This is a SUPER fun either date or friend group activity!! I would absolutely recommend going sat or sun to enjoy their 50$ AYCE tacos,mimosas/beer, AND batting! It is super funnn! Me and my friend love baseball but we have never hit a baseball in our lives and it was still pretty easy! They are very organized and all of the employees are SUPER nice, we had a few questions since we had never been, and they made you feel super at home! They lend you bats and helmets, or if you'd like you can rent "nicer" ones for 10$ We visited for my friends bday which we let them know when we were being seated and they sang her happy bday AND brought a little cupcake out, so touching I loved it! DEFINITELY will be going back! read more

$50 per person for 2 hours of AYCE tacos, mimosas, beers and batting. They had steak, pork, chicken and vegetarian options. Overall they were good, but a little too salty for my granny taste buds. If you want to bat, you sign up at the front for 15 minutes as a group. We were able to do this twice within the 2 hr limit. It was a good experience, batting is a lot more difficult than it looks so those two times were enough for our group of 4. Theres a decent amount of parking in front of the building so I wouldn't worry about it too much. read more

Batters Box - Mimosa - Batting Cages Near Me - San Diego, California

Great time spent celebrating a friend's birthday here. I arrived earlier than the reservation time yet they still sat me down and served me mimosas as I waited for everyone else to arrive! 20% gratuity fee added for parties of 6 or more, so total ended up being $60 per person, even if you don't eat or drink for 2 hours, batting cage times every 30 min (I think) unlimited tacos and beer or mimosas. I do hope part of the tip earnings they automatically add goes to the taco stand as I did notice they had their own tip jar... read more

We came for brunch on a Saturday morning at 10am with 10 people. You have to make a reservation and 10am is the first spot. If you're early they will let you in and you can get started! The cost was around $50 per person and included bottomless mimosas, beer, and tacos! They also brought the cutest little cups of fruit for the mimosas. The servers were very attentive and kind. The tacos were chicken, carne asada, and adobada and were delicious. The batting cages were great and there were plenty of cages for us and the other guests. You have to leave after 2 hours because they bring another set of people in and there were a lot of people which is why I think the first time slot is the best. There are some parking spots in front and they were empty since we were in the first time slot, another good reason to do 10am! Highly recommend, can't wait to do it again! read more

Stoked to stumble upon this spot! Had a blast visiting for the weekend bottomless drinks and tacos. I enjoyed that its not only beer and champagne, but soft drinks and Gatorade as well. The tacos were great and we loved all the topping and salsa options. Each person in our party had a chance in the batting cages and enjoyed the choices to do either softball or baseball. I went for Sunday Brunch. It was my friend's bday party. It was super fun. You get a wristband for all you can drink, eat, and bat. They have a lot of picnic tables and some high tops, so this is a great group or date idea. Our table has champagne, orange juice, and Mexican beers. You serve yourself. The taco guy made some good tacos. Flavorful, juicy meat and not shy on the guac. The only negative was the confusion of how to sign up for a batting cage slot. There's 15min spots and you should just be able to give your name for the front counter clipboard. We still got in a good amount of batting and it was fun overall. read more

Honestly a great experience in general. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pricing was great for all you can eat, drink, and bat in the cages. Food was delicious and did not have to wait for very long. The ability to alternate between enjoying a good meal and drink with friends, then being up to bat was great and seamless. read more

Saw this place advertised on tik tok and thought what a cool experience this would be I had no idea they had something like this in San Diego. We recently came on Sunday with a group of 6 and oh my gosh what a GREAT TIME!!!!! We haven't had so much fun in soooooo long!!!! I highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family! Bottomless mimosas, all you can eat tacos and you can get some swings in sign me up! Everyone is so nice and attentive I have nothing but great things to say about this place! Great vibes and great tacos. The pollo y carne asada were bomb.com, very flavorful and a good size. When ordering they have $50 bottomless tacos and mimosas/beer Saturdays and Sundays, regardless if you plan to drink or not. I think this place can get hella busy but when we went, there were a lot of cancellations so it wasn't too bad at all. We got to bat multiple times so not a long wait. I will say I wish they were better about giving warnings before they close. It was our first time and I didn't realize they closed at 4PM. They announced their closure at 3:55 pm and when we went to get one last round of tacos they turned us down and that mess SUCKED (mind you it's a Saturday). Aside from that I'd highly recommend this spot for a group outing, specifically a brunch since they close pretty early. Also they have baseball and softball machines, if you plan to bat @ 80mph (their highest speed) you'll need to have someone feed the pitching machine for you since it isn't automatic - any lower speed is automatic. If you're really about that life I'd recommend bringing your own bat so you have the right size. read more

I love this place! My wife took me here for a day date and it was great! The all you can eat tacos and all you can drink beer was awesome! The food was delicious! The batting cages were great, it just needs a little fine tuning but overall great! Best of all was the superior service that was given! Everyone made sure you were well taken care of and that everyone got equal time in the cages! read more

A super solid batting cage! My son is newly into baseball and we came here cause our other spot was booked. They use real baseballs which was a huge bonus to practice with. Only downfall is the amount of balls before u have to break and reload read more

We heard about this brunch experience and couldn't pass it up, drove down from OC and had the best time!!! The service was awesome, Chuy was a great server and made sure our drinks were always full! The tacos were so good especially the Al pastor and the best part was the cages! We had such a good time and the two hours flew by but was totally worth it for the price. Recommend bringing your own bats and batting gloves if you have them but if you don't they do provide all equipment. We will definitely be coming back! Such a great time!!! read more

Came for the $50 all you can drink mimosas, beer and all you can eat tacos. This sounds way better than it actually is. The place was PACKED so that meant lines. Line for the bathroom, line for the tacos, line to book a time to use the batting cages. Which you can only reserve for 15minutes at a time. The all you can drink/eat gives the illusion of getting a good value but all in all it was overpriced. $500 for 10 of us. 2 hour time limit and I'd say everyone had 2/3 beers, 3/4 tacos and 5 minutes of actually using the batting cages each. Coming in a smaller group would help with using the cages but everything was just mehhh. Owners probably make a killing on the weekends. read more

We came for the brunch on 1/24 and it was very fun. Tacos were delicious and service was very helpful. We will definitely come back soon

We celebrated my birthday here with a big group and it was honestly one of the most fun birthdays I've ever had! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for our group. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and just had the best energy the whole time. The setup was perfect--batting cages, bottomless mimosas, beer, and tacos... what more could you ask for? The food was so good, and the drinks kept flowing. It was the perfect mix of activity and hanging out. Everyone in our group had an absolute blast taking turns in the cages while cheering each other on. What really stood out was how accommodating the staff was with a large group. They kept everything organized, made sure we always had drinks and food, and genuinely seemed excited to help us celebrate. If you're looking for a fun, unique place for a birthday or group event, this is it. Amazing vibes, great food and drinks, and an unforgettable experience. I would 100% do this again. This place is a joke- overpriced and there's lacking customer service. Paid $50 for 30 minutes. I was with a large party that wasn't informed that we only had a 2 hour window. We came for the Sunday brunch deal and had a great time! The tacos were good, they continuously refilled our drinks, and they provided everything needed to do the batting cages. This place is really nice compared to other batting cages. They even have some exercise equipment if you want to get a quick work out in while waiting for your cage to open up along with 2 TVs to play some video games! Service is not great and cage prices are too high. Would not recommend for the price much better options exist.

What is the memories of the first time you had stepped into the Automatic pitching machine where you had to wear the hard batting helmet? For the many that like to be at the batting cages and get to work off the stress and the feel of the bat in your hands gets that inner beast ready to go and eye on the ball. Baseball and the use of batting cages and the sports stores you find them at can be the large department sporting goods stores for the ones that don't like batting cages. you can hit the field and work on your hitting with a pitcher or the baseball coach. Where the Baters Box the center of the Midway and Rosecrans business area the many memories can go back as far away when the many events took over the Sports Areana. Where the Batter's Box is located the was one of the best places that kept you up to date on the many events and some of the best music that you could buy from the firsts of Van Halen and the Tours that came to the Sports arena. When you think back the many people that would come to the TOWER RECORDS yellow and red store where you could get the best tickets many times the area around the Sports Arena was electric with the concerts and the long lines you would have to wait in to get tickets. When I see the batter's box it's going to be one place that will be crowded with the kids that will be starting ball for the little leagues and the girls will be stating in the yellow ball fast pitch can be one to watch yes women can pitch. The close location to the Sports Arena it will be for many people that will come by and ask," Do you sell tickets here at the Batter's Box? They do but for the many events they have at the store location with the batting machines and the pitching help they have there. As an Elite Reviewer the many locations that were near the Sports Arena you buy music and the video collections series and get your most waited for concert series. The changing times and the new stores that have come to the Sports Arena that has given a signal the Sports Arena is changing, and many new businesses have come to the Sports Arena and the surrounding area. read more

Came here with my buddy this past weekend and was disappointed. Majority of the baseballs and the bats were in terrible condition. Seemed like they hadn't been replaced in years. Baseballs are not expensive, I don't know why the owner(s) don't care enough to get quality stuff for their patrons. We also booked an hour and definitely only got 45 minutes before we were essentially kicked out, with another group taking our place. Has potential but no attention to detail here. read more

My adult baseball team has gone Batters Box a few times and has really enjoyed it. It's well lit, greatatmosphere, great machines that throw real baseballs. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
