My husband purchased a vehicle battery from Batteries Plus in Papillion, NE with a warranty. Approximately one year later, his vehicle would not start, so he returned to that location to have the battery evaluated. The employee assisting him, Eric, immediately stated the issue was not the battery but something in the vehicle draining it. He is not a mechanic, yet confidently dismissed the possibility that the battery could be defective, and refused to honor the warranty. To avoid further back and forth with this employee, my husband took the vehicle to a certified mechanic for a diagnostic. The mechanic confirmed that the battery was in fact faulty. He returned to Batteries Plus, this time visiting the Omaha location on North 90th Street, hoping for a smoother warranty process. Unfortunately, Eric was working at that location. When my husband explained that a mechanic had confirmed the battery was bad and he wanted to proceed with a warranty replacement, Eric questioned where the battery had been because it appeared dirty and stated, "You f**cked the battery up." His tone was confrontational and dismissive. When my husband calmly asked to speak to a manager, Eric stated that he was the manager and accused my husband of escalating the situation simply for requesting further assistance. We expected professionalism and assistance, especially when addressing a warranty claim supported by a mechanic's diagnosis. Instead, we experienced hostility and unprofessional treatment. This place doesn't even deserve a 1-star rating more like a zero. I went in at 8:40 a.m., and the employee was extremely rude compared to the day before. He told me to search something on Safari, but he said it so fast that I didn't understand what it was called. I didn't want to ask again because he already seemed annoyed. When I politely asked if he could type it out for me since I couldn't find it, he responded, "No, I'm not touching your phone." He then told me I needed to "learn how to use Safari" and said, "Well, you need to fix that," in a sarcastic and dismissive way. He made no effort to help or guide me and was very disrespectful. I told him I couldn't find it, wished him a good day, and left. He continued staring at me rudely and didn't say anything back. If you don't like your job, don't work there and if you're having a bad day, don't take it out on customers. Very disrespectful place. read more

Purched a lithium battery for my boat with a ten year warranty! Battery went bad after 2 years. Was told i must have done something wrong for the battery to have died these are great batteries. After2 days of going round and round with them them they did agree to replace the battery. the next year same problem. This time they told me that because there was not enough volts in the battery that they could nothing for me. They said they have been having nothing but trouble with these batteries and there was nothing they could do. I scheduled an appointment on their website to have my apple watch battery replaced. Approximately 30 minutes before my appointment I received a call from a representative from Batteries Plus indicating they don't currently have the battery my watch needs in stock but the store on Blondo street does. They even called that store to let them know I would be there. I hop in my car to make the 30-35 minute drive when halfway there I receive another call indicating that the Blondo Battery Plus store does not have any batteries (the ones they have are defective), It's a country wide issue. Actually, I understand that happens. The frustration is that: 1. Their website should not allow you to make appointments for apple watch series one battery replacements if they do not have batteries in stock or batteries are defective across the country. When they get batteries again, they can then allow for the website to take appointments for that service. Would save both the store and the customer frustration. 2. The store representative should have known in advance of the battery issue and not to send me to another store. I wasted time and gas making a 40 minute roundtrip as he caught je about half way there. I know the representative does not care and will go on with their day. But it is frustrating. All could have been prevented just with a little knowledge and effort. 3. The representative, if they did not know, should have called the other store to verify they do indeed have a battery that would work and not defective before sending the customer off to the other store. This is a franchise business, losing customers over these kind of customer service errors is not wise for the business. There are competitors who can and will replace you if you don't get these kind of service issues worked out. Not your best moment. I took my remote starting now to get a battery because there's a button attached to my keys that unlocks and locks and I asked him to check both of them and he sat there and argued with me and wouldn't check any of them. Learned a lesson. Never take an iphone for repair to a company that is not authorized by Apple. In replacing my battery they cracked my screen. Replaced both battery and screen with parts not approved by Apple so you don't know what quality you are getting. About five weeks later cheap replacement screen cracked on me while the phone was in my pocket. I have never cracked a screen in my life before this. read more

There's finally a good place to get batteries in the southern half of Omaha. They have a good selection of odd little batteries for ATVs, tools, and electronic gadgets. It's also a good place to go for flashlights, LED bulbs, and CFL bulbs. On this first visit, the associate was helpful and knowledgeable, but somehow I got the unspoken vibe that I was interrupting something, even though no other customers were in the store. read more

Took iPhone in for battery replacement. They charged $70! Not knowing better I assumed this was the going price and paid it. Later found that iFixOmaha just 5 min away fixes it for $29. Getting overcharged aside, the phone would die at 10% charge after their repair and the battery performance screen wouldn't show data. I presume they didn't do a step in the software in conjunction with the physical battery replacement. Didn't have the receipt, so out of luck. Took to iFixOmaha to get it done right. It 2016 I went there and had problems. Here it is around 5 years later and as in life, you get a second chance. Believe me, it was worst than the first. The young kid didn't know how to open my fob and damaged it which is another issue that has to be addressed. The new battery they put in I had to go back cause it was dead...just like their service. They could not find my lifetime guarantee but it was probably cause the problem I had in 2016. The only reason I went there cause it was late but at the end of the day, their battery did not work. Dropped my phone and the screen shattered. Call them and had an ok price on a replacement. Left phone and went back to work. Showed up with 1 minute left till they close and the guy told me he had already counted the drawer and I would have to wait till the next day. STRIKE 1. Picked up phone next day, came back one week later cause of defects in the screen and some dust or particulate left on the inside of the glass in front of the camera, told me that my warranty was void told me there was a chemical inside my phone destroying the screen (cause I drop my phone in chemicals all the time?) Assuming they just didnt want to do the work. And they guy who did the work was not in my opinion very customer oriented poor attitude both times I had interaction with him. Also bought LED bulbs from here and they have a 5 year warranty, brought back 2 after 2 years and was told they dont carry them anymore and my warranty was bull. I do not reccomend for phone replacement or bulbs. read more
