Location on Main St is sadly closed, but I still purchase their deodorant online. Hot Southern Mess is my favorite! My husband likes Steam and Honky Tonk Man. I like those scents on him too! I've tried Honey Pear which is nice, but I still prefer Hot Southern Mess. The milk scent isn't for me, but it's not bad either. My friend likes the Gardenia scent, but it's way too strong and flowery for me. They wash off easily, and keep me pretty fresh compared to other deodorants. I absolutely loved this store!!! The customer service was stellar, and they even gave me a free scrub for my birthday!!! The scents that they have have are to die for plus they have a try me section. I tried the hand scrub and omg!!! My hands have never felt softer. I also bought the heel glaze because no matter how much Loiton I pit on my heels they always end up being all funky. I've used their glaze twice and they already are looking nice! I will def be a regular at this store!! read more

This is hands down my FAVORITE bath store! The boutique is so charming with the Chandaliers and lighting, and the way everything is organized/ set up. You feel like a queen when you walk in. And I have tried pretty much everything in the store now. My VERY favorite things so far are the large bath bombs, and the almond face scrub. My 12 year old daughter swore we needed to stop in this store so we drug our family of 6 inside. We were greeted at the front door by a wonderful young lady handing out free samples of body scrub and body butter. My husband and I are huge fans of fall, so of course we sampled the "Pumpkin Butter," body butter. My husband instantly said "I want to eat this." So I know I had to snag that, then another employee inside told us about the body scrubs. Naturally, we started smelling everything and came across a Lemon Body scrub that we couldn't resist. We didn't feel like we could jump on the bar soap train just yet, so we ended up with the body butter and body scrub. We cant wait to use the scrub! read more

OMG! The best smelling soaps ever! We wondered in there while walking the strip of stores and SO GLAD WE DID!! Everyone in there was so friendly & helpful. The place was clean & well organized. It's about $8 for a bar of soap, so I didn't plan to walk out with 6 of them, but I couldn't help myself!! Will definitely be buying more. read more

Very reasonably priced. The workers took time to make your custom scrubs look nice. It is always great to pamper yourself and feel like "that girl" every once in a while, but I liked it so much I might get some of there items regularly. I bought several items from here a lite over a week ago. The chocolate milk mask comes in a powder and is difficult to make work. I couldn't tell that it pulled anything out of my pores and it didn't leave my skin feeling softer. The shower streamers didn't really have much fragrance after the first 90 seconds. The bath salts smelled nice but I didn't feel like they did much for my skin - I doubt two tsp is enough to make a difference in a large tub of water so I used a generous amount and still nothing. The bath bombe was okay. The candle didn't put off much scent. I heard the story of how they started and being from here but opened in Arkansas more times than I cared to in a 15 minute or so visit. Not sure if I'll go back. read more

The staff and the products are amazing. I keep going back for their whipped soaps and body butters. I've started to love their foaming body scrubs too. The variety of scents throughout the year are wonderful. I also use their muscle jelly which works well with my sore muscles. This is definitely a place to check out. read more

Im cheap but this place is worth the money. First for they have almond soaps which smell amazing. Then my hands were dry so I wanted to just sample the body butter. But then I realized my hands were moistened better (much better) than regular lotion. It goes much, much farther. I bought it for $15 and I think it's worth it (again I'm cheap). The customer service is 5 stars as well. If you talk to them you will learn they are number 1 in the Midwest for handmade soaps. Guys should come here too! Honey almond soap and sandalwood vanilla body butter go 5x as far as my regular soap and lotion. Not expensive for what you get. Please give them a try. read more

While out shopping I stopped in this massive soap shop. It was pretty but it felt like an outlet mall. I have somewhat sensitive skin so I prefer knowing all the ingredients and staying away from chemicals. After grabbing a few slimey pieces of soap and a few odd smells, I decided to head back out and keep walking down main street. I wasn't a block away when my hand started to itch really bad! Then another block, it was burning! At this time I was passing yet another soap shop and I wearily went inside and told them about my hand. THE OWNER of the shop came and helped me by quickly grabbing a gentle scrub followed by a calming oatmeal soak for my hand. After about ten minutes the burning and itching had begun to stop. The difference between these two shops was night and day! This shop was beautiful, I got FREE help from the owner (not some teenager with a script to read) and the products actually were good for my skin! I'm never going back to the bathhouse soapery, and will be buying all my bath needs from provenance soap. Two blocks down for a world of difference is well worth it. read more

This is one of my favorite stores on Main St. I have loved every product I've purchased. I've tried the soaps, bath bombs, scrubs, lip balms, and body butter. I don't ever want to go back to regular soaps again. Everything is so good for your skin and the workers are so helpful. I bought the toner from this shop and it dried out my skin. I have spent a fair amount of money at this store on their facial care line and have had good luck with the products but this one was a miss for me. When I called to see if I could return it, the manager seemed to be under the impression that I did not know how to put together a skin care routine. She also seemed incredulous that this product did not work for me, saying that this was the first time she had ever heard of this (although I doubt that I am the first person for whom a product did not work). Keeping in mind that this is a $12 purchase, she curtly informed me that she would have to get permission from BS's headquarters. I have never had such a negative experience with a small business. Also, I double checked the receipt and there is nothing printed on it that indicates that returns are not accepted. When they finally "let" me return the item, the manager shorted me $1.50. I did not bother to even point that out--I just wanted to be done with the whole experience. I will not buy products from here again. There are plenty of other options, as well as a fabulous soap shop about a block down from this one. I hope this place know what they're doing because they will not keep customers with such poor service. read more
