DON'T BUY BATTERIES FROM HERE!!!! Bought a "new" battery from them in mid-September, car was working fine in the meantime as I drove it for two months. Early this week my battery started making the clicking noise when attempting to turn on, which I took into AutoZone to get checked. I was told the battery was dead. I then drove to "Battery World" to see if I could get a replacement as it had only been (2 months) since I bought it. When arrived the owner took a look and tested it however, had an attitude and made a stupid remark stating "I had left a light on and that's why it drowned the battery." Assuming, this turned into a heated argument. I completely agree with the feedback of another costumer of his shop, "the owner was completely unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and AT ONE POINT GOT IN MY FACE." He kept stating I was at fault the whole time. Meanwhile, I had my younger sibling with me whom had to watch all of this go down. All I wanted was a replacement battery for the moment, whether it was used or not, as I need the vehicle to commute to work. He refused! Told me to come back later in the day and that he had no batteries to give me. You run a shop filled with batteries but don't have a "spare" I find this complete bull$@it! He eventually removed himself from the situation without saying a word, "afraid"of a 20 year old and his younger sibling, whom just wanted a replacement battery to get to work. He got his workers to step in for him whom were also very rude. Owner: Male in his 50's probably. White/Hispanic Very childish. That's not how you run a business buddy! Don't buy from this garbage place! read more

Great prices and even better service! Bought from Battery World twice now. Both times I called in for service and I was received promptly and kindly. I got a better deal on the two batteries for my cars than I would have anywhere else. I purchased the batteries on separate occasions, however installation for each battery happened on the same day. Now Battery World is my definitive go-to for anything battery related. These guys are awesome. Thanks again! read more

Great customer service! Visited Battery World for an Interstate battery with extra cranking amps. Found Battery World prices to be very competitive. For my battery, they were the lowest in the area. I will revisit Battery World for future batteries. HIGHLY recommend you visit Battery World for your next battery purchase. read more

This is the place to get new batteries. I have replaced the battery in everything from a BMW M3, to a Yukon Denali and many others. They will pull the battery and replace with the new one. I would estimate that this would be a savings of 40% or more to any potential buyer of a car battery. Don't let the dealers do it. Keep it local. read more

This place lost a whole family and friends from having any business. Owner talks about this and that like he knows it all and when you trust his word and business you will find yourself in a horrible situation I bought a battery 3 months ago I called him twice prior to my battery being dead this morning my car was giving me a STOP CAR lottery the battery sign he said it was something else computer said it was the battery but of course because he is" always right" I went with him today and he said we are closing comeback tomorrow I said can you please replace it? He said no. No warranty no nothing. I can't lose another day at work for trusting him I'm in this situation. Amazing! My car was having issues with the battery so I came here to have them check it out. I've seen this place since I was a kid driving through santa fe with my dad. Way back in the 90s I remember seeing this place. I never thought I'd be a customer. So I went in and explained what was happening, and the guy tested the battery and hooked up a little box inside the car and we figured out the battery was bad. He quickly installed a new one and the car started fast, alot more crank, you can hear and feel the difference. Went inside and paid. I was in and out in 5 minutes. It was smooth and effortless. I recommend these guys to anyone looking to get good service and good prices on car batteries, because places like pep boys and Auto zone are super expensive. 5 stars all the way! read more

I want to give a big shout-out to Daniel at Battery World Oceanside, CA. I recently had a chance to buy a used Club Car golf cart that needed batteries. I shopped around and found this local business that offered reconditioned batteries that better suited my limited budget. Daniel was very patient while I coordinated with the seller for the date and time for the battery removal and installation at the seller's residence. I highly recommend this company for your battery requirements. Call Daniel for great service. read more

I needed a new battery for my Razor and called around town. I found Battery World hidden away in Oceanside. I called John and gave him my specs and he said he had a dry cell option for less money than the dealer wanted for a wet replacement. I ran down to pick up the dry cell and was greeted by John who had my battery ready to go. I really appreciate that John gave me the best experience in getting me a replacement quickly. They were polite and very helpful. read more

I called this place before i started driving to them to see if they had the battery and if they would install, the guy said yes no problem. When i get there the "owner" comes out asking me why i am just getting here. I said "because i talked to your employee and he said it wouldnt be a problem getting here at this time" (*it was about 15 min till close on a Saturday. They close pretty early) So the guy i talked to comes out and said "ok i will sell you the battery but i cant install it". He completely went back on his word. I told him that in our phone conversation he said he would also install and then he lied telling me thats not what he said. I record all my phone calls btw, for worm purposes. He starts getting mad at me and then the "owner" comes out mocking me waving his hands in the air while childishly mumbling "ooooh ooooh ooooh" I prob took it far when i called the employee that lied to me on the phone a liar. However at that point he started cussing me out saying "you know what go man get the f#*! Out of here, f#*!ing dumb*##" *older guy in his 50s maybe, tall, speaks english and spanish What kind of business does this man. From the lack of honesty to the owners childishness and the employees disrespect, it is by far the worst business experience i have ever had. read more

Battery World specializes in batteries for your car, cart, truck, motorcycle etc. I didn't see any watch, hearing aid, etc. batteries. I was impressed with the help I received from these guys. They had the best price. When I drove up they waved me to a spot and started changing out the batteries. Their service was excellent. They did exactly what they said for the cheap price they said they would. Roy (Reyes) said they often get blemished batteries, blems as he called them which would make the price even lower. They also occasionally have some used batteries. All in all it was worth my time to drive to Vista. And that my friends is damn surprising. Mike read more

Recommended by a friend so I called them for a battery for my Ford Focus. They had it in stock and quoted a price that was lower than Walmart so I wasnt sure what kind of battery to expect but it was pleasantly surprised to see that it was an ACDelco. They offered to install it for me but I said I was ok doing it on my own. Thank you Battery World in Oceanside! read more

I just purchased an AC Delco battery for my classic car at Battery World. First, hard to find this brand battery. Second I wanted a replacement for my AC Delco and not another brand. Found Battery World via a google search so decided to go check out. It is located in the old part of Vista close to Civic Center Dr. Nice to support these independent business establishments. The place is old school and grungy and that is cool. Wide variety of batteries including for RVs, hlowri read more

The most pleasant, new business experience, I had in a very long time. Their battery prices quoted were the lowest, when compared to those in San Marcos and Escondido. Friendly, very professional, quick service... And they protected my OBE data!! Showing me that they were thinking of their customer. I highly recommend Battery World for all your dead battery woes!! read more

Great service! Friendly and polite staff, very congenial. Fast installation, only took a few minutes, and so much less expensive then elsewhere! Even with tax, my total was almost *half* of what I'd been quoted previously. They're even with my hybrid and it's specialty accessory battery. read more

Excellent service. I had to get a new battery for my car when it died while waiting in line to pick-up my kid at school. I got it jumped and headed right over. They were friendly and non-judgmental. DO NOT GO HERE. it's fine if they don't sell you a defective battery. I've purchased two batteries here for two different cars. The first one was fine. The second one died at 15 months. AAA did tests when they jumped it and determined it was the battery. I checked the interior of the car to make sure no lights were left on. I took it straight to Battery World and they told me it wasn't the battery and asked what I wanted to do. They wouldn't honor the warranty because, "Warranties are only defective batteries." A battery that dies at 15 months is defective. They said they ran tests that accounted for the jump, etc. Total BS. I then drove straight to Firestone. They, of course, confirmed it was the battery. Battery World is dishonest and you're better off paying the extra 30 bucks or so and going somewhere else. You can also buy a battery at Costco for under $100 and AAA will install when they come out. 90 bucks installed is hard to pass up, but it can end up costing you. read more

I have used this company twice and have been very happy each time. Pricing is excellent and customer service was great. They even helped me install the battery and made sure I backed up my cars computer memory before we swapped it out. I will definitely be back next time. read more

I stopped by to see if they could check out my battery out of my boat. And the older man(owner?) instantly told me it was no good. His worker went to hook it up to a meter and he instantly started telling me es no bueno. Tried to tell me that it was swollen and no good as he headed into the shop to get me a new one to PURCHASE. I just bought this battery less than 2 yrs ago at Walmart. I could tell he wasn't honest, so I took it over to Car Quest 1 block a way where the guy took my battery hooked it up to a meter where he showed me the reading....PASS. Not one thing wrong with it. It has plenty of juice. BATTERY WORLD IS A RIP OFF. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I am a female and he tried to take advantage of me. SHAME ON YOU OLD MAN. YOUR THE ONE THAT IS NO BUENO. read more

This place is awesome! My car wouldn't start and I soon discovered the battery was dead for the first time since I got it (it's a 2001). A friend jumpstarted my car and recommended I replace it at Battery World. I have zero experience with cars and the man who helped me was so awesome! He gave me a new battery, explained everything he was doing, and even etched the date into the new battery incase I lost my receipt so the warranty would still be valid! Very helpful, nice, informative, and not to mention a fantastic price. I would definitely go back and highly recommend them to everyone, these guys really care about their work! read more
