RUI IS THE MAN!!! This is my first time navigating the legal system, and I never knew the process of serving papers could be so stressful. The first guy I hired (Kraig at Gotcha Legal - DO NOT HIRE HIM, HIRE RUI) was a [expletive removed]. I gave him THREE WEEKS to serve someone who LIVED IN MY BUILDING, THREE WEEKS for what I thought was a fairly straightforward serve - in addition to Ring cam footage, the guy's license plate #, and access to my building. His team said it was "too hard". My defendant was evading them, and they apparently weren't willing to go the extra mile in order to catch him outside of his apartment. Rui wasn't like that. Rui told me he would "take care of it" - no problem. Really? I said. Are you sure? I had been burned so badly by my first process server that I'd lost my faith in humanity completely. Rui told me not to worry. He would serve him - GUARANTEED. HE WOULDN'T EVEN COLLECT PAYMENT UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE. Rui made ONE ATTEMPT - AND GOT HIM. When I realized my first process server was going to fail, I called Rui and he drove up to San Francisco from Milpitas THAT VERY SAME DAY. He even got access to my building - without my help! Seriously. I didn't have to explain anything to him. He was incredibly competent and knew what to do. He waited outside in his car and texted me status updates while I waited in my apartment. He even made friendly conversation with me as he watched the building (while it was raining, no less). Within two hours, Rui texted me a video of him serving my defendant. It was amazing. I keep watching it over and over again - it gives me SUCH peace of mind to watch this [expletive deleted] being served. Roy was so firm and commanding, not to mention pretty polite, lol. I enjoyed watching my defendant squirm and accept his court papers with defeat, clearly trying to hold onto some semblance of ruined pride. Rui's price was very reasonable, and I was more than happy to pay it (even after all the money I wasted on my first process server - ugh). He's also really fun to talk to - he has a BIG PERSONALITY. I like his straight-talking, no-nonsense attitude. (He's ex-military and from the East Coast.) There are plenty of shady process servers out there, but Rui is legit. He's a good person - definitely someone you can count on while going through life's crap. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO, RUI! Roy is by far one of the most experienced professional process servers I have hired. After many months of trying to locate and serve a complaint and other legal documents against a particular party I have decided to call as many process servers as a currently none of which were able to achieve the task that I was hoping to achieve each and everyone of them got paid for trying However Roy represents excellence I say this because I called his office around 3 AM thinking that he will call me back the next day but not Roy he called me within three minutes after I have left him a message and then picked up the job at around 4 AM and was one of the only process servers that was not only able to locate the person but he actually got them served I was blown away and not only did he get them served but he was able to generate and complete all the proof of service and other legal requirements to the upmost satisfaction! Thank you for your fast and awesome service. Roy was on top of his game. It took him literally 15-20 minutes from when I hired him to serve the RO. He not only served the order , he filed the order. He went above and beyond what I hired him for to ensure that me and my family were taken care of. He always kept me informed and was extremely helpful in getting the police dept to do their job. When I called the MPD to get the restrained person taken for violating the order, they didn't want to follow the court order because they stated it was missing a stamp. Roy got on the phone with the Lieutenant and Sgt of the dept and let them know that this is a court order signed by a judge. He sent them all the info he had because the person in the RO lied and said he wasn't served. Roy sent proof to the Sgt, and guess what now, the MPD police dept then wanted to work with me. Rui (Roy), the owner of Bay Area Process Servers, is the most professional process server I have ever dealt with. I had been trying to serve someone who was dodging service for months! I thought I would never get this person served! The person I wanted served lives in Bethel Island and was very hard to serve. When Roy finally got in and served this person, the person was shocked and asked "how did you get in?" Well Roy obviously has his ways because the person I wanted to serve seemed to live in a fortress! I was referred to Roy by a friend. The reason I needed a process server was because I hired a process server out of Fremont that said his father was a police officer. I needed to find this person and also serve this person. well the process server that said his father was a police officer was a fraud The job did not get done I lost money and time keep in mind this was a big case. Rui worked with my schedule and we went through things thoroughly so he could be sure to serve hime. Thank Goodness i found this. i called 5 different process servers to serve a restraining order. when calling BayAreaProcessServers.com i asked them how much it would cost Ron stated that its a flat fee guaranteed served. i said how many attempts he said it's a flat fee no attempts we will serve it and not charge you until we serve it. i said i don't get it. He said Sir we will serve your restraining order and when its served we will send you a bill and all our prices are on our website. i said how do i proceed? Send us your email address and we get on it ASAP because if we don't serve it we don't get paid. long story short 24 hours later the restraining order was served. keep in mind the sheriff could not serve it. Great Great Service... I need a DV Restraining order served.. Called Rui He came out .. We got Talking for about a half hour.. Great Funny person .. I gave him the order one hour later guess what the person got served.. This guy has what it takes to get the job done.. Remember you pay peanuts you get monkeys.. As you can tell by all the other 5-star reviews, Roy is excellent. I'm just taking a moment to add one more 5-star review. I needed a process server to serve papers for a small claims court case. The turn around was extremely rapid; Roy handled everything perfectly. In my case, the individual was never at his place of business, so Roy performed a substitute service at the defendant's mailing service. .I can't explain the joy I feel in my heart now, Roy's expertise as a sever is very professional and guaranteed. He was on top of it I've was in a very toxic abusive relationship with my Ex to the point where domestic violence didn't stop him he continued to abuse me physically mentally and emotionally for 6 1/2 years I was afraid he kept getting worse with his drinking everyday.
