The roof I have now is beautiful! The quote matched the work that was done to the penny. I did my research! I got 5 quotes. I then researched the roofing material brands that were quoted. The material Charlie uses was #2 in quality and there was very little difference (except price) between the #1 and the #2 brand. Reading Charlie Roofing reviews I found only highly positive reviews including one who said if he could give more than 5 stars he would. Well, that is exactly how I feel! If I could give Charlie Roofing more than 5 stars, I would!! I very highly recommend Charlie Roofing!

He arrived exactly on time for the appointment and provided a bid the same day. I selected his bid out of three because I believe in supporting local, small businesses plus his bid was much more reasonable than the other small business. I also referenced checked the heck out of his company, and the products he uses, and was pleased with my results. When I accepted the bid, he called me right away to set the start date and time. On the day we scheduled, his crew showed up on time, on the dot, and began working. They were pleasant, respectful of my property and cleaned up at the end of each day. It was fun watching them work, they were like a well oiled machine. At the end of the second day, Carlos called to let me know they'd be back for a couple more hours in the am to finish up and to make sure everything was cleaned up. We then arranged a time for me to pay him the balance owed and he showed up on time again. Such a great company and business model, I highly recommend Charlie Roofing, Carlos was very respectful, appreciative, and a pleasure to work with. He made the whole process pleasant.

When I call he either answers promptly or if I need to leave a message he will return it usually the same day. I had him out just last week on a remodel project and I was surprised on how many times his phone rang!! Atleast 20 times in the 3 hours he was there. He answered it every time he wasn't 30 feet in the air on a ladder and was writing down customer information in the notepad he pulled from his tool belt. I was joking with him about needing a secretary and he says "I've tried that and customers get poor unhelpful service." With that being said... when his phone isn't ringing.. he is installing the nicest gutters you will ever own. All the corners joints he takes time to cut and form on site. Not like the patched in corner joints a lot of guys use. Also he screws the gutters in with the fancy inside clip things and not those giant ugly nails. I don't write reviews typically but people don't understand the hours and hard work put in when being a contractor. It's a lifestyle and not a 9-5 job. Anyways... he's no BS. Check him out and be patient, he's busy, he does it all

WeatherGuard Roofing installed a roof on our large horse barn in 2016 and provided us with a…read more10-year workmanship warranty. Despite paying over $54,000 for the roof, it began leaking within the first month. Over the next 9 years, we contacted them repeatedly for repairs. The leaks never stopped. They later tried to claim the warranty was only five years, despite us having written documentation of the 10-year warranty. When we met with the owner in 2025, he blamed the leaks on the building itself, saying it wasn't possible to properly roof a pole barn--yet somehow still sold us the job in the first place. We hired an independent roofing inspector who performed a controlled water test, and the roof leaked within hours. He confirmed there is no realistic way to repair this roof because it was improperly installed as a second-layer overlay. We now have no choice but to completely replace the roof at our own expense. In our opinion, this company does not stand by its work, and we feel misled by both the workmanship and the warranty process. We strongly urge anyone considering this company to proceed with caution and consult with an independent roofing expert before signing a contract.

The gentleman who came to our home was friendly enough. He cleaned our roof alright, but I still saw some twigs hanging from the second story level gutter that I can't reach to remove myself. Unfortunately, I didn't see until a few days later. He also mentioned there was a piece of roof that was in need of replacing before winter, but that he couldn't fix it that day because he didn't have any matching pieces. I asked him if he could find out how long to get a piece and come back and fix it. I emailed Patrick after his worker left, but I didn't hear back for some time, so I emailed him again. It was weeks before I heard any response, even then it was to say he has my file and he'll get it sorted out shortly. That was a week ago, I am still waiting for assistance. Needless to say I am very frustrated and I just feel like my business wasn't important enough to warrant better communication. I am still waiting for assistance on my roof and now it is pouring outside. I hate writing bad reviews, but it's been 18 days since the worker was here cleaning our roof/gutters. All I ask is for better communication and customer service. If you're busy, fine, tell me when I can expect assistance.
