A REAL Army Navy store. The owner is very helpful. Shirts, hats, flags, camo gear, boots, pins etc. Shopping there is a fun experience. :)

Battlezone also does custom tee shirt and embroidery! The owner, Russ is always super helpful and all of his staff always have a smile.

I stumbled on this gem during my summer holiday. They have a tight lil setup, lots and lots of…read morestuff in there (i.e. jackets, bags, pins, hats, you name it) piled up all around which is ok if you're comfortable in closed quarters. There is literally a narrow line to weave thru in the event there are say more than 7 people, aside from the staff browsing throughout the shop. A lot of the good picks can be hard to buy depending on the season (i.e. there was a dope fishing boonie that was neat and the perfect size for me however it was floor model only and likely previously fitted by many individuals). This is my first time to a physical MIL surplus store as I typically shop online for them and had no knowledge before my visit that this particular one was in operation for well over 50 yrs, kudos. One thing though is that if you plan on returning or exchanging anything you should discuss all the details PRIOR to purchase. For myself, def learned this the hard way as there was some gear I bought, accessories and tees (pd in cash) but changed my mind on some of them after a couple of days. Then I checked online and their store policy is 5 days with original receipt. So I returned with my goods, namely a T-shirt and was told it is NON-REFUNDABLE due to it being "underwear" and the fact it "touches your body". I was thinking "ok..." and my face def showed it, as this was the first time in my life that I heard of a business that bent their return policy. Maybe it was because of the fact that I paid cash for my gear, not sure and the owner did not want to refund me, but I got past it. But as a heads up, if you do think you may have any sort of wrinkle with a return it prob is better to put it on your charge card so you can work it out with the issuer/card company for any disputes. Overall 2/5.

Paid for Premium Shipping -- Item Still Hasn't Shipped…read more I placed an order with ArmyNavyUSA.com on 02/19/2026 at 9:41 AM PST. At checkout, they offered three shipping options: Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and UPS -- with UPS being the most expensive option. I chose UPS, assuming the higher cost meant faster or at least prioritized handling. It is now February 26, 2026, and the item still has not shipped. When I reached out to customer support, I received this response: "Unfortunately the UPS option is not a fast shipping option." That explanation is baffling. If UPS isn't faster, why is it presented as the premium-priced option? Charging more for a shipping method that doesn't actually expedite processing feels misleading at best. After looking into the company's reputation, I noticed their Trustpilot rating sits around 2.3 stars, with numerous reviews specifically mentioning slow shipping and poor communication. What's even more concerning is the pattern of nearly identical owner replies apologizing and promising to "improve processes," while the same issues continue months later. At some point, repeated apologies stop meaning anything. Paying extra for shipping, waiting a full week without dispatch, and receiving vague explanations is frustrating and disappointing. Transparency matters. If processing times are long regardless of the shipping method selected, that should be clearly disclosed before customers pay more. I'm genuinely curious to see what generic, templated response will appear under this review. Hopefully it includes more than the usual "we're working on improving." Buyers should read the reviews carefully before ordering. Also just look at the photo they have on Google Maps...look at the front of the store...do you want to order from here?

This was the WORST customer service experience I have EVER had…read more I placed an order OVER a week ago, and it still HASN'T shipped, so I called to cancel the order. The male representative I spoke with was EXTREMELY unprofessional and disrespectful from the moment I said I wanted to CANCEL. He responded with a condescending tone and said, "Are you aware NYC has high restrictions on using batons?" I replied that yes, I am aware, and I have purchased from your company before. He then QUESTIONED me further and asked for information to verify if I had actually made a previous purchase--as if that had anything to do with the current order. What does that have to do with the fact that my order hasn't even shipped? If you are TRULY concerned about customers being aware of local restrictions on the items you sell, then you should clearly post that information on your website--ideally somewhere visible BEFORE checkout--so customers can read it and make an informed decision before placing an order. I firmly stated that I wanted to cancel and receive a refund regardless of whether the item ever ships or not. At that point, he began to "WARN" me that if I canceled this order, the company would not process any of my future orders. I actually laughed at how absurd and unprofessional that sounded, and I told him that was perfectly fine. He then abruptly said he would issue a refund and hung up on me IMMEDIATELY. BYE~

Been here twice already on Saturdays for the 12-4PM session…read more Price: On the verge of being expensive. We've been to other fields in the tri-state area and this one is a bit pricey. $40 for a 4 hour session is a little much. Other fields I've paid $20 for a full day. This is further compounded by the number of players on the field resulting in half of the groups sitting. More on that later. Staff: Great Staff is great and they REALLY focus on safety. Zero tolerance eye protection which is a must and they REALLY enforce it. Don't take your mask off or adjust on field no matter what or get kicked out for a game. This is critical because of how many little kids are playing. It takes one eyeball lost before news crews show up and now the community is in the spotlight. They are doing what they can so everyone can play and that might mean things are rushed. Also as a result, it's usually TDM (Team Deathmatch aka team vs team). With the number of kids here during this time I get it. Field: CQB. As with most indoor fields, it's a CQB field. (Close Quarter Battle). Which means rooms and hallways and winding paths. No minimum engagement distance (aka no bang bang rules aka you can be shot point blank range). No full auto. No binary. No trigger feathering (use two fingers to shoot faster). No gas grenades. FPS: 380 for AEG and 350 for HPA I believe. Sidearms need to be chronoed (tested for speed). Number of Players: 40+ from 12-4PM sessions on Saturday One criticism is that the staff are trying to do the best they can with balance and number of players. Both times I've visited, the groups were so large they had to chop each session into short rounds with half of the players sitting in alternating rounds. The rounds get shorter for each group and they end up sitting for about 10 minutes between rounds. For $40 that's a bit annoying but again I get it. I think it's almost unnecessary because most of the players during this time are little kids and they are a bit afraid of pushing out. So the field was mostly empty. Possibly a safety thing. Not sure. But I think they could keep the groups together and keep more players on the field. Especially if there are a lot of first timers. Being a parent, it's tough to try and do 10pm+ session for adults. Would like to see adult sessions once a month during the 12-4 period. Hoping it would be better and more intense. New Players: I went with a few buddies and as more experienced players with our own equipment, we were swarmed by little kids asking questions. We're all down for helping others so we didn't mind but they seemed a little lost and unsure as to how to use the equipment. Not sure if they were given a briefing on their weapons prior. Also being rentals, there are a lot of on field issues we helped resolve. Maybe putting a staff member on the field to play with them as a "squad leader" might be cool. Also if annual memberships were a bit cheaper, I'd definitely get one. Tiered memberships maybe? $500 would be good with no more than two sessions a month. $750 unlimited.
