Bath Fitter offers a "Life Time Warranty" but in small print which they don't tell you, you have to notify them first, even if your house is flooding. You can't use any other source of service. Palmetto Bath came out on 12-18-2022 and finished a nightmare job. Called Bath Fitter and they came out and gave me a quote but never returned because I was doing a civil lawsuit on Palmetto Bath. The manager said this would be a conflict of interest if they redone my stuff. It is almost as if they would worry because maybe they cannot do a finer job themselves. Installation of product and product itself, no problem. We all know it's the SERVICE after the sale and mine has been one misstep after another. The installer is here for the 5th time! Yes, I said the 5th time. The owner has not contacted me after I sent hi a letter on Dec. 21, 2020. Today, Wednesday, March 17, 2021, I mailed him another letter, along w/a copy of the December letter requesting some compensation for all the inconvenience we have endured! Also, I sent copies to my salesman via email yesterday, Tuesday, March 16, 2021. The promised one day appointment turned into 6. It started ok with the replacement tub installed and the walls prepped for the enclosure. Plastic saw dust was left on the deck by the back door. Then he damaged the tub enclosure by dropping a tool he said and when he left the tub was left unusable for 6days of delays. Dirty footsteps were left in the bathroom. The next replacement was damaged reportedly by a forklift. The third one was installed, but they left a big mess with so much gravel in our carpet by an underhouse access door it took 3 tries of careful vacuuming. They left the dirty footprints. Plus, they never mentioned that the unit could not be used for 24 hrs! read more

We had bath fitters re do our master shower , because the tile shower we had was leaking and whoever did the tile didn't know what they were doing. The salesperson did explain the project well . The office called quickly to schedule for the work to start . John the man the that did the work was great !!! When taking out the old tile we found a good amount of water damage that extended into the exterior walls and black mold . That put the job on hold for a few days because bath fitters workers will not repair unforeseen's that extends into the exterior walls. They will simply just replace rotted plywood under tub or shower , so beware!!!! So that was an added expense to us to repair . Bath fitters did reimburse us for some of the expenses. The work John did was great the shower is Awesome!!! The only reason for 4 star rating is for the added expense and the total cost . Very expensive but very nice ! read more

The worst company I have ever dealt with. We hired them to install a custom molded overlay to cover our existing bathtub and surround. They did not install what they said they would. The salesmen said it would be custom molded and overlaid on our existing tub and surround, even after coming back to measure a second time he reassured us that the overlay would fit perfectly. After that ,we did not here from them for some time. After calling them weeks later, they would not tell us when the work would be started. They did not tell us about any changes to the estimate nor did we agree to any changes to the estimate. Then early one morning with no warning, or any kind of contact. They showed up at our door. After I left for work they completely removing the tub and surround. Instead of a custom molded overlay we received a smaller bath tub with a 3/4 inch crack between the tub and our brand new floor. A miss matched curtain rod that was installed crooked, and a corner shelf the was caulked on to the surround. We called multiple times to complain. They keep telling us a manager will call us, but know one ever does. I guess they think if they ignore use we will go away. Our next step is to complain to the Better Business Bureau. Reading the recent reviews on Google compelled me to add my two cents. First of all, I'm glad to see I am not alone in how disappointed and frustrated I feel with Bath Fitter. From customer service to on-the-site service, Bath Fitter's service is terrible all around! I echo my fellow Google reviewers' sentiment regarding Inga. Even though she works in the service industry, she is obviously on a power trip and has no regard for the wellbeing or satisfaction of Bath Fitter customers. She takes her sweet time whether it's in regards to calling you back or scheduling service calls. Moreover, she has no people skills, let alone customer service skills! In addition to that, Bath Fitter's products are low-quality and overpriced. I could not be more dissatisfied with their work. I would much rather have my old tub from the 1950s back!
