The staff is always very nice and helpful. Their recycling credit is comparable to other recycling places.

It was my first time there, and I recall, pulling up to this location with a line out the gate, however, don't be fooled because it goes by super fast. There is an employee that guides you into a parking spot as soon as someone else is leaving. They have bins for glass and bins for cans or plastic all ready lined up. There were so many employees walking around and making sure that the process goes by faster and being a first-timer was intimidating. However, the employee that helped me was really nice and basically did everything for me. He led me towards the counter. They calculated it and paid me. This process all happened under 10 minutes. As soon as I left, another car took my spot. Their prices are listed clearly on a sign and I believe the cans are worth more than glass bottles, but I have not tried plastic bottles. read more

Easy in and out! I've been going here for years for our bottles and soda cans. Simple to-do for beginners... just take these steps: Pull in and grab a couple netted carts. Empty your bottles and cans in separate carts. Be SURE you've removed the caps from your plastic bottles, but keep them in with the bottles themselves. Roll carts to the guys in between the two windows. When they pull them, go to the window. They hand you cash and a receipt to sign... and you're done. Easy cheesy. :-) read more

It's convenient to Highway 78 and the people there are friendly and helpful. The other customers are also very nice and have helped me move my bins forward to the weighing station. A new innovation yesterday was a staff member pointing to the best open parking space. Also it's kind of fun getting $2.00 bills sometimes. read more

It's a dirty game, but someone's got to play it. Bring your scraps, cans, bottles, etc and they will find a way to use it. You will always find it's a bit of a losing game. Hours of collecting trash cans and trash cans full of bottles and tins and then you throw them in their containers and you get pennies. It may not seem worth it, but it kinda is. It's for sure better than not recycling at all. I know most cities have trash and other city pick ups, but this is for the person who goes out of their way. Living with a hoarder we found the need to recycle about a truck bed full of flattened boxes, so we brought them here and wandered around for a bit only to realize it's in the back for cardboard. I'd been here before for cans, but never thought to pay attention to the other things. Since everything is by weight you drive around back, avoiding the fork lifts and tractors. They see you and will avoid you too. Cardboard directions: Drive thru the weigh station, unload, re-weigh and then get your ticket for payment up front. There are no instructions or directions or assistance really. You kind of have to know to know or just stand back and watch because even the people recycling aren't the kind to use Yelp or be helpful. The staff can be hit or miss, but i do love how they'll pay you with $2 bills, which we all know isn't currency, but good luck charms. read more

I just need a place to dump my carload of boxes (some broken down and flattened, some not). I called these guys up and they said to just drive on in. They had two large dumpsters labeled "Cardboard". I emptied my car. Didn't even have to talk with anyone. In and out, easy peasy. read more

My local place closed last year (good riddance!) and so I've been making a trek to Vista to bring my CRV materials to Quality. What a difference! I used to have to try to schedule for some random "off" time (like 9:42 Tuesday morning) to have a chance to get in and out of there in less than 3 hours of waiting in line in the hot sun...only to get a voucher that I had to take elsewhere to get money.....well, with Quality, the few trips I've made so far have been a totally different experience! With room to pull right up to the bins, friendly people helping me figure out what goes where, no waiting and in-and-out with cash in hand in less than 5 minutes. I even got a 2 dollar bill (along with some other denominations!) Fantastic! Keep up the good work! read more

It's my first time recycling my plastic bottle, I went on a Saturday morning/afternoon before they close. The gentleman working that day was very helpful and was helping me sorting my plastic bottles for example water, bottles, monster cans, energy drinks, alcohol bottles etc. I really like their customer service. I definitely will come back again. I was happy that I got around $45 for just recycling plastic bottles. read more

Love this place! My first trip to Quality Recycling was an eye opener. You drive in, usually in a line of other vehicles and are directed to a bay to unload your recyclables. Then someone comes up and assists you unload your vehicle and help you put the bottles, plastic and aluminum in separate barrels. What a pleasant surprise. Owner a complete jerk. Wish I could give zero stars. Came here to get some boxes... came another time before workers super friendly gave me some for free. Manager found out started yelling at me and the worker...told the manager I will pay for them that is not a problem do you take credit card I have no cash on me. Said you know what just take them they are my property And I don't want to see you here again!! Yelling at me!! So I unloaded the boxes and left. Please take your recycling items elsewhere. this man doesn't deserve them. What grown man yells at a woman like that. Complete disrespect. read more
