DON'T BUY BATTERIES FROM HERE!!!! Bought a "new" battery from them in mid-September, car was working fine in the meantime as I drove it for two months. Early this week my battery started making the clicking noise when attempting to turn on, which I took into AutoZone to get checked. I was told the battery was dead. I then drove to "Battery World" to see if I could get a replacement as it had only been (2 months) since I bought it. When arrived the owner took a look and tested it however, had an attitude and made a stupid remark stating "I had left a light on and that's why it drowned the battery." Assuming, this turned into a heated argument. I completely agree with the feedback of another costumer of his shop, "the owner was completely unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and AT ONE POINT GOT IN MY FACE." He kept stating I was at fault the whole time. Meanwhile, I had my younger sibling with me whom had to watch all of this go down. All I wanted was a replacement battery for the moment, whether it was used or not, as I need the vehicle to commute to work. He refused! Told me to come back later in the day and that he had no batteries to give me. You run a shop filled with batteries but don't have a "spare" I find this complete bull$@it! He eventually removed himself from the situation without saying a word, "afraid"of a 20 year old and his younger sibling, whom just wanted a replacement battery to get to work. This is the place to get new batteries. I have replaced the battery in everything from a BMW M3, to a Yukon Denali and many others. They will pull the battery and replace with the new one. Amazing! My car was having issues with the battery so I came here to have them check it out. I've seen this place since I was a kid driving through santa fe with my dad. Way back in the 90s I remember seeing this place. I never thought I'd be a customer. So I went in and explained what was happening, and the guy tested the battery and hooked up a little box inside the car and we figured out the battery was bad. He quickly installed a new one and the car started fast, alot more crank, you can hear and feel the difference. Went inside and paid. I was in and out in 5 minutes. It was smooth and effortless. I needed a new battery for my Razor and called around town. I found Battery World hidden away in Oceanside. I called John and gave him my specs and he said he had a dry cell option for less money than the dealer wanted for a wet replacement. I ran down to pick up the dry cell and was greeted by John who had my battery ready to go. I really appreciate that John gave me the best experience in getting me a replacement quickly. I called this place before i started driving to them to see if they had the battery and if they would install, the guy said yes no problem. When i get there the "owner" comes out asking me why i am just getting here. I said "because i talked to your employee and he said it wouldnt be a problem getting here at this time" (*it was about 15 min till close on a Saturday. They close pretty early) So the guy i talked to comes out and said "ok i will sell you the battery but i cant install it". He completely went back on his word. I told him that in our phone conversation he said he would also install and then he lied telling me thats not what he said. I record all my phone calls btw, for worm purposes. He starts getting mad at me and then the "owner" comes out mocking me waving his hands in the air while childishly mumbling "ooooh ooooh ooooh" I prob took it far when i called the employee that lied to me on the phone a liar. However at that point he started cussing me out saying "you know what go man get the f#*! Out of here, f#*!ing dumb*##" *older guy in his 50s maybe, tall, speaks english and spanish What kind of business does this man. They had it in stock and quoted a price that was lower than Walmart so I wasnt sure what kind of battery to expect but it was pleasantly surprised to see that it was an ACDelco. Battery World specializes in batteries for your car, cart, truck, motorcycle etc. I didn't see any watch, hearing aid, etc. batteries. I was impressed with the help I received from these guys. They had the best price. When I drove up they waved me to a spot and started changing out the batteries. Their service was excellent. They did exactly what they said for the cheap price they said they would. Roy (Reyes) said they often get blemished batteries, blems as he called them which would make the price even lower. DO NOT GO HERE. it's fine if they don't sell you a defective battery. I've purchased two batteries here for two different cars. The first one was fine. The second one died at 15 months. AAA did tests when they jumped it and determined it was the battery. I checked the interior of the car to make sure no lights were left on. I took it straight to Battery World and they told me it wasn't the battery and asked what I wanted to do. They wouldn't honor the warranty because, "Warranties are only defective batteries." A battery that dies at 15 months is defective. They said they ran tests that accounted for the jump, etc. Total BS. I then drove straight to Firestone. They, of course, confirmed it was the battery. Battery World is dishonest and you're better off paying the extra 30 bucks or so and going somewhere else. You can also buy a battery at Costco for under $100 and AAA will install when they come out. 90 bucks installed is hard to pass up, but it can end up costing you. read more

I just bought this battery less than 2 yrs ago at Walmart. I could tell he wasn't honest, so I took it over to Car Quest 1 block a way where the guy took my battery hooked it up to a meter where he showed me the reading....PASS. Not one thing wrong with it. A friend jumpstarted my car and recommended I replace it at Battery World. I have zero experience with cars and the man who helped me was so awesome!
