Visited the La Pine store on Highway 97 today July 21, 2026. This has been the 3rd time I've…read morelooked online for NAPA and it showed the desired part could be ordered online and picked up in 30 minutes. I, again, made a 20 mile roundtrip from Lazy River South and requested the cheapest NAPA air filter for my 1998.5 Dodge RAM 2500 Cummins 5.9L 24 Valve. The NAPA online indicated it could be purchased for $25.89. However, the older gentleman sitting on his stool at the parts station closest to the door indicated that the only available NAPA air filter for the vehicle was a NAPA Gold Engine Air Filter for considerably more. I requested the cheaper one and he claimed they didn't have it. Either he was lying of NAPA online was lying. Regardless, I left the store, drove the 10 miles home and order a Bosch Air Filter 5558WS for $14.38, which I'll get tomorrow. I may be somewhat slow but I'm learning. NAPA countermen are good teachers. They're teaching me not to waste my time and money to go through their NAPA store. Instead, go through Amazon and get the product cheaper in a day and save my time and money.

Talked with Kyle and he recommended adjusting the valves as they had never been adjusted, re-jet the carb to get a slightly richer mixture and smog delete. I also had him put on two new tires. Kyle did an amazing job on the bike and I couldn't be happier. It starts like a Honda should, doesn't backfire and runs better than it did.
