After a full life of be active, I have found myself almost completely confined to a mobility scooter for about a year now. You never realize (or at least I didn't) how much you can become dependent on one, therefore, when you are in need of batteries for these things, you need someone that has the smarts enough to help you instead of just making a sale. I recently purchased a scooter from CL which stated it had new batteries. Well it did, but they were the wrong ones. Adam at Batteries + Bulbs in Beaverton, Or. has just made a customer for life. Starting my day off with an engine that wouldn't start wasn't my ideal day. I remembered that my battery needed to be replaced so I charged it to get a started engine and texted a friend to ask her where the best place to buy a car battery was. She mentioned batteries plus and their great service. Perfect! I went straight there to ensure that my car would not have this problem again. I couldn't have asked for better service. The men at the counter were friendly, knew exactly what I needed for my car, and replaced the battery in my garage opener, as I remembered while I was there that it needed to be replaced. It was an easy transaction. I paid for the installation of my car battery, which was worth the cost. They took care of everything and answered all my small questions. Online ordering was nice & easy however the website indicates that they will install the battery for free...not the case. Only on select vehicles & locations will do it for free. And of course they don't indicate which vehicle or locations. The installation charge was $29.99 negating ANY savings that I got by going there. And after complaining they did agree to knock it down to $20. I won't be recommending this place & will go back to dealing with my "local" parts store. read more

I needed a new battery for my husband's s hat (odd, but perfect for nighttime dog walking)! I took the hat into Batteries Plus and learned not only were the batteries dead but the wiring needed repair. The friendly and competent sales person told me to wait a minute; he'd rewire the connection. After just a few minutes the hat was "reconnected" and working perfectly with its fresh batteries. I came in for an iPhone battery replacement. I didn't even know I could do this, but so happy someone told me about it. I booked online (you get $10 off when you do this!) and the whole process was completely painless. I dropped my phone off, ran some errands, and by the time I was done, the phone was ready to pick up. A new battery saved me $1000 on buying a new phone - basically life changing. I definitely recommend this if you're experiencing battery issues. This location was also surprisingly busy so be patient with their small parking lot. read more

This review is for the Tannasborne Store. Although well meaning and polite. having my iPhone battery replaced here was a disaster that has stretched into weeks. Quoting me a 10 minute repair time over the phone, there was 10 minutes of paperwork before they took my phone. They told me again it would take 10 minutes to repair it. When I returned in 15 they said they would just be starting it! 45 minutes later they told me it was broken! Promised to order me a refurbished AT&T phone. I picked it up on the following Monday, took it to be activated and was informed it was an unlocked Verizon phone. No problem, except it had a bad battery! They ordered me another one, no problem! This "refurbished " phone is eligible for the iPhone 5 battery replacement program! So now I get to go to the Apple Store to have the repair done. I strongly advise you do not use this store for phone repair. read more

I had my galaxy s5 phone screen replaced. They used a cheap Imitation/Generic phone screen.

They wouldn't price match their sale online and still didn't give me my $10 off just to replace the screen on an iPhone.

Great service today to replace a previously purchased cell battery that didn't last the 12 mo warranty. Showed me it was partly the battery but partly the phone's damaged charging port. Nice guys. I went in with what I thought was a dumb question: Battery for car clickers? The very welcoming employee reassured me they replace many every day, then fixed my 2 clickers for me - total $8.00. (Toyota had said I'd need to buy new ones for a couple hundred dollars apiece.) He then replaced the overhead light in my car for me - total $5. (Toyota said it would cost $50 for them to do it.) I sure saved a bundle! He also was able to explain all the household light options these days and gave me a very helpful brochure about them. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.
