeira served the documents and filed the paperwork BEFORE the original court date! 100% satisfied. Bay Area Process Servers is the high standard choice. read more

Had documents served a few months ago and used Bay Are Process Servers. Mr Roy is awesome, very quick communication and serving documents. No BS - He gets the job done. read more

Roy gets work done, period. I hired several process servers before Roy, all of them failed. The guy has been avoiding being served for months but Roy did it within 24 hours! Watching the video of Roy catching and serving the guy was the best moment in 2022 and well worth the money I paid. It is a pivotal date for my case to move forward. Thank you Roy! read more

Roy did super good job helping me. I had troublesome issue and in no time Roy had taken care of it with no guidance, instructions or explanations needed. I highly recommend Roy for any kind of job. read more

Roy is awesome. He managed to serve a restraining order within the same day and pivot a difficult situation into being efficient and very effective. I am so relieved because of what he has done. I am very thankful! read more

In my 2 1/5 years of heavy litigation I have found Rui. He is efficient and effective on its job. He knows how to get the court papers served. If he takes it; most likely it will get done. Rui skills are not cheep but he is good. Also has worked very well with my attorneys. Thats why I could not agree more with the rest of the reviews. read more

We hired Rui to serve some important court documents to an evasive thief who stole a significant amount of money from our family and business Roy was so effective that he was there the following day after I gave him the paperwork and served the individual and also sent me a short video. Amazing work I suggest and if you hire him to give him a tip because he works very hard and he gets the job done very efficient and it's probably not a very fun thing to have to do everyday. To come face to face with individuals who have allegedly done crimes against other people. I'd give him 20 Stars thanks rui! read more

Reviews are 99% real (if you take out the bad ones then it would be 100%). Rui served my papers in 3 hours. He's super transparent and personable. He's quick and great at what he does (I love his method). I rarely ever leave reviews because I don't think a lot of places are 5 stars but Rui is 5 stars. He deserves every single red star on here. I am so thankful and really appreciated his guidance through the process and am so happy I went with Rui. Best day ever since I decided to sue read more

Rui was responsive, dependable and professional. He knew what he was doing. With Rui's help, we served someone that was evasive on the same day I called Rui. I would highly recommend Rui for all your process service needs. Thank you Rui! read more

My first small claim ever in my life and it was very frustrating as the defendant is hiding from the court paper. The first process server I hired not only charging me a lot and they couldn't get their job done. I was depressed that it is so unfair that I didn't even get to go to the court for justice. UNTIL I found Bay Area Process Servers, Roy provided the best customer service, keep me updated on how it goes and even got this mission impossible case served in 48 hours!!! He is just awesome and I wished I read reviews and found him earlier so that I could've save money and time! Highly recommended!! read more

We love Roy! He was there for me and my 83 year old father every step of the way. I was so fearful of my 25 year old son. I told Roy that my son suffered from mental illness and was very violent. Roy was more than willing to take on the job. As a result of Roy's help we got a restraining order, had him served and he moved out. For the first time in weeks I feel safe in my own home all thanks to Roy. Like one of the other reviewers said I'd give him 20 STARS, for me I'd give him 100 STARS. Thanks again Roy, you're a great guy! read more

Totally Incompetent does not communicate 15 calls and 10 messages in a week and no response what so ever. message box is always full.

I needed a TRO served for a second time on an ex boyfriend.. Roy tracked him down in Stockton at his mother's house. He waited several hours outside of the home.. and sent me the glorious video of the serving in real time!!! Roy is the man for the job.. especially if you have someone who does not want to be found... can't wit for my court date!! thank you Roy! read more

Roy is top notch! What other process servers couldn't do in months forcing me to reset my court date bayareaprocessservers did in only 5 hours! If you want your documents served correctly by true professionals these are the folks. Even provided video proof. I will only use bayareaprocessservers from now on. read more

Rui has the greatest work ethic. It was mission impossible to get my papers served because they seemed to be experts at ducking every possible attempt to catch them. These " catch me if you can" deadbeats were ultimately no match for "True Grit" Rui. He " got it done" and in record time. I was able to enjoy my weekend and move on with life. Thanks Rui for jumping in and for the enjoyable conversations as well! read more

Roy is superb. Called him at noon, the other party was served by 1pm. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

BBB (Better Business) has made several attempts to contact the "Bay Area Process Servers - 408-509-0502" referenced our complaints filed weeks ago. Words can't even explain how I feel about Roy and his team(Family). Wow is all I can keep saying. I was praying and crying for a whole year, because I couldn't figure out how to bring my daughters mother and dickhead lawyer to court. We hired 2 different attorneys during the process and after paying them $6000 they still couldn't figure out how to beat my ex and her candy-ass attorney. Roy works on a different level, he's like sent from above. I mean when I felt left out, Roy always had the right thing to say, and the right thing to do. Roy never mentions money man, to try and pay him for what he does is almost insulting. This Gentleman Roy drove 2 hours out of his way to serve my Ex, and even though my ex, and her family were hiding her and obstructing Roy thought outside the box and came up with a clever idea on how we can still serve my ex even though they were hiding her. After 7 attempts to serve the other party they did due diligence and completed he assignment. I love it, the opposing party was so pissed . Right away Roy has your back man, I don't understand how he can have any negative reviews? I guess those people wanted to personally walk over water. Lol Roy Can't Stop and Wont Stop until the assignments complete Roy is like the terminator , he always comes back with justice and honor. Roy your the Man, my hat's off to you and your family. Soon I want you stop by Watsonville on your way home so we can treat you to some authentic delicious Norteno Mexican Food read more

Worst of service and worst of customer service ever. The process server Roy failed his job: 1) the court didn't receive the proof of service. 2) I didn't receive the copy as well. Due to his failure, my hearing date had to get delayed for another one month. I requested for re-delivery of the updated court doc. Roy is rude, arrogant, un-respectful and not willing to. His argument is: 1) he mailed the doc to the court without any evidence. --- no tracking number, and the court didn't receive it. 2) He sent the video of the delivery to me. --- if the video works, why the court need the proof of service docs. The whole thing totally makes nonsense at all and super frustration on the service especially his rude attitude. My lawyer is working on the case against Roy and his company for refund and compensation. Please don't use the service if u don't want this mess happen to u. read more

Within twenty four hours the papers were delivered to my ex who owed me money and he is clever and successful at dodging things both figuratively and literally so I was expecting there would be trouble serving them and the chance they could not be at all given this. Impressed it happened and so quickly at that. read more

We read the reviews and hired Rui to serve someone who was mia and he found and served him in two days. This guy is personable, professional and gets the job done. read more

After getting frustrated and angry at the process server I had hired, National Services, for not being able to serve a wily defendant before the court date, having to file again for another court date ($), National Services had one more attempt to serve before he would charge me another $100 plus stake out fee. I borrowed a friend's car and watched the defendant's house. I ascertain what kinda car he was driving, when he left his house to take his daughter to school and when he picked her up. I talked to National Services asking that he NOT knock at the door again but serve him as he was walking to his car. He did not listen to me. His last attempt failed because he again knocked at the door giving defendant another heads up that he was getting served. I was DONE with his crap. With only a few more days to get this guy served I went to YELP. I read the reviews and picked Bay Area Process Servers.com I called Monday morning and that evening Rui Corordeiro came to my home. He LISTENED to what I said. Tuesday morning I received a text at 8am with pictures of the Wily defendant being served as he was getting into his car taking his daughter to school. I AM A FAN of Rui C. He is all that and more!!! He listens, checks the paperwork (National Services didn't include when sending me back the original summons) and did EXACTLY what I asked him to do. A real gem. Skip the rest and pick the best, RUI rules in the industry of Process Servers!!! read more

Cannot describe how thankful and grateful I am to discover Bay Area Process Servers. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Not only did they go above and beyond, but Rui was very professional and communicative throughout the entire process. In a time of stress and uncertainty, I was put at ease by the level of attention and care he put into my case, he is super reliable, and his performance is beyond anything I have experienced in legal capacity. I was extremely grateful that he texted/ called me and kept me posted and serve my documents on the same day, he also gave me some great advice regarding my case. Without a doubt I recommend Bay Area Process Servers. Rui, thank you so much for your wonderful service, read more

First off, let me just say, that before I hired Rui, I had hired a different company who could not get the job done. This company in question did not pay attention to my special instructions, was not communicative and what ended up happening was I had to reset my court date. I started my search for a different company and Rui responded to my message instantly, was up front about the cost, and was super real right off the bat. I knew he was the guy to get the job done. Since I had problems with the other company communicating with me on my case, I told Rui, that the only thing that I ask of him was to update me. And he did just that. Anytime he would go to the address that he needed to serve he would give me a call and let me know what was going on. The person I needed to serve was refuesing to answer the door and hiding out, so the difficulty of my case was pretty high. Not only was Rui able to serve, but he served way before all the deadlines. Which took alot of stress off my shoulders. So, thank you so much Rui for all your hard work, for being so caring, and if I ever need a process server again, I already know who I am calling. I highly reccomend Rui to anyone who needs the job done fast and right. read more

Trying to serve someone paperwork is not an easy task, it's difficult, time consuming and frustrating. Especially when the person is elusive and unresponsive. Roy made this process easy. He picked up the paperwork within a day of contacting him and had the paperwork served within 3 days! Unbelievable. The person he served had been evading and ignoring me for months until I finally had enough and decided to get it professionally done. Rui is amazing! I called him on Monday late afternoon to serve a subpoena to this shady company. He is so confident in what he does. Beyond the Beyond ... I can't tell how much Rui has done for me during this time ... his effort to serve my TRO has waay exceeded my expectations. I'd heard many other stories about processor servers who simply took the money and said they'd tried ... in fact more bad than good ... but Rui showed that his reputation meant something and without question or hesitation, he took his duties seriously. He was so on point that he even returned my initial call to hire much sooner than any of the other servers that I'd reached out to. Naturally, because of the horror stories people shared about OTHER processor servers - I was reticent. He understood my reticence to hire, and got how important it was to trust ... so after the initial interview to hire -- he went right to work. With dogged persistence, and constant updates of his strategies and successes, I quickly developed comfort in my decision to go with him. There were even times that I was ready to give up because the person he was looking for was so deceptive. But every time that I expressed apprehension, he would bring me back with a confident assurance of "don't worry, I'll find 'em" ... and it was then and every time afterward, that his confidence and consul helped me know that I'd made the right decision to go with him. I can't tell you how great it felt to have someone like him working for me. But I will tell you that he showed himself to be ethical, unimaginably tenacious, and worth the pay in every way. He was to me like Kojak meets Pacino ... tough, tenacious, and unfaltering ... get ready for the CIA in hyper-drive ... and know that this guy is ... Beyond the Beyond. Thanks Rui ... p.s. You know he must be good to have me up here writing a review on Christmas !! read more

I used Barnes Legal Processing last time for the same defendant (for small claims) and he failed in three attempts. We got the judgment and now got the appeal notice.
