Paid for Premium Shipping -- Item Still Hasn't Shipped I placed an order with ArmyNavyUSA.com on 02/19/2026 at 9:41 AM PST. At checkout, they offered three shipping options: Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and UPS -- with UPS being the most expensive option. I chose UPS, assuming the higher cost meant faster or at least prioritized handling. It is now February 26, 2026, and the item still has not shipped. When I reached out to customer support, I received this response: "Unfortunately the UPS option is not a fast shipping option." That explanation is baffling. If UPS isn't faster, why is it presented as the premium-priced option? Charging more for a shipping method that doesn't actually expedite processing feels misleading at best. After looking into the company's reputation, I noticed their Trustpilot rating sits around 2.3 stars, with numerous reviews specifically mentioning slow shipping and poor communication. What's even more concerning is the pattern of nearly identical owner replies apologizing and promising to "improve processes," while the same issues continue months later. At some point, repeated apologies stop meaning anything. Paying extra for shipping, waiting a full week without dispatch, and receiving vague explanations is frustrating and disappointing. Transparency matters. If processing times are long regardless of the shipping method selected, that should be clearly disclosed before customers pay more. I'm genuinely curious to see what generic, templated response will appear under this review. Hopefully it includes more than the usual "we're working on improving." This was the WORST customer service experience I have EVER had. I placed an order OVER a week ago, and it still HASN'T shipped, so I called to cancel the order. The male representative I spoke with was EXTREMELY unprofessional and disrespectful from the moment I said I wanted to CANCEL. He responded with a condescending tone and said, "Are you aware NYC has high restrictions on using batons?" I replied that yes, I am aware, and I have purchased from your company before. He then QUESTIONED me further and asked for information to verify if I had actually made a previous purchase--as if that had anything to do with the current order. What does that have to do with the fact that my order hasn't even shipped? If you are TRULY concerned about customers being aware of local restrictions on the items you sell, then you should clearly post that information on your website--ideally somewhere visible BEFORE checkout--so customers can read it and make an informed decision before placing an order. I firmly stated that I wanted to cancel and receive a refund regardless of whether the item ever ships or not. At that point, he began to "WARN" me that if I canceled this order, the company would not process any of my future orders. ArmyNavyUSA just gave me literally the worst "customer service" (I use the phrase very loosely) I have ever received, bar none. I placed an order from California. It didn't get shipped to me. When I called to discuss it, the "customer service rep" (he was nothing of the kind) instantly began arguing with me, talking over me, putting me on hold repeatedly, and generally being disrespectful toward me. I literally could not get out a single complete sentence without being interrupted. His supervisor was more of the same, before he hung up on me. No one would be give me a name, either when I asked repeatedly. These guys are rude, crude & lewd. I mean, you really gotta WORK HARD to be this bad at your job. They have the best customer support I've ever seen! I placed an order for BDU uniform sets, and they called me saying that the sizes I wanted were not available in a certain brand, and they replaced the items with a higher priced brand, but kept my price to what I originally paid for. The next day, I found out from my employers that our uniform pattern changed, I called R&S about my concern, and they were accommodating enough to change my order for the 2nd time. If I didn't live 4 states away, I would gladly drive to their location and buy their staff some coffee and donuts. Thanks again! read more

If I could give this store negative 5 stars I would. I ordered something from them online over a month ago. I would check the status of the item and it would say processing. Now when I look for the order on my account it is not even there anymore. I still have not recieved the item and three seperate times I have emailed them to which I have yet to recieve a reply. I have tried calling them but no one seems to answer. Next stop is to go to better buisness bureau to file a complaint and then to my bank to try and get my money back. On 11/26/2017 afternoon, I purchased items from this company online but I found the items at a more convenient place. I was unable to cancel the order from the company's website. The order would not display for cancellation. So, on 11/27/2017, I called ArmyNavyUSA about 20 minutes after the office opened. I spoke to Rxx, a representative, to cancel the order. He stated that I could not cancel because the order had been processed. The item, however, was still in the warehouse but would be shipped in 20 minutes. My credit card transaction had not been completed. If I cancelled, the rep stated that I would then be charged a restocking fee. He was uncooperative and rude. According to their online cancelled policy, I should not be charged because the item had not been shipped or the credit card processed. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The rep stated that he was the only one. He was the one in charge. He also said that I should think twice about buying an item on line before my next purchase. I received a shipped order email 30 minutes after my discussion with the company representative. The body of the email said the item was shipped at 12:00 am that morning. When I checked the USPS tracking number, it stated the item was in pre-shipment at 12:05 pm and awaiting pick-up. The 12:05 pm time was a few minutes before I received the shipped confirmation. After viewing Yelp, I see that this unscrupulous policy with online purchase cancellations is the norm. Please do yourself a favor, do NOT order or buy anything from this store offline. I called three times and spoke to three different staff members (including the supervisor), to cancel my order that has not been shipped or processed yet. The first worker told me that my order cannot be cancelled because it was being processed and orders can not be cancelled when they are in processing mode. After this call, I checked on their website and it says that an order can be cancelled as long as it has not been shipped or entered the shipping process. I called back and told the second worker this. She told me that my order is on the truck and is ready to be shipped. I told her I wish to still have my order cancelled because I was not provided with any tracking number so how do I know she is telling me the truth about my order. Then, the supervisor came on the phone who told me that my order cannot be cancelled because it is in the "shipping processing phase." I told him again, I have not received my tracking number or any sort of email after the order confirmation email was sent 4 days prior. Overall, just do not do business with this store or company. I placed an order online at ArmyNavyUSA.com the 3rd week of November 2011, I though I'd be clever and order some Christmas gifts... As of today 01-30-12 I still haven't received two of the items. The first item shipped more than six weeks after I ordered it. Not quite in time for Christmas. On the acknowledgement I received after placing the order it said "NOTE THAT YOU WILL ONLY BE CHARGED AFTER YOUR ORDER HAS SHIPPED!". They charged my credit card for the full amount within 24 hours after placing the order! If this practice isn't illegal, it's certainly not a good business practice. I sent e-mails inquiring about my order which were not returned... This might be a great store to walk in and purchase something but I certainly would not buy online again. a very refreshing surprise to find a "real" Army & Navy store these days. this one is pretty nice and well stocked.

There are not a lot of Army Navy surplus stores in Queens, at least within decent commuting range from work or home. So when I came across this store on the internet and looking all that it had to offer I was surprised. Even better it was a very quick commute by public transit from work. A few weeks ago I visited the store because I was thinking of upgrading my backpack. I was very impressed at the inventory and it just blew my mind that this was a stone's throw from my workplace. This is where the pleasantries end. I settled on a Rothco medium olive drab pack, because at the time it seem to fit perfectly with what I wanted. When I got home, I absentmindedly (and foolishly) removed the tags. This decision will haunt me. Somewhere along the way I realized that this isn't going to work out for me for it was just as bulky as my ALICE pack. So I kept my old pack in use for the week and had decided on returning it in exchange for a slightly more expensive Slingpack by Fox. Because of work commitments, it took me a week to get around returning it back to the store. Now I was fully aware that they did not have a refund policy (only exchanges and store credit). So there I was with receipt in hand, a week later, with a very UNUSED (and I do mean never used) and in perfect, resaleable condition backpack. I spoke with a person that seemed like the head honcho, and went over the receipt and everything seemed okay until he started asking about the "tickets" that was the pack. Turns out he was asking about the tags (a price tag...which I'm sure he could easily create ... and tag with the brand name). As I said earlier, this would come back to haunt me. So despite the fact that I had a receipt and was returning a perfectly unused, resaleable item ... in exchange for a more expensive sling pack ... I was told with subtle drama that because I didn't have the "tickets", he could not take back the item ... for it was impossible to sell. I kid you not. Let's recap: I was returning a bag that was NEVER used, and I was willing to shell out extra dough to purchase Fox slingpack (btw compromising on the style in favor of the camo... I wanted Black but all they had was ACU camo and Tan), and I was refused simply because of two pieces of paper. A price tag and a brand tag. It was as if I showed up without a receipt and stained bag. Needless to say, I ended up taking the stuff back home. And spending a bit more on Amazon to purchase the sling pack with the right color (black) that I wanted. Turns out that they were featuring the same pack on Amazon but the reviews about it was so awful that I think being turned away from the store may have helped dodge another bullet (sort of). In case you're wondering, the company Condor sells a similar pack and had better reviews on Amazon ... and was slightly cheaper than the store. Go figure. So what have I learned from this: when buying from stores with "no refund policies" use credit, that way you leave the item and cancel the charges. Oh that's right, R&S won't have to worry about that from me because I won't be returning EVER to that store. So far Sportsman Guide and Amazon will supply my army surplus needs. So be forewarned: they have a no-refund policy and for the love all things under the great blue skies, if you must return something for an exchange, make sure you have the "tickets" on them. read more
