They answered the phone, told me to come by and they'd take a look at my tire with a slow leak. They found the problem immediately and fixed it. Not only that, but the tech reset my "low tire pressure" alert (which another shop couldn't figure out on a previous occasion.) Total charge: $15! Fast work, and looks like a good repair job, so I will be coming back here for future needs. And they do oil changes, and other work as well. Convenient location too--close to Costco.

Of course this morning my pressure sensor went off so I had to deal with it. Called them right after they opened and explained the situation, they had time right then and said to come on over. I got there , and 15mins later , the problem was fixed and I was on my way home!!! They were able to get the screw out and patch my tire and all was good!! It was a quick easy fix and the cost was next to nothing!!! Everyone who works there is super nice and friendly. And the waiting area has fish tanks, a turtle and hot wheels set for my kid to be entertained and play with. She was super happy with all that stuff while we waited!!! I definitely will come back here when I need new tires and just for anything tire related at all. They are the best!

Stressed? You know it! Concerned about the work that would be done and how long it would take and what it would cost? Absolutely! Who isn't stressed out when their car breaks down, and they're going to a new auto mechanic??? Greeting me in the lobby were three of the nicest guys who just got into work and were in a better mood than I was... Things were looking up already... Jeff was my repair coordinator, and he immediately put me at ease and let me know that they would do everything they could to get me back up and running ASAP. I quickly booked a rental truck and Ubered to the rental location to get it and bring it back to swap the goods and get back on track. One of the technicians (Scott maybe?) helped me make the swap (above and beyond? Yup!) Quick communication on Coogler's part with some texts and emails told me they had found the problem and were on the case. Estimated time to repair? End of today or tomorrow at the latest. That's fast, I thought... Good news too because I've got more deliveries coming up. 'Tis the season... Fast forward ~4 hours and I'm getting a call from Jeff telling me my truck was ready to pick up (pun intended). What?!?!?! 4 hours and it's done!!! Got back to the rental shop, got one of their guys to take me back to Coogler's, and was back in my truck at 1:30 pm. Since then, a couple of genuinely concerned calls and emails asking if everything is still going well with the truck. Normally, when I do business with someone, they only call to ask if we can do more business. This was actual follow-up and quite refreshing. Will I work with Coogler's again? You bet I will! And if you've been looking for a dependable auto mechanic who's going to do a good job of both fixing your car AND being pleasant to work with, you should too!

My first thought was that it was a loose sound deadening pad in the tire because it was inconsistent. I went to a local small business tire shop in Novato and explained my problem. I asked them to dismount the tires and check the pad. Instead, they just balanced the tire and sent me on my way. Needless to say, the problem remained. Same story at another local tire shop. I made two visits and they still refused to dismount the tire and inspect it. Both places charged me for a balancing. Finally I took it to America's Tire. There, Kevin helped me out and immediately dismounted the tire and found the loose foam pad. He put it back together and balanced the tire. Problem solved! It was very frustrating not being heard by the other tire shops, but Kevin was familiar with the problem and helped me out. I truly appreciate a business that listens to their customers.

I drive a German car, and while I'm happy with the new tires and feel much safer driving now, the reason I'm not giving five stars is because when I left, one of my sensors was going off. Their system showed that I needed to drive for about 20 minutes for it to reset. I ended up setting a timer on my phone and driving around until it cleared, which it eventually did, but I was also running low on gas, so the whole thing was a bit stressful. Before leaving, I wanted to make sure the sensor was accurate, but it ended up being something I had to follow up on over the phone with Kevin later, which was fine, but when you're spending over $1,000, that's the kind of thing that would be nice to have double-checked before sending someone on their way. Especially with more particular cars like German vehicles that have lots of sensors. That said, I really appreciate that they offer free tire rotations every 5,000-7,000 miles, and the team works fast and efficiently. Overall, I'm happy with my tires and would come back. One small recommendation: one of the bathrooms had a broken sink, and there wasn't any hand sanitizer available. With so many people using the restroom, it would be great to have that fixed. All in all, a solid place with good pricing, friendly staff, and efficient service -- just a couple of details that could be improved.

Ava was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in scheduling our appointment. We have a 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman that we keep in Northern California (we live mainly in western NY State), and we keep this car in the Mendocino area. it needed a repair to the coolant system. Our small-town very good mechanic in Fort Bragg diagnosed the leak (thermostat housing), but couldn't fit us in for over a month, and we couldn't wait. Ava at Bavarian Performance got us in quick, they got the needed parts ahead of time, and the car was finished on time, as scheduled, and we were able to pick it up the same day we dropped it off. Since it needed a brake job, we had them do that too, same day. Bryce explained everything we needed to know, and what we could expect, and they stuck to the estimate. Good work like they did doesn't come cheap, but I really feel they did a high quality job, on time, in full, no errors! The shop is nearly spotless, and I think that is a sign of meticulous work. We mentioned that we are planning to drive the Mini back to New York in a month or two, so Bryce said they'd look everything over at no extra charge to make sure the car (13 years old now!) is ready for the trip. They recommended we keep an eye on two of the tires (we knew that!) but assured us all systems are functioning well. I'm not anticipating any problems, but this 13-year old Mini is bound to need something in the future. I won't hesitate to go back to Bavarian Motors. For us, it's a 3-hour round trip, but worth the drive! read more

Inspection 1 Service performed here Friday. Also replaced failed window regulator, removed and reinstalled oil filter housing, replaced housing gasket, Vanos oil line, power steering suction and return hoses, reservoir, alternator belt tensioner and idler pullies, alternator and a/c belts. They also bleed power steering, cleaned and renewed the power steering fluid. These guys went above and beyond for a very reasonable price. They use good oil filters and good quality oil. You can walk over to the Costco complex nearby to pass the time. The guy in the office was very friendly and knowledgeable. Seemed like they were doing quite a few larger repairs on older cars: things like brakes and rotors; replacing worn suspension parts; repairing leaks, etc. Thankfully I don't need any of those repairs yet, but I will keep this shop in mind when the time comes for bigger repairs. One thing is that they don't do tire installation, I think because it's a smaller space.

I was referred to European Sales and service by a friend who had a similar issue with their AMG…read morethat was successfully resolved here, so I came in hopeful. I spoke with Jerry and explained my long history of mechanics attempting repairs they thought would fix the issue, only to be wrong. Jerry assured me they would properly diagnose the problem and get it resolved. After their diagnostic, Jerry told me I needed a turbo coolant system and a radiator replacement--which was surprising, considering my radiator had just been replaced and had under 100 miles on it. I trusted their expertise and agreed to the work. Later, Jeremy informed me that this did not fix the issue and that he was confident new spark plugs would. After spending about $6,000, I was then told that the real issue was actually a blown head gasket. I picked up my car still dirty, undrivable, and no closer to a solution--despite all the work done. Essentially, a lot of expensive troubleshooting was performed without actually fixing the problem. I took my car to another mechanic, who ran proper tests and determined the issue was not the head gasket, but something entirely different. At that point, I called Jerry to ask what specific tests were run to confirm a head gasket failure. He couldn't clearly explain which tests were performed, the paperwork was vague, and he said he would call me back. I never received that call. Given the cost, lack of clear diagnostics, and poor follow-up, this experience was extremely disappointing. I expected more transparency and accuracy, especially after being reassured multiple times that the issue could be properly diagnosed and fixed

Raul noticed there was a few other things my car needed since this is my work vehicle. I decided to go ahead and proceed with the additional work. When I picked up my my vehicle. He showed me which parts were replaced and he showed my old parts. I am extremely grateful that he gave my car an inspection and gave me the choice to get those parts replaced and installed as well. When I left, I felt like I got a great deal and Raul had my car running like new. I had turned my car into Raul on Wednesday and had it back Friday!

It leaked even after the repair. Travis took the car back 3 times at no charge to fix the stubborn issue. We will continue to come here for all our auto repair needs. It is clear how immature and unprofessional Travis is by his response to my honest Yelp review. In it he publicly calls me names that that I'm too polite to call him, while accusing me of trying to destroy his business.. Pretty low class in my opinion. He'll probably do it again. - Still angry in Marin.

I went here from a personal recommendation from a friend who's family has been going to them for many many years. It is hard for me to trust a mechanic and I plan on keeping our service business with them for many years.
